A handful of cards today!

Happy Sunday! Today I’m just here to share a smattering of cards I’ve made recently. I thought I’d just share them all here at once. Many of these products are still available over at Ellen Hutson , but some were either a promotion or they are retired. I always think you can likely find a substitute if you’re interested in using an idea here as a launching pad. πŸ™‚

First up, I have a couple Avery Elle cards! πŸ™‚

This first one is ready for Father’s Day this year–perfect for my hubby! So shhhhh don’t show him yet. πŸ™‚ It uses the following from Avery Elle:Β Avery Elle Swell Stamp, Burst Elle-Ments, Avery Elle Sea-Prise! Stamps, Avery Elle Celebraytion Stamps (this one for the second card).

(The Happy Father’s Day is from well loved, but much older AE set.)

I colored everything with Copic Markers. The background I stamped with two different inks and pieced it allllll together. So fun how it turned out.

Next up, I created this one with the Burst Elle-Ments from Avery Elle… a long time FAVORITE die! (I used this same die to create the “porthole” above.)

I used pretty much the same Avery Elle goodies here, mixing it up a bit to create a card for our son. This sentiment below is from Avery Elle’s Celebraytion Stamps.

Next up, I have a couple cards using goodies from the Stamp Market: Hello Stencil, Leaves Stencil.

For both of these, I blended on background colors over these fun stencils and then added the Hi and Hellos on top. πŸ™‚

I like this repeating hello in just black and white, but I think coloring it could be super fun too!

Next up, I created a couple Spring Hi Cards. πŸ™‚ These are perfect to pop in the mail!

I always like the yellow and green blend…it never fails me. πŸ™‚

I used some Distress InksΒ and some Distress Oxide Inks.

I had a lot of fun making these cards and I hope you too have some time to create soon!

So fun!Β Here are all the products that are available now and links again:

Avery Elle: Swell Stamp, Burst Elle-Ments, Β Sea-Prise! Stamps, Celebraytion Stamps.

The Stamp Market: Hello Stencil, Leaves Stencil.

That’s all I have for today! Now I am heading outside as we have unusually and VERY unseasonable warm weather here today….before three days of snow. Yikes! πŸ™‚

Take care– Jill πŸ™‚

Black and White and Red all over indeed! πŸ™‚ Such a great new set of I Heart You dies (saying I Love You) with Kim’s fantastic whimsy handwriting! So many things to do with this little gem!

I die cut the sentiment out and matted it, adding it all to a die cut frame (using the Scallop Frame Dies) and the Half Moon Paper. The plaid is so fun and I love the cozy feel of this card. πŸ™‚

Love You

Are you ready for the weekend? I am looking forward to it.

You can check out all the new Paper Smooches β™₯️  HERE. It’s nice to still feel like summer with this fresh release!

This is the great new stencil Succulent Stencil. I love that it is super large and can fill a card in a snap! This sweet sentiment is from the new Posh Planters stamps (matching dies Posh Planters dies).  πŸ™‚

I blended on some inks, actually super fast, because I just wanted to try this stencil. Ha! And then I really liked it, so I kept it and used it. Big win.  I added some stitching to finish it all off. I went a little awry in a couple places, (don’t look too hard!), but I think it’s ok. πŸ˜‰

Such a sweet card in the end!

You Are Loved! New Release from SSS!

There is a newΒ You Are LovedΒ releaseΒ  available over at Simon Says Stamp HERE. I used the new Love Messages sentiment set today to make this tropically card! πŸ™‚ (Yes, that’s a word. πŸ˜‰ )

I masked off a small area and added on some Distress Oxide Inks: Fossilized Amber, Spiced Marmalade and Peacock Feathers. Then I white heat embossed this sentiment over top.

I wanted to send this card now to warm up a mailbox, so I kept it more neutral vs. Valentine’s themed. Of course,Β  you can use this anytime and for ❀ day! πŸ™‚

This is is FULL of sweet sentiments to give to people. I stamped on inside and then forgot to photograph before sealing the envelope. Check out the set–you’ll see what I mean πŸ˜‰ . Sometimes you just need to send a little love, and today I do!

Thanks for Simon Says Stamp for having me along to celebrate this lovely release πŸ˜‰ ! ❀

Thanks for stopping by! Happy Wednesday!

Take care–Jill

Love. Love. Love.

Happy Freezing Friday here in the Midwest! buuuuuuuuuuuuurrrrrr!

Let’s warm it up with some ❀ !

This is Paper Smooches new In Stitches stamp set! It is such a sweet set!

I stamped the LOVE in three different colors, and then die cut some Paper Smooches hearts. I inked those with the same ink pads I stamped with. After that, I finished off the hearts with a little Wink of Stella and Glossy Accents.Β

I also used my scoring board to create an embossed frame around the words. Then I finished that panel off with some stitching.

I hope you all have a warm and cozy weekend ahead! Be sure to check out the Paper Smooches Blog HERE. I think I saw a giveaway? Wink wink πŸ˜‰

Happy Tuesday! I’m popping in to share this card I made a little while back. I used the Paper Smooches Cross Stitch Die. ❀ Very cool and VERSATILE die!!

I stitched this sentiment on a plane ride last month, and forgot to share my finished card! πŸ™‚ I had some friends helping me pop out the holes in the cardstock. It is VERY easy to do, if you just drag your needle (or the like) across a row of dots. It also makes a fun noise–LOL! πŸ™‚

After I stitched this LOVE, I die-cut a window in another black panel. I lined that window with sequins from my stash, and reverse scored the panel to add a little ooomph. I use this technique a lot, because it is quick and doesn’t add anything too distracting. I adhered the stitched panel behind, and popped the whole thing up with some fun foam.

I winged the stitching on this card, but it would go even faster if you had a plan/pattern before you start. Just sayin’ πŸ™‚

The cross stitch die also is fantastic for subtle backgrounds. You can see how I used it for such on THIS card here.

I’ll be back Thursday with the Paper Smooches June DT hop! This upcoming release is sure to make you smile! πŸ™‚

Take care- Jill πŸ™‚

Kind of a fun-little-something-different. Then I watercolored the background by mixing distress colors. I must get my hands on that Twisted Citron Distress Pad. πŸ˜‰
