Spellbinders Dies of the Month: November!

Happy Friday! I’m here today to share a few cards I made with Spellbinders Large and Small Dies of the Month Clubs!

You can hop over to the Spellbinders website to check out all the information on Small Dies of the Month HERE and you can check out the Large Dies of the Month HERE. There are also a Value Clubs HERE if you’re interested in joining multiple clubs at once.

This Spellbinders Small Die of the Month is  Kaleidoscope Snowflake and you can find it HERE. There is a new Small Die of the Month EVERY month!

I thought this turned out so delicate, which I don’t think is my usual gig?  😉
I just used  silver thread to thread thru the snowflakes and added two layers of foam tape to give the frame I cut out with my craft knife a little lift.

The sentiments are from Lawn Fawn’s sentiment set: Offset Says Christmas HERE.

Next up, I have the Spellbinders Large Die of the Month! This one is my FAVORITE!! I mean, HOW CUTE is this Santa?! Gah! Adorable.  And I thought he wanted to be on trend in Buffalo Plaid 😉 . This one is called Santa’s Helpers  and you can find it HERE.

I just think he is cutie patootie!! And I thought this sweet sentiment from Simon Says Stamp Greetings Mix 1, Believe in You (HERE) was perfect to stamp and give this card to our son at Christmas. ❤

The stencil is called Hot Dot from Paper Smooches! ❤

Such a sweet little guy! The Large Die of the Month is available HERE!  🙂

There is one little bonus card from me this month featuring the add on and it is called SANTA’S REINDEER ETCHED DIES – SANTA’S HELPERS ADD-ON SET and you can find that one HERE!

You can add this little cutie to the same body that Santa has on the above card, just tweeking it slightly.

This sweet sentiment is from Ellen Hutson’s Oh Deer set. (I think this set is retired?)

Well, I think that is all from me today! Thanks for stopping by to check out my cards using Spellbinders Small Die of the Month Club HERE , Large Die of the Month Club HERE, and the add on Reindeer HERE. Check it out and join in the fun!

I am Grateful

Hope you have started your weekend off well! I’m here to share some more fun from  Honey Bee Stamps. Today, I am sharing a wintry card because we received several inches of snow here already this week. This is HIGHLY abnormal, but here we are! So I thought it fitting to make snowflakes. 🙂

These snowflakes are from the Layering Snowflakes. They are intended to layer up and create fun dimensional snowflakes, but I thought it would be great to show them on their own too, because they work wonderfully this way! 🙂 This sweet sentiment is from THIS stamp set called Grateful Heart. (Coordinating dies for this set are HERE.) I tend to really only send handmade holiday thank you cards, so I like to stock up my stash on these! ❤

I also used the dies called Scallop Square Gift Tags and these are FAB!! I am really looking forward to making some holiday tags this month! 🙂

The card panel is cut out with the essential Scallop A2 Card Frames. These are a staple in my card making arsenal!

I added lots of score lines, some stitching and twine to polish off this sweet card.

Be sure to check out the Honey Bee Stamps blog HERE. 🙂

Here’s a recap of all the new Honey Bee goodies I used and links to each below:

Joy!

Hope you had a wonderful weekend! I’m here to share a card using amazing new products from  Honey Bee Stamps. These cover plates are AMAZING!! I just ❤ them! They are called Winter Prism Cover Plates. There are three layers– check them out HERE.

I also used the new Joy Noel Wreath Honey Cuts . This is a fun die set with the letters and the wreath option. I thought it would be fun to cut it out of felt and then stitch it.

On top of this amazing cover plate stack, it doesn’t need much! But naturally, I used Confetti Bits: Bokeh Lights! 🙂

Be sure to check out the Honey Bee Stamps blog HERE. 🙂

Honey Bee Stamps: Season to Sparkle Hop!

Hello and welcome to my stop on the Season to Sparkle Honey Bee Stamps Blog Hop day! It’s a day of fun over at Honey Bee Stamps. If you haven’t seen all the new release goodies, you absolutely should see all the NEW Season to Sparkle HERE right now.

If you are here at my stop, and want to start from the beginning, head over to the Honey Bee Stamps blog HERE to start there. 🙂

First up, I am sharing the Merry Lights stamp set and the coordinating die, Merry Lights Honey Cuts HERE.

I keep saying it, but I love holiday lights!! So this is right up my alley! The best little trick is that there are little tiny stamps to fill in the light bulbs quickly from your ink pads. No need to pull out a bunch of markers! Stamp! Done! I die cut the Scalloped A2 Card Frames and then die cut it again to get it more to the size I needed. I scored the panel and added some stitching. Then, I added a little sparkle with some old school Stickles to polish it all off.

I think it turned out pretty festive in the end! 🙂

Next up, I have this little number using Honey Bee Stamps new Home Sweet Home HERE. There is also a coordinating die HERE called Home Sweet Home Honey Cuts.

How sweet is this? I love the homey sweet feel with the new patterned paper too–Holiday Traditions. You can find that one HERE. The new paper pads are soooooo great! 🙂

I didn’t even use my FAVORITE Confetti Bits: Bokeh Lights ❤ What?! haaaa! 🙂

Here’s a recap of all the new Honey Bee goodies I used and links to each:

Spellbinders Dies of the Month: October!

