NEW Mini Slim Essentials from Taylored Expressions!

Taylored Expressions has a New Release today and it is of all things MINI SLIM!! It’s a fun new Mini Slim Essentials Release and it’s full of add-ons to really add some details to our Mini Slim cards!

First up, there is some new little stamps in town that I added onto this Mini Slim Tri-Fold Card. This is the new Tutti Fruttiย set and it is SO cute! I used the previously released Mini Slim Trifold Template + Dies – Circle with the Mini Slim Trifold card base from TE.

I mean really. These fruits just make me happy! And I added some googley eyes for extra fun. ๐Ÿ™‚

To create the front of this tri-fold, I used the previously released Masking Stencil – Mini Slim Rectangle along with the new Mini Slim Stencil – Wonky Dots. I used Cilantro, Granny Smith, Lemon Meringue and Pineapple to blend.

I die cut the circles using both and then added the two sizes to create a uniform look from the front. I think it turned out kinda fun! ๐Ÿ™‚

This is the second layer, if you will. I used the new Mini Slim Thin Frame Cutting Plate to create this fun little border stripe. I cannot wait to use these more and create lots of stripey goodness! The thinness of the frame is going to be great to use for many things.

For this layer, I used the Go with the Flow stencil and the same color combo to blend. The little hearts are from the Little Bits – Hearts die.

The inner most layer, I used the Mini Slim Stencil – Wonky Dots again, this time in Cupcake. And a Cilantro frame from the Mini Slim Thin Frame Cutting Plate. These trifold cards are always fun to make in the end and I imagine getting one would be thrice as nice! ๐Ÿ™‚

Next up, I have a pink little number with a new friend from the Tickled Pink Stamp & Stencil Combo. The tropically delightful stencil is the new Mini Slim Stencil – Tropical Leaves. For this one I blended on Cookie Monster, Sprinkles, Granny Smith, Cilantro and Pineapple. I used the Mini Slim Trifold Template + Dies – Hexagon to create the window, but this time wonky.

I also used the Masking Stencils – Mini Slim Scalloped Rectangle again. I guess I like that clean edging look. Who knew? ๐Ÿ™‚

The sentiment is from the same set and you open it up to find a rainbowtasticness surprise! This one is a Top Fold Mini Slim. Which, unless you have a lot of 12 x 12 heavy weight cardstock around, I’d definitely recommend ordering a pack from TE to use. I do not have 12 x 12, so I am so glad they started offering these. ๐Ÿ™‚ย  AND the tri-fold pre-made cards: ๐Ÿ’›!!

At first I was just going to rainbow the Flamingo, and then I thought–might as well go all in with the background too! So I lined up the stencil to match the front and did just that! ๐Ÿ™‚

This one is definitely different, but I like it! I would either add a note to the back or just sign my name with a quick note somewhere inside here. ๐Ÿ™‚

Also, you may have noticed the new Mini Slim Scalloped Envelope Liner! AHHHHHHH– love this die! The TE Creative team did such fun things with it that you definitely want to check it out. For some reason, I went very basic using some Toffee to line the envelope. But stencils and colors are all so fun to add a little more spunk!

Here’s the details from TE:

Summer FUN from Taylored Expressions!

Taylored Expressions has a New Release today and it is full of SUMMER fun, Glittery Goodness, COOL things and cute little treats! ๐Ÿ™‚ There are a rainbow of TE colors available in Loose Glitter (Lollipop, Cherry Pop, Candy Corn, Peapod, Cookie Monster, Jelly Donut, Pearl, Silver, Gold and Oreo) now and it all can be adhered and enjoyed with the new Glitter Grab!

First up, I used the new Sweet Scoops and Building Blocks-Cool Additions. These Sweet Scoops are so easy to use and quite frankly, make you want a scoop or two! ๐Ÿ™‚

You can create any ice cream flavor your sweet tooth desires! I made Mint Chocolate Chip (Mint Julep and Mushroom) and Sorbet and one of my favorites was how the Vanilla turned out! I never thought I could stamp white ice cream and with Sea Salt and a touch of Mushroom for the shading–success! ๐Ÿ™‚ To give a little extra fun and sparkle, I used the new Pearl Glitter from TE. Alllllllllllllll the colors are so dynamic, but somehow I used the most muted one in Pearl. Ha! It just gives a subtle kick, which is what I wanted on these yummy scoops.

I added everything to the Pierced Lattice Cutting Plateย background that I trimmed out with the Petite Scallop Rectangle Stacklets, of course. And allย  the fun sentiment blocks are from the Building Blocks-Cool Additions.

