Ellen Hutson’s New July Release!

Today, there is a super fun NEW RELEASE from Ellen Hutson! This release is by Julie Ebersole and you know I am a fan of what Julie whips up! This release is no exception! πŸ™‚

There is so much fun on the mermaid front, but this time I flocked to the Rainbow and Unicorns set!Β  Because: Rainbows.Β  πŸ™‚ #trouble

Go Forth and Be Fabulous! ❀

This little unicorn and all the rainbow fun! eeeeek!

For this card, I created a Distress Oxide Ink background with masking and blending.

Fantasmagorical?! ❀

I colored all the little images with Copic Markers and then added them to the cards in little scenes.

This sentiment had me at Sprinkles! I love everything sprinkles!Β  LOL! πŸ™‚

This sentiment is a RIOT! Sure to make someone laugh, I’m sure! I did!

Too funny!

And then this last card, I kept it very simple, but it probably took the longest to make! It was late at night and I was trying to line everything up with tired eyes. Silly! πŸ™‚

Rainbow delight! With Sparkly glitter to boot!! πŸ™‚

I used three new Essentials by Ellen products for these cards:

Essentials By Ellen Clear Stamps, Pure Magic By Julie Ebersole

Essentials By Ellen Clear Stamps, Unicorns ‘N Rainbows By Julie Ebersole

Essentials By Ellen Designer Dies, Unicorns ‘N Rainbows By Julie Ebersole

I also used the previously released and versatile: ESSENTIALS BY ELLEN CLEAR STAMPS, PATTERN PLAY BY BRANDI KINCAID.

For several of the cards,Β  I added a few Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear confetti bits. Love those little sparkly bits!

Be sure to check out all the fun new products released today over at Ellen Hutson HERE! Have a great Sunday!

Thanks for stopping by!

Take care– Jill πŸ™‚

Technique Tuesday Release Day! July!

The day has come for all the new Technique Tuesday July products to be available HERE!

I adore this little bug set so much!! Another win from Teri Anderson! πŸ™‚

For this fresh new card, I used Technique Tuesday’s new Bugs and Kisses stamp set. I colored the cute bees with Copic Markers and fussy cut them out. I then used an old Fiskars punch for the small hexagons and scored the panel. I added some stitching and adhered everything on. Love how cute these bees are! πŸ™‚

Technique Tuesday: Day 1 of the July Release Countdown

Today we are showing Day One of the Technique Tuesday countdown to the new July release! It’s full of outdoor goodness! πŸ™‚

I forgot how hard it is to photograph a dark card. But I enjoy how this sweet butterfly pops!

For this card, I used the soon to be released, Butterfly on the Border Crafting Die.Β Β (Link will work on July 1st when products are released.) I also used the previously released Flowers for Her stamp set for the sentiment.

I die cut the butterfly from the black and then pieced in the orange cardstock. Afterward I added some white gel pen highlights and some stitching. I mailed this card to my Grandmother yesterday ❀️.

Be sure to check out the NEW products from Technique Tuesday HERE! (Again, these new products above will be available via their links on July 1st!)

Some Monday-ness…

Happy Monday! I thought a few of these TT cards I made were fitting for today, being Monday and all. πŸ™‚ The full July release from Technique Tuesday can be found HERE!

How about this one? LOL. It’s hot out and I’m in road trip recovery, so this sounds good to me! πŸ™‚

I used Technique Tuesday’s new Sweet Succulents set ( ❀ ) and Sassy Lazy Thoughts. This new Sassy set is a freaking riot!! πŸ™‚ For this card, I watercolored with my Zig Clean Color markers on Bristol paper.

Next up, Lorenzo the Llama set and coordinating dies HERE. I type his name and I giggle still!

Spit happens! Perfect! LOL! I colored Lorenzo with Copic Markers and die cut the Memo Pad Die from patterned paper.

And last, but not least for today,Β  we have this little number:

Bwwwahhhahhaaa! I used the Sassy Lazy Thoughts set again, along with the Planner stamp set called Planner Yum! Again, this was watercolored with Zig markers and stitched up to finish it off! πŸ™‚

Be sure to check outΒ  Technique Tuesday HERE!Β  πŸ™‚

Done Adulting

If you missed my post yesterday for the new Essentials by Ellen Release, check it out HERE! I am elated to have joined in the new release fun!

Today, I’m sharing this card made with Julie Ebersole’s new Mermaid’s Tail set. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, Julie is a serious threat to my pocketbook! LOL! ❀

This is my FAVORITE sentiment! ❀ !! For this I colored directly on the mermaid stamp with my Zig Clean Color makers and then sprayed a bit of water on before stamping it on watercolor paper. I then added the sentiment and some stitching. I was surprised at how well it turned out! πŸ™‚

For my second card today, I used Brandi Kincaid’s new set, Crafty Lady and coordinating dies. Gah! πŸ™‚

This sentiment rocks for so many crafty friends! πŸ™‚

For this card, I stamped them with Versafine Black ink and used Zig Clean Color markers to watercolor. (I’m not super skilled at skin nor hair. Yikes! Poor lady. LOL)  I thought she looked a lot like me in the end, with paint and ink all over her shirt! πŸ™‚

Here’s a look at the sets:

The sentiment on the second card is from the Crafty Ladies Say set.

SUCH FUN! Thank you again to all the fabulous peeps at Ellen Hutson! πŸ™‚ Yay!!
Have a great Thursday!

Body Language

Happy Friday! It feels like two weeks are wrapping up this week, and I can’t grasp it is actually Friday today? The holiday always throws me off! πŸ™‚

Today I am sharing a handful of cards I made with the new Body Language stamp set and icons dies! I could not stop using them! They just really crack me up!
Seriously, PUNTASTIC in every way! πŸ™‚
I could not resist putting the sunglasses on from the Pineapple 2 Die. I covered them with Glossy Accents for added flair. πŸ˜‰
(This patterned paper above I have been coveting for years! Eeeeek I used it!)
“Are you KIdney me?” THIS is possibly my favorite of the sentiments. So funny to me! I read it with a “You’re killin’ me Smalls!” inflection. πŸ™‚ I’m hoping my brother gets a kick out of them too!
Let’s Belly Laugh!
How cute is this organ? LOL! πŸ™‚ It’s the eyelashes that sell it. Not to mention the tiny little arms! Haaaa!
Take a Deep Breath.
I love the sweetness of these lungs, making it through together. ❀
For all these cards, I used Paper Smooches’ For You Tag die! This tag rocks–I ❀ its little shape.Β  πŸ™‚
I colored all these cute organs with Copic markers. I coated some with Glossy Accents and added googley eyes to others. I also used a lot of patterned paper! Whooooot! A couple of these PP are my coveted ones, so I’m amazed I used them–haaa! I’m sure my fellow cardmakers can relate to that quandary!
I can’t wait to give these to friends and family! πŸ™‚
You can enjoy all the new July Paper Smooches HERE!πŸ™‚ Thanks for stopping by today!
Have a great weekend!
