Hola! I ❤ this sentiment from Neat and Tangled! 🙂
I used Neat and Tangled’s stamp set Good Vibes and their stencil Scoops, blending on Distress Inks. I then sprayed it with water to get a little movement, but apparently it wasn’t having it! Haaaa!
I wanted to get in on this month’s Little Tangles Challenge: Color Combo Challenge! Plenty of time for you to join in too! How awesome and tasty is this image below?!Yum! Happy Summer indeed!
Thanks for stopping by! Have a great week!
Happy Wednesday! I’m popping in today to share a card I whipped up with some Neat and Tangled goodies! 🙂
For this, I used Distress Oxide inks. I was trying to avoid them, but after trying a friend’s ink, well, here I am! (They blend like butta’!) A shout out to my crafty friends for helping me acquire them #troublemakers 😉 🙂
Originally, I had this “Awesome” die cut all white, and I was done! As I got up from my desk to go sleep, I instead grabbed my sponge and rubbed on some Worn Lipstick Oxide ink across the top. Then, I was really going to bed. Nope, grabbed the Wink of Stella to add some glimmer, and topped it off with Glossy Accents. It was WAY late at night! Luckily, I didn’t ruin the card…I think I made it better! Phew! 😉 In the fog, I forgot to stitch the panel, but I’ll still call this a win! 🙂
I was so excited to receive this N & T stencil, Geometric Blooms, designed by my crazy talented friend, Miriam. I also used Neat & Tangled’s Awesome die! This stencil is fantastic, and the possibilities are endless!! 🙂 I lucked into these great sequins from N & T too, Pink Lemonade Sequin Mix. Yum!
Squeaking this in for this month’s Little Tangles Challenge: Stencil! Wish I had could make a couple more entries, but tick-tock!
I was fortunate to win this stencil & sequins from a Neat & Tangled giveaway on Instagram! Super fun! Thank you, Neat and Tangled! ❤
Thanks for stopping by! The rest of the week is downhill, right? 🙂
I had to make this card for my little nut 🙂 . He is going to think these little squirrels are so cute! ❤
I watercolored a rainbow for the background. It went a little awry, but that is what happens with watercolor, right?
I’m joining in the Little Tangles Challenge: Rainbow! Love a rainbow!! I’d love to make another one.
I colored these little cuties for Kathy’s The Daily Marker 30 Day Challenge. If you haven’t joined in, I recommend it! Kathy is a star for keeping it going and dropping smiles everywhere. You can find my attempts on Instagram here –> jilldhawkins . If you join in once or twice, it’s all good! I’m wondering if I’ll complete another full 30 days myself?! Here’s hoping! 🙂
This stamp set is Neat & Tangled’s My Favorite Nut.
Have a great week!! 🙂
I could spend an entire day using Neat & Tangled’s Hexastar Cover Plate! I always think I will trim it up and use it differently. And eventually I will, but I love to inlay it! So that’s what happens when I sit down to use it 🙂
I also used their awesome Awesome die. 🙂 Can you use the same adjective to describe the noun? Haaaaa! 🙂
This is a dark navy color and a bright flamingo pink. Quite spring like, and fitting for the most bazarro warm weather we have been having here this February! 😉
I’m joining in the Little Tangles Challenge by the skin of my teeth! Check it out HERE.
Also, my friend Miriam, who designed this Hexastar Cover plate I used above, designed more gems for Neat & Tangled that just released… THIS and THIS! So brilliant! Both are on my wish list, along with a dozen other things. Always, right?! 🙂
Thanks for stopping by! 🙂
I’m convinced I could use this Hexastar cover plate from Neat & Tangled and never tire of all the possibilities! I wanted to participate in the new Little Tangles challenge this month, so I started there…and then, this happened! 🙂
The challenge this month is working off the photo below. So naturally, I thought, Hexastar for the Umbrellas. Then I ended up doing just the diamonds in the Flamingo pink. Well, when you finish a pattern on these die, it looks different from what you may have envisioned! In a good way, but funny! I was going for a diagonal pattern and it started looking more linear, so I added the navy…and whammo!! Totally different, totally cool! 🙂In then end, I was inspired by the photo (love umbrellas!) and I can see it reflected in this card. Have I mentioned how much I ADORE this cover plate?! I’m hoping Miriam comes up with another! wink wink 😉 😉

If you’d like to see another card I made with this freaking awesome die, check these out HERE and HERE. 🙂 Be warned, there will be more! Especially because I have a pile of these already cut and ready to rock. Haaaa!
Thanks for stopping by this weekend! 🙂
You Are the Sprinkles on My Donut! Such a fun set from Neat & Tangled! I had the super good fortune to win this Say Yes to Donuts set last month, so I thought it perfect to use it for this month’s Little Tangles Challenge! 🙂 (You can check out last month’s post HERE.) Thank you again, Neat & Tangled! You know how to make a girl smile! 🙂
The challenge this month is Embossing. I wanted to heat emboss the icing on my donut with my Versamark pen and powder. But apparently my Versamark pen is AWOL. It must be hanging with my powder tool, that has been MIA for about four years. Haaaa!! Anywho, what to do? Well, I used a glue pen to stick the powder down. I do not advice this method. It bubbles! But for the icing, it was all good. 🙂
Can you see all that bubble texture? LOL!! I also embossed my sentiment by using Versafine ink. Much more conventional. 😉The Little Tangles Challenge this month can be found HERE. Check it out! Fun fun! 🙂
Thanks for stopping by! And thank you for the sweet comments! 🙂
