Happy Freezing Friday here in the Midwest! buuuuuuuuuuuuurrrrrr!
Let’s warm it up with some ❤ !
This is Paper Smooches new In Stitches stamp set! It is such a sweet set!
I stamped the LOVE in three different colors, and then die cut some Paper Smooches hearts. I inked those with the same ink pads I stamped with. After that, I finished off the hearts with a little Wink of Stella and Glossy Accents.
I also used my scoring board to create an embossed frame around the words. Then I finished that panel off with some stitching.
I hope you all have a warm and cozy weekend ahead! Be sure to check out the Paper Smooches Blog HERE. I think I saw a giveaway? Wink wink 😉
Take care- Jill 🙂
Happy Tuesday! I’m popping in to share this card I made a little while back. I used the Paper Smooches Cross Stitch Die. ❤ Very cool and VERSATILE die!!
I stitched this sentiment on a plane ride last month, and forgot to share my finished card! 🙂 I had some friends helping me pop out the holes in the cardstock. It is VERY easy to do, if you just drag your needle (or the like) across a row of dots. It also makes a fun noise–LOL! 🙂
After I stitched this LOVE, I die-cut a window in another black panel. I lined that window with sequins from my stash, and reverse scored the panel to add a little ooomph. I use this technique a lot, because it is quick and doesn’t add anything too distracting. I adhered the stitched panel behind, and popped the whole thing up with some fun foam.
I winged the stitching on this card, but it would go even faster if you had a plan/pattern before you start. Just sayin’ 🙂
The cross stitch die also is fantastic for subtle backgrounds. You can see how I used it for such on THIS card here.
I’ll be back Thursday with the Paper Smooches June DT hop! This upcoming release is sure to make you smile! 🙂
Here’s my take on MFT Sketch Challenge #275! (My Favorite Things Challenge & Inspiration blog.)Almost a literal take…almost 🙂 I stamped the flowers with watered down Distress Inks. Kind of a fun-little-something-different. Then I watercolored the background by mixing distress colors. I must get my hands on that Twisted Citron Distress Pad. 😉
This one is going postal today. ❤
My card is made with supplies at My Favorite Things. Dienamics: Blueprints 24, Stitched Fishtail Flag STAX. Stamps: Build-able Blooms, Friends Like Us.

Here’s my take on MFT Sketch Challenge #274! (My Favorite Things Challenge & Inspiration blog.)I shrunk, shifted, and rotated the square portion of the sketch. I guess in the end, this was a loose take! 🙂 Haaaa!
I decided I need more ‘Hello’ cards to send, so I went with that 🙂My card is made with supplies at My Favorite Things. Dienamics: Wonky Stitched Square STAX, Stitched Heart STAX. Stamps: Label Maker Love and Sketched Chevron BG. Primitive White + other card stock. 🙂

Dropping in to share my completed card from my Day 14 of Kathy Racoosin’s The Daily Marker, 30 Day Color Challenge project.
I did a quick watercolor of a Hero Arts Stitched Heart. In doing this, I just cross my fingers and hope it dries into something I like :). I thought this would brighten a mailbox!
It was Valentine’s Day when I made this, but I think it works any day.
This Stitched Heart is an older Hero Arts Woodblock stamp. These are the only stamps I used to own! 🙂 I still have all my Hero Arts woodblocks. Keepers for sure. The sentiment here is from the newer Hero Arts Holiday Set, Christmas Crystals! That set is awesome! 🙂
Also, I used my favorite Wonky Stitched STAX dies from My Favorite Things. 🙂
Thanks for stopping by! Enjoy your Sunday!

When I first saw that color combo, I enjoyed it. I’m just not sure I made it shine. Ha! 😉

Squeaking one in for the MFT Sketch Challenge this week: Sketch #264. (My Favorite Things Challenge & Inspiration blog.)
Here’s my take: Abstracting and label making love. ❤
And the Stitched Heart STAX! So <3. I put everything on a wonky angle, because apparently that’s what I do! 😉I used the Abstract Stencil, spraying pink & gray Copics with the Distress Marker Sprayer. It’s always on my desk, but I’m trying to clean and purge. So I moved it to a “better location” and it took me 10 minutes to find it. I think I function better in the organized chaos? Ha! 🙂