Next up, I used the Anything is Popsicle Stencil and Stamp Combo along with the Sun’s Out dies to create this totally chill card. I think those popsicles were begging for shades, so I answered the call ๐Ÿ˜Ž. I glittered those cuties up with the new Oreo Glitter and let me tell you, in person, SUCH fun to see that little pop of sparkle!

This fun sentiment is from the new Mini Strips- Hello Summer. I just embossed that in White on Oreo Cardstock. The simple background I created using the Mini Simple Strips-Hello Summer . I used some Lemon Meringue ink in combination with Cookie Monster. I die cut the panel all out the Mini Slim Stitched Rectangle Stacklets. This one would be fun and easy to make several cards to mail out this summer!

Lastly, we gave out a few ice cream gift cards to our little friends here, so I created these little Gift Card holders using the Tag Pocket.ย  For these, I used the larger Sweet Scoops Ice Cream cone and mixed up my flavors even more to create Rainbow Sherbet. TOO fun! I love all those little extra stamps for the ice cream cones and the shading on the scoops. They add soooo much so simply to the already stenciled parts. I’m a big fan of the stencils to create these fun shades of ice cream.

Hello Summer! This sentiment is from the Anything is Popsicle set.

I tried to keep these pretty simple because I was limited on time, but I think they would be super fun with the new TE Glitters and some googley eyes too!

I added a little bit of twine to each. Also, I embossed the Lots of Stars folder (that is retired–eek sorry!) but the Lots of Dots Embossing Folder is a great stand in. Gives it that little extra pizzazz fairly easily. ๐Ÿ™‚

And now, I want some ice cream in a cone again! ๐Ÿ™‚

Here’s the scoop from TE: (see what I did there? bwwwaaaahaaahaaa!)

Get the glitter party started with our All That Glitters Glamour Box! This bundle is a $60 value for $50 and is available now through Sunday, June 20th. Taylored Expressions: A2 vs. Mini Slim

Happy Tuesday–just popping in to share some Taylored Expressions fun today! Today, the TE Team is focusing on inspiration to show how to use one product to create cards in two different sizes (both A2 and Mini Slim).

First up today, I am using the new Counting Candles Layering Stencils.ย I decided to first make this on a Mini Slim card and so I used both the Mini Slim Stitched Stacklets and the Mini Slim Petite Scallop Stacklets.

These Counting Candles Layering Stencils make quick work of a festive card with fun results quite easily. And I am allllll about the easy! ๐Ÿ™‚ You can pick a bunch of different colored inks and create a fun result using several or you can keep it simple with just a few! I went pastel crazy! ๐Ÿ™‚ The new little blending brushes make it even easier to do.

I added a little Stickles to the center of the flames too and in person, you can see it much better than in the photo. ๐Ÿ™‚

Next up, I did a similar candle approach but this time I cut it out and decided I was going to make a shaker card. I offset the circles this time, just to mix it up a bit.

I colored Millie from the Millie’s Birthday Bash stamp set with Copic Markers.

Nothing says Happy Birthday quite like a shaker card, right? โค I just offset the circles and used the TE Foam Strips to create the shaker window, adding the Rainbow Sprinkles, Sparkly Stars and Hearts. Easy peesy.

Oh and all the little sentiments and details are from the Counting Candles Add-On Stamp set.

These both turned out Birthdaytastic and the stencil works wonderfully on both sizes of cards: A2 and Mini Slim. It’s fun to see them side by side in the end. ๐Ÿ™‚

All these products are available now over at Taylored Expressions.

And here’s the scoop:

If any of the main products that the TE Creative Team used on their projects caught your eye, we are making them available to you for 30% off through this Sunday, May 9thย or while supplies last.ย Here are the sets included in the sale:

Taylored Expressions: Teacher and Grad Release!

One of the cards I make the most is Teacher cards and so for me, it’s a fun day atย  Taylored Expressions –there are lots of new goodies to celebrate all the Teachers and Grads in our lives! ๐Ÿ™‚

First up today, I am using the new Full Circle-School. I stamped it, heat embossed it and then I die cut it with one of my most used stacklets for such occasions: Apple Stacklets.

I decided this would be fun on a Mini Slim card and so I used both the Mini Slim Stitched Stacklets and the Mini Slim Petite Scallop Stacklets. I also stamped the Full Circle-School in tone-on-tone with Toffee ink on Toffee cardstock. I seem to use Toffee often on Teacher cards? I think that might be because I like it with the Red Pepper apple. ๐Ÿ™‚

I added a bit of twine to the stem after I blended on some green inks. I white heat embossed the sentiment on vellum and stitched that on the panel. Before I adhered everything to the card base, I decided to blend on some Sugar Cube ink to the Oreo top fold Mini Slim card. To finish it off, I used the new Cosmic Bits!