Happy Monday! I’m here today to share a couple cards I made with Spellbinders Large and Small Dies of the Month Clubs!

You can hop over to the Spellbinders website to check out all the information on Small Dies of the Month HERE and you can check out the Large Dies of the Month HERE.

This Spellbinders Small Die of the Month is Home for the Holidays and you can find it HERE.

Isn’t she darling with her little gift to give?! So sweet! What a great way to use alllllll those patterned papers you have too! This sentiment “Warm Wishes” is from Honey Bee Stamps called Fall. 😉

For this card, I simply masked off an area to blend on some ink, added some score lines, splatters and stitching. So many little details on her to make her look sweet and ready for the holidays OR if you just change her patterned dress, she can be for ANY season! Love that! 🙂

Next up, I have the Spellbinders Large Die of the Month! I thought it would be nice to take a left turn from Christmas and just make a Thank You card. The die cuts are so plentiful, you could cut a bunch all at once and create a pile of these! This one is called Fall Flora and you can find it HERE.

For this card, I just measured a window and cut it out with my craft knife and then added some stitching before adhering it all with foam tape. I went back in and arranged the sentiment and flowers over a scored panel to finish it all off. (Unfortunately, I am now dealing with the Autumn light, so the scored lines are not showing up in these photos, but I promise they are there! 🙂 )

Again, you could change up the colors on this and make it for Autumn or the Holidays or anything! So many options with the plethora of dies you get in this set! The Large Die of the Month is just that: LARGE! This one has (17) dies in it! 🙂

Well, I think that is all from me today! Thanks for stopping by to check out my cards using Spellbinders Small Die of the Month Club HERE and Large Die of the Month Club HERE. Check it out and join in the fun!

Spellbinders: Holiday!

Good morning!

I am over on the Spellbinders blog today to share some of the new Spellbinders Holiday 2019 Collection by Sharyn Sowell ! Hooray for having holiday cards made in August! 🙂

First up, I have this sweet little winter card, using Shapeabilities Winter Friends Etched Dies, Sharyn Sowell Holiday 2019 Collection. You can find this product HERE.

Isn’t this just the sweetest little scene?! Awwwww.

I offset the silhouette images slightly, to create a little “shadow”. You could make a bunch of these quick by simplifying this slightly. One layer of die cut. Patterned paper background. Done! 🙂

Next , I have this colorful holiday thank you card. I don’t generally mail handmade cards for the holidays anymore, but I do mail handmade thank you cards. I thought this card, made with the Shapeabilities Starry Forest Etched Dies, Sharyn Sowell Holiday 2019 Collection was fun in non holiday colors. This die set is HERE.

It’s quite a simple design in the end, but I think it’s effective and pops that tree die right up as the center of attention! 🙂

Color blocking leads to endless combos! This sentiment is from Paper Smooches.

Lastly, I have this very simple card—absolutely perfect for mass production! This die, Shapeabilities Love Came Down Etched Dies, Sharyn Sowell Holiday 2019 Collection makes super quick work with one simple detailed die cut! You can find this die HERE.

The glitter paper really sparkles in person, but the photo seems to dull it a lot. Boo.

I scored the panel on the background for some interest, but you could easily skip this step.

Hopefully you enjoy the thought of getting ahead on your holiday cards too! Check out all the Spellbinders goodies with their links below.

Holiday Fun with Right at Home!

Good Day to you! Hope your weekend has been a great one so far! Today, I am sharing a handful of cards I made with the recently released Bells and Baubles and Fa La La from Right at Home! Gah!! I not only love the fun choices one has to build these ornaments and baubles, but I completely adore this font!  You can check out Right At Home’s most recent release HERE! There are some cutie sets there to color too! ❤
I just stamped and stamped and stamped my little heart out, using all the Catherine Pooler inks that Right at Home carries. You can find them all HERE.
My first card is full of Cheer!
I love this festive feel– It is fun for the holidays but non-traditional. Fiesta! 🙂
Here are the inks I used:
Next up, I used more details of the baubles for this one:
Again, not traditional colors, but I thought it was a fun combo and I liked the result. I also thought it would be fun to use a dark blue, Juniper Mist on all these vs. a black.
Here are the inks I used for this one:
Lastly, I made a card using just bits and pieces of this builder stamp set. I like to stretch sets outside what they might typically be used for, and these stamps could easily be used for a birthday, hello, or whatever kind of card. Think of the color combo possibilities! 😉
I just polished this off with a few little splatters for fun. 🙂

Here are the inks I used for this one:

There is also a coordinating die set for this Bells and Baubles set. You can find that one HERE. I was going to use the dies for these stamped images (below) I had in progress, but I forgot to wait to stamp the tops of the ornaments. They have their own die cuts. Hopefully I can finish these panels and make them into cards for the holiday season too!

I hope you have been busy creating lots of holiday fun too! I’m looking forward to having some more time later this month to create more with this awesome never-ending-possibilities-set!

Thank you to Nicole for having me along to create! Always a treat! ❤

Wishing you all a wonderful week!

Jill 🙂
