Whale Hello!

Hello! I wanted to share one last card this month using the March RELEASE from Paper Smooches

I love this little whale from Huge Hugs + Huge Hugs Icon Dies and now he has a cool new wave to ride with the new Swoosh Stencil!  This new stencil is crazy versatile, but I thought it would be fun to use it as a wave. 🙂

I blended on a few inks to create a rainbow like wave for this little guy, added some stitching and adhered him on with some foam adhesive. Oh so fun! 🙂

Be sure to check out all of the Paper Smooches March Release! We’ll be back next week with some fun new goodies for April! 🙂

Have a great weekend! 🙂

You Are Forever in My Heart…

Hope you are having a good weekend–I’m sure it’s a bit different that usual, but it just means more time to craft! 🙂

I’m here to share a card using some goodies from  Honey Bee Stamps.

I figured we could allllll use a rainbow about now, so I ran with that! 🙂

I continue thinking differently about some of the products I have and this one came together swimmingly! This is the Stacking Pockets Honey Cuts….I just haven’t cut it apart yet, so I die cut it out of every color and voila, a rainbow! The best part: I can make EIGHT total cards out of these die cuts! So let’s see if if I get to that now or later.  🙂

The sentiment is from the Heart stamp set and the Honey Cuts: Hearts.  I enjoy those little hearts and the layered word “heart”. So sweet! 🙂

I hope you have enjoyed my March of Honey Bee product re-purposing!  🙂 It’s so fun to stretch our supplies for new things.

Be sure to check out the Honey Bee Stamps blog HERE. 🙂

Here’s a recap of all the new Honey Bee goodies I used and links to each below:

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you have time to craft and maybe do a little crafty shopping if the mood strikes! I think all the small businesses need us more than ever! 🙂

Take care and stay well–Jill 🙂

Exciting Time!

If you haven’t already, be sure to check out the NEW March RELEASE from Paper Smooches

This card is made with the new super sweet and swank Abode set–how fun are these chairs!? gah!

I think this little set is delightful to use and I love the fun size! 🙂

I colored these chairs with Copic markers and created a background using the Autumn Stencil (*bonus points for using a seasonal stencil non-seasonally, right?) as a stencil to mask in a pattern from the Essential Stencil. I thought this would be a fun card to send to someone moving or buying a new home. 🙂 This sweet sentiment is from New Beginnings 2.

Be sure to check out all of the new Paper Smooches March Release!

Hope your March has been a great one so far! 🙂

Love You!

Have you had a moment to check out the NEW RELEASE from Paper Smooches! It’s such fun!! 🙂

This card features the new Rainbow Sherbet Cardstock dies and that’s all. I didn’t stamp or die cut a single thing for this card, which quite frankly, I don’t really understand myself! I just arranged the cute little die cuts and stuck them all on a scored/stitched card panel. (*I did color this little heart over the top–it was a pretty pink, but I needed a deep orange for this card. I did so very easily with a Copic Marker–the die cut paper is awesome like that–no smearing, no problem.)

I absolutely adore it and I love this little bee! 🙂

Be sure to check out all of the new Paper Smooches March Release!

Hooray for Spring–it’s on the way!!

Hello Jen, my friend!

Hope you are having a fun weekend so far! I’m here to share a card using some of my favorite products from  Honey Bee Stamps. These cover plates are AMAZING–and I want to use them on every card!! I just ❤ them! They are called Winter Prism Cover Plates. There are three layers– check them out HERE. I keep thinking I’ll cut them up in different colors, but then, here I am with pure white because they just look SO cool!