Next up, I thought I’d veer from a typical Teacher card color palette. I love how this turned out! I used the new I Pick You stamp and stencil.

I used Confetti Cake with the stencil and stamped the apples with Granny Smith, Cupcake and Toffee. I love these stamps that have the coordinating little dies for cutting out the little apples (or pumpkins, snowmen, etc. in the past). Pretty sure I definitely need to order another little apple die.

I thought this was a fun and a slightly different way to put on the sentiment. Of course, in true Jill style, I used the same sentiment on both cards today! ๐Ÿ˜‚ I don’t know how I do that, but I do it all the time. However, I promise there are lots of great sentiments in this set besides the one I used, twice! haaaa!

Oh and I stamped the Inside Scoop- Teacher on the inside and completely forgot to take a photo of that. Another thing I do all the time! ๐Ÿ™‚ Ack!

And BONUS TIME!! There is a NEW Big Grumpy Grad download to make some fun celebratory cards for Graduation and really, for anytime. There are a few sentiments that work for everyday congrats too, which I love!

I was laughing so heard when I read this one! ๐Ÿ™‚

I colored Big Grumpy-Bear with Copic Markers and then masked off this background area before using the Confetti Toss stencil and Stickles-Nebula paste. I love that Nebula paste because it has these cute little stars in it too! ๐Ÿ™‚

Next up, I thought it would be fun to use this sentiment. Also usuable for so many occasions. ๐Ÿคฃ Congrats you took out the trash! Here’s a card! I kid, but you know what I’m saying. I love this little bit of snark for everyday or for those Grads with the same silly sense of humor too. ๐Ÿ™‚

I made this background with the Masking Stencils-Stars (I used it and shifted it around a bit to use it again) and the Diagonal Stitched Square Stacklets. So fun! ๐Ÿ™‚

This sentiment is a trip. And if you haven’t used these Free Big Grumpy sentiments before, it is very easy to do. Check out the information for printing and stamping them over on the TE Blog and website.

I colored Big Grumpy on both with Copic Markers.ย  These two are some of my all time faves of my TE stash.

All these products are available now over at Taylored Expressions.

Taylored Expressions: Easter Release

Today is a Hoppyย  Day over at Taylored Expressions! ๐Ÿ™‚ Spring is coming and there is a new release from Taylored Expressions today! Let’s Hop to it, shall we?

First up, I thought I’d share this card using the newย  Bunch of Bunnies and Oh Hoppy Day! Eeeeep these cute littleย  Bunch of Bunnies that are shaped wood bunnies are just the cutest and I want to put them on all the things for Easter!

For this card, I stenciled on the bunny Oh Hoppy Day background quite simply using Sugar Cube ink. I painted the Bunch of Bunnies just using white acrylic paint. After that, I decided which sentiment I wanted to use from the Mini Strips: Easter and paired it with a bunny of many colors (using Copic Markers for the stripes) to complete the sentiment. โค

I would send this card out any time of year, not just at Easter. ๐Ÿ™‚ The little Pom Pom tails though–too cute!

Next up,ย  I have the new Jesus Script die with the Jesus Script backer die. I paired this with the sweet Pierced Lattice Cutting Plate (which I feel I am going to be usingย  A LOT!) and a few little flowers from the Spring Wreath dies.

I even used Lavender Glaze for this card because it seemed the right thing to do with this sentiment.

The sentiment strip is from Simple Strips: Easter Blessings. This new Simple Strips is full of lovely sentiments to use this Easter.

Next up, I have the fun new Playful Plaid Background. I decided I would stamp and emboss it in white and the use the Stencil Strips-Clouds to create another layer to the background. I don’t really know how these ideas come to be as I am making things, but voila in the end, here they are! ๐Ÿ™‚ ha!

This new background is indeed playful and I can see using for a variety of occasions. Baby cards, winter cozy cards, well, pretty much anything!

I decided I wanted to use the Peep sentiment from theย  Mini Strips-Easter. And once you choose a Peep sentiment, what is one to do? Well, Peeps of course–aka The Little Bits Marshmallow Bunnies dies!ย  I love the iconic Peeps at Easter. And while I am not a super fan of eating them, per say, I do enjoy having one little yellow bunny Peep and biting off their ears.ย  shhhhh.ย  Oh for Peeps sake! ๐Ÿ™‚

This would be a card which would be able to be produced in multiples fairly easily. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Next up, I have the card that might possibly be my favorite of this release. This card uses the new Springtime Smiles set. And naturally, it includes the oh so cutest little stamps. I had to use this little bunny tooshie because it’s too adorable!

