Lights! December Technique Tuesday!!

Hola everyone! I hope that your week has been a good one! I wanted to shout that Technique Tuesday has another BRIGHT release this month!! THESE LIGHT BULBS! ❤

They are made with the newly released Fresh Cut Studio Bright Lights dies and the Memory Keeper’s Studio Light Bulb Moment stamps! I just think they are fantastic and can be used on sooooo many things!

Such fun!! Here’s a couple of cards I made with them…..

hawkins_jill_let-light_wm For this card, I of course, did my paper strips and then die cut the light bulbs from it. This was tricky, I’m not going to lie. The teeny tiny strips of paper are delicate, and if they aren’t adhered REALLY well before you die cut, watch out! 🙂 But I super ❤ how they turned out!hawkins_jill_let-light_00_wmFor this card below, I just die cut them more traditionally and glued them to the card stock panel. I then added scored lines to the panel and stitching. The alphabet letters I used are the perfect size and from THIS die set, Home Town Lower Case dies.hawkins_jill_bethebright_00_wmGah! Love that bright green on the black! 😉 And I love to create my own sentiments! 🙂hawkins_jill_bethebright_wmBe sure to check out all the fun new stuff from Technique Tuesday this month HERE!

Happy Fourth!

Happy holiday weekend, USA! Thought I’d use some fun Technique Tuesday stamps and some quick, loose watercoloring to make a festive USA card. 🙂

hawkins_jill_oh hello_wmThis little cutie will be fun to send in the mail!

hawkins_jill_oh hello_00_wmI used the Technique Tuesday sets Beary Sweet, and Bravo, and the Hometown Alpha dies. I used a little flag I have in my cupcake topper stash. Once again, baking meets card making. 🙂 Love this little bear and alpha set!

Be sure to check out the Technique Tuesday site for the new July release!! I’ll be sharing some cards soon with the latest fun! 🙂

Thanks for stopping by! Have an awesome and safe Fourth of July, USA friends!

Fresh Slices of Thanks

I’m back today with some watermelon goodness using the same set as yesterday: Technique Tuesday’s Summer Adventure. You can check out a couple other cards I made with the same set HERE and HERE. 🙂 Summmmer! 🙂

hawkins_jill_thanks_wmToday, the grass was wet. Haaaaa!! 🙂

hawkins_jill_thanks_00_wmLove these WATERMELONS and this Hometown Alpha set ROCKS! 🙂

I masked off some watercolor paper and stamped all the watermelons from Technique Tuesday’s Summer Adventure. After that, I loosely watercolored them with my Zig pens, diecut the letters, arranged, stitched and poof! Oh, and the little heart is from TT’s Heart Strings die. 😉

If I made this again, I’d make that center space narrower and tighten the columns I think? Hmmmm? I actually thought this would be a technique trial card, but it went well, so I ran with it! 🙂 And now, I need to mail it!

Planner Stamps for Cards!

I super enjoy Technique Tuesday planner stamps! They are so fun and whimsy! I am trying to commit to using a planner, so I can use them often. 🙂 We’ll see. In the meantime, I know I make cards! So that’s what I did:
hawkins_jill_thx_wmThis little car is one of my favorite of the planner stamps! 🙂 It is from the set: Planner-Car.

hawkins_jill_thx_00_wmThe letters are from the die set: Hometown Lower Case. I need to use these more often, because I like the font! 🙂 And it’s the perfect size for cards! I quick colored the cars with Copics. No blending, just color! 🙂

You can check out all the Technique Tuesday Planner Products HERE. If you are a planner person, I cannot recommend them enough. Also, their price point is awesome!! 😉

Thanks for stopping by! Have a fantabulous week!