I also used the  Joy Noel Wreath Honey Cuts. This is a fun die set with the letters and the wreath option. BUT when your friend’s name can be cut and spelled out, well, you do that!! 🙂 I just hope this arrives in Jen’s mailbox before she sees the card online. shhhhh! 🙂

The little “Hello” sentiment is from another HB set called Rainbow Wishes. On top of this amazing cover plate stack, I decided not to add anything else. But naturally, I did attempt to use some Confetti Bits: Bokeh Lights. Just decided against it because there is so much texture and geometry with everything already. 🙂

I just so enjoy when you can take your holiday products and use them for non-holiday projects too! These cover plates are the definition of doing that and it just so happened I could spell my friend’s name with the holiday letters too– Score! 🙂

Be sure to check out the Honey Bee Stamps blog HERE. 🙂

Today, I’m sharing a card showing off the new Flutterby! This month’s release is such fun because the stamp sets are smaller (3 x 4) than Paper Smooches typical set, which makes them fun to collect for all of us! Just something a little different this month. 🙂
I combined this with the sweet Hello sentiment from the new Abode! I love how this turned out in the end. I wasn’t sure it would and I like it! 🙂
I stamped this with two colors of ink a few times and then added  some splats and a scored frame. It’s way more elegant of a result than I am used to making! ha!  🙂

This NEW Paper Smooches release is available NOW!

Next up, be sure to visit Karin–Karin is sure to have good things to see! 🙂

Thanks for joining us today!!

Technique Tuesday: April Release Countdown

Happy Friday! Today we are showing Day One of the Technique Tuesday countdown to the new release! It’s another lovely release with a few laughs in the mix, of course. 🙂

My card uses a super sweet new sentiment and some fantastically bold flowers!

I colored these flowers with Copic Markers. Yes, that is indeed purple. 😉 Voluntary use of purple. I should maybe check my temperature again? 🙂 Ha! For the background, I blended on some Distress Oxide Inks and added some splats. This one is already en route to my Grandmother. ❤

These two new sets are called: Grandma Blessings Clear Stamps and Flowers For Her Clear Stamps. (Links available once the release goes live on April 1st.)

Be sure to check out the NEW products from Technique Tuesday HERE! (Again, these new products above will be available via those links on April 1st!)

Bwaaahahaaaa! So funny! 🙂

I made this card before I had the dies, but I love the Black and White simplicity ❤ .

Technique Tuesday Release Day!

The day has come for all the new Technique Tuesday March products to be available HERE! Hoooooray! AND I get to share my favorite card from this release!

(If you missed my post Tuesday, click HERE. If you missed my post yesterday, catch up on that one HERE!)

As I said, this is my favorite card, because I am always a huge fan of the laughs the Sassy sets bring me! 🙂 This card was made with the new Technique Tuesday stamp set: Sassy Love Your Guts. And the coordinating dies for this stamp set are HERE.

I mean, if this sentiment does say I love your guts, what does?! Haaaaa! I think it’s a riot! 🙂

For the background of this card, I again blended on Distress Oxide inks and added some splatters. (Sensing a pattern this month, are you? LOL!) I colored the fun jellyfish with Zig Clean Color markers and white heat embossed the sentiment on a black piece of cardstock. I adhered all the jellies with foam tape for dimension, added a few sequins and stitched the panel down. I can’t wait to give this one to my husband. Bwaaaahaaahaa!

Be sure to head over the Technique Tuesday Blog HERE so you can link to the whole TT DT’s Sneaks! I imagine they are all pin worthy! 🙂

Also, you can find all the NEW March products from Technique Tuesday HERE!

More Sneaks from Technique Tuesday!

Day TWO of Technique Tuesday’s March Release Countdown! Let’s see if I can get your goat… 🙂

(If you missed my post yesterday, click HERE to head over there and see those fun new goodies too!)

Today, I am sharing a fun new set called Gertie and Garth Goat! I so ❤ that name Gertie! 🙂 There are coordinating dies available for them HERE too! (These links will work when the products are available tomorrow, March 1st!)

I didn’t have the coordinating die when I made this card, so please overlook the fussy cutting. 😉 I think this is such a fun card to give to a family welcoming a new little one! 🙂I blended on Distress Oxide inks and added a few splatters afterward. I then stitched the whole panel on and added my watercolored Gertie Goat. 🙂

Be sure to head over the Technique Tuesday Blog HERE so you can link to everyone’s projects! I can’t wait to see everything that was made too! 🙂

Be sure to check out the NEW products from Technique Tuesday HERE! The new products shown above will be available via those links Tomorrow, Thursday, March 1st! 🙂

I’ll catch you back here again tomorrow for RELEASE DAY and another card!