For the card itself, I die cut and layered up lots of the TE Mini Slim goodies. I used the Petite Scallop Mini Slim Stacklets and theย  Stitched Mini Slim Stacklets to create these frames/layers.

I used the carrot to create a fun background, coloring those and the bunny in with Copic Markers.ย  One of my favorite parts of this card though is the inside where I used the Set the Scene-Grass stencil to create a little place to stamp this sweet sentiment. (Apparently I really like this sentiment because I didn’t even realize I used it twice til I had taken all my card photos–ha! ๐Ÿ™‚

I love nobunny butt you! Can’t even! ๐Ÿ™‚ To create this green grass, I used both Granny Smith and Cilantro.

I originally thought I’d just stamp the carrots in Candy Corn and Sweet Potato Pie to create a patterned background and then I ended up coloring in all the carrots with Copic Markers. Definitely a different look that I usually create just stamping in Oreo, but a fun change! Oh I also masked a frame around the stamping/coloring so I wouldn’t be outside the range of the Stitched Mini Slim Stacklets frame.

All these products are available now over at Taylored Expressions.

New Happy Hex Monogram Card Kit & Fun with Kids!

Happy Tuesday everyone! Hope you all had a good weekend and survived Monday! ๐Ÿ™‚

Today, we are having fun sharing the New Card Kit from ย Taylored Expressions! It’s called theย  Happy Hex Monogram Kit and it is perfect for making personalized cards to send. Or, you can make a card set and gift them! The fun little perk that they are the newer Mini Slim size makes it even more delightful.

Let’s get on with the cards! First up, I made this card just using the Happy Hex Mini Slim Stencil in the kit. I started out with one color and then moved the stencil around according, blending on a new color with a different brush in each shift. These are always like little puzzles for me to figure out and I think they are fun to try ๐Ÿ™‚

To create the panel I used the Mini Slim Stitched Rectangle Stacklets, which is from a previous TE Release.

I added the sentiment fro the Happy Hex set to simply to finish it off. I think it turned out fun and I there are so many options to make here!

Next up, I used the Hexagon Dies from the die set in the kit called Happy Hex. I cut out all different colors of TE Cardstock and spent too long arranging them. ha! I couldn’t decide how I wanted it to lay out, so I’m glad in the end I finally made up my mind. And now, I have these examples to follow, if I want to make more. ๐Ÿ™‚

I added in the graphic hex stamps in Oreo to mix it up. I’m digging the end result, especially after being away from making them for a few days. Funny how that works, right?

For the stickers on these, I heat embossed the sentiments on them. You can also use just Oreo and let them dry well or use Staz On. However, I forgot how much I don’t like the smell of Staz On, so I did not go that route. (I have to laugh that is my reasoning though.)

I added a few Clear Bits to each card too to finish them off in the end.

With all these everyday sentiments to choose from, making a set was fun and simple to do.

I made a little tag using the Typewriter Alpha set and the Stitched Tag Stacklets. I added a few Hexagons and some twine and done! The clear box comes with the kit, so it couldn’t come together more smoothly in the end. ๐Ÿ™‚

Envelopes in fun colors (also included in the kit) and it is a gift ready to go!

Below are my supplies for these cards, but be SURE to keep scrolling for some cuteness BELOW! ๐Ÿ™‚

Stencil Hex Card:

Set of Cards:

All these products are available now over at Taylored Expressions.

Here’s the scoop on the Hex Kit:

Hereโ€™s everything included the Happy Hex Monogram Kit โ€“ which retails for $48:

  • Happy Hex Mini Slim Background stamp
  • Happy Hex die collection
  • Clearly Crafty Happy Hex Add-ons stamp set
  • Clearly Crafty Typewriter Alpha stamp set
  • Happy Hex Mini Slim stencil
  • 6 Sugar Cube Top Fold Mini Slim Card Bases
  • 6 Custom Envelope Seals
  • 6 Colored Mini Slim Envelopes
  • 1 Mini Slim Clear Card Box
  • Packaged in a zippered pouch with a custom kit label

Next up, something super fun, especially for my kiddo! ๐Ÿ™‚ There is a fun new kit for Kids for Valentine’s Day too! This kit has the sweetest little illustrations that are both punny and fantastic to color! My son loves to have the whole paneled colored apparently. I have to giggle at that!

