Another week, another MFT Sketch Challenge. Sketch #263 on the My Favorite Things Challenge & Inspiration blog. Yana’s guest projects over there this month are fun!! 🙂
Here’s my take: Love. This. Chemistry. ❤
I stamped gray on gray here, but the ink really soaked into the card stock overnight. Wacky.
Also, I believe this is a flask, not a beaker. But I color owls blue. So, you know. All is fair in creative endeavors, right? 😉
Laina’s newly released sets for January make me so very happy! The minute I saw it, I knew there was Undeniable Chemistry! 🙂
My card is made with the following supplies at My Favorite Things: Die-namics: LLD Chemistry Set, Basic Edges, File Folder Edges, Wonky Stitched Rectangle STAX (LOVE!), Stitched Fishtail Banners. Stamps: Undeniable Chemistry. Card stock and Inks.
Thanks for stopping in!
MFT Sketch Challenge #247 begins its reign on the My Favorite Things Challenge & Inspiration Blog today!
This week’s sketch:Here is my take this week: I rotated and flipped the banner a bit 😉
This New York die is awesome. 🙂 I’m pining for a Chicago one now. LOL 🙂 I also dig this sketch!
I die cut the skyline and then used the positive and negative cuts as a stencil to spray with Copic markers. Something different. Fun fun! 🙂
I didn’t get my second sketch card made yet this week (September is a bit cookoo around here!), but I thought I’d share these cute little treats.
Quick and simple. I thought I’d attach all the clothespins differently, to illustrate the options.
I think this bat one is my fave! 🙂 But these ghosts below are my favorite images in this set. So cute!
It would be really easy to take these to the next level and add some twine and coloring. I also think some sparkle would be fun! But I knew the sparkle wouldn’t photograph well. 😉 I wanted to keep mine quick, simple and oh so fun! 🙂
I do love fall and all it brings! Treats! 🙂

MFT Sketch Challenge #240 on My Favorite Things Challenge & Inspiration begins rockin’ today!
Here is this week’s sketch:This is my card for the week: One of my favorite Sketch cards to date. LOVE these dies.
I used a Fuse Green card base and stamped the new Wonky Chevron background on the inside. Adds a little fun for the recipient 🙂 “You Got This” = Awesomesauce.
I really enjoyed this week’s sketch, so I made another card. Then I had ideas for at least three more, but, it was almost midnight. 😉 Some other day…
Those little flags use the new August released Fringe die! Oh goodness, that’s a fun one too! 🙂 The Primitive White base gives a nice warmth to the card.
This one is being mailed to a friend…and it is WAY overdue. 😦
My first card is made with the following supplies at My Favorite Things:

Here is this week’s sketch:
:This is my card for the week:
I cannot get enough Abstraction! 🙂 Now it is in stamp and stencil form! LOVE.
I used watercolors to paint the whole panel. It probably would have gone faster if I had done a couple triangles at once with the same color. But no. Did one. At. A. Time. It isn’t perfect, but I don’t think watercolor should be? I like things crisp, so this was good to do something different.
Bonus: Today is the 3rd day of MFT Summer School!
Be sure to head over to the MFT Blog to read the lesson and link up to the other cards the MFT design team made. 🙂
Today is all about: Primary! Primary colors: Red, Yellow and Blue.

I’m unsure as to who made this!? Between the color combo and flowers (yes, again!), I need to check my temperature. Haaaaa! I try to stretch out of my comfort zone now and again, and let me tell you, this one is a huge stretch for me. 😉 Should hold me over for awhile.
I had to splatter the inside of the card to balance myself out a bit. LOL.
Oh, and be sure to stretch your dies! I did so a few times on this one with both the Blueprints 23 and the Jumbo Fishtail Banner STAX. You can get a bigger bang from your supplies. 🙂