Here he is in his PJs crafting over his Winter Break. He is so excited about giving these out and wants to order more! I might need to get marker refills first. ha! ๐Ÿ™‚

E decided to adhere the stickers that are included in the kit to the inside for his classmates. Or, as he likes to say, as the “prize”! Turns out this was actually Taylor’s intention for the stickers, so perfect he thought the same! โค

I am hoping he will let me color one or two myself.ย  shhhhh ๐Ÿ˜‰

Here he is with all the panels colored, before he assembled them into the precut little “card base/envelopes”.

We wanted to show the stickers could also be used to decorate the outsides too. The kit come with the Happy Valentine’s Day stamp as well as To and From and sweet little hearts. Of course, E decided to omit extra hearts because he’s in Fourth Grade now and a boy. ha! ๐Ÿ™‚ Also, they generally ask them not to include a “To” on their valentines, so he omitted that little stamp.

Here he is with his collection all ready to go! Now, he just needs to make the rest and he’ll be ready! They are so easy and fun to color, he is looking forward to it. Getting to use Mom’s Copic Markers is also a big hit!

He’ll likely take them to school in these TE Storage Boxes along with the case. โค

It’s the perfect year to have your kids makes their Valentines. I’m guessing we aren’t alone in that we are home a lot more and it’s great to have something creative and productive to do together. And by together, I mean, Mom gets all the supplies out and in the end, does most of the clean up. ๐Ÿ˜‰ But I am ok with that because it doesn’t involve any kind of screen time. Hooray!

E’s Kid’s Valentine Kit Cards:

Hereโ€™s the scoop:

TE Individual Kit Pieces!

Happy New Week! Anyone else sort of spinning in circles like me? Ha!

Well anyway, onto fun news instead–Today, ย Taylored Expressions is releasing products from a few kits. These products were previously only available in the kits, but now can be purchased individually at Taylored Expressions today! ๐Ÿ™‚

I’m sharing two cards I made with individual kit pieces. First up, the Frayed Edge Masking stencil from the Field Notes kits–completely versatile for ANY project! I figured I need a few more of these cards, so I created a fun double stenciled background using the Frayed Edge Masking stencilย and the Criss Cross Stencil. Of course this partnered with Big Grumpy and the Farewell 2020 Download.

I cannot have enough of these before the end of the year! haaaaaaaaaaa! ๐Ÿ™‚

So true, so true. Sorry 2020.

Next up, I used the sentiment set called Good Vibes from the Hey There Kit. This sentiment set is a fave, especially these days. Need these sentiments so much right now! ๐Ÿ™‚

I decided to make a trio of cards in hopes I’d send them out in the mail this week…they are needed elsewhere, not in my stash! ๐Ÿ™‚

Pretty straightforward–I blocked out some strips of cardstock and then die cut them with the Mini Slim Trifold Template and the Stitched Mini Slim Stacklets. This is very clean look and easy to replicate in so many different options.ย

I added some scoring to the Toffee Card bases, some stitching and some Clear Drip Drops. I love having this stack to send out! ๐Ÿ™‚

I love making a stack at time, but I often don’t think ahead like that. I am getting better though! ๐Ÿ™‚

Christmas Release from Taylored Expressions

It feels like we just celebrated the Autumn release, but as you know, the holidays come in hot and fast and before you know it, we have no cards made! You’re in luck because today we are celebrating the new (and available!) Christmas Release from Taylored Expressions today, October 6th! It’s the biggest release! Over 40 new products!! ๐Ÿ™‚

First up,ย  I thought I’d get the party started with a little HO HO HO! ๐Ÿ™‚ This card features the new Candy Cane Stripe Stencil along with the new Fill in the Blank & St. Nick Cling & Clear Combo. I always love the sets with the multiples (snowmen, pumpkins, and now Santas!) and this fun Candy Cane Stripe Stencil is a fast fave! ๐Ÿ™‚

These little cuties and their faces! Gah! So cute! This worked out really well for a Mini Slim card. I also used the 1″ TE Masking Stripe Stencil.

Next up, always a favorite: Big Grumpy Christmas!

Silent Night…Good. haaaaaaa!!!! I so feel this Big Grumpy. Especially when my son was younger. I just really wanted to sleep through the night. So. Bad. ๐Ÿ™‚

Funny enough, I kept moving all these images around and low and behold, unbeknownst to me, I ended up with mittens in my cocoa! Oooops!! ๐Ÿ™‚ Shhhhh. For the background, I used the previously released Twinkling Lights Embossing Folder. Big Grumpy gets me. โค

Next up, let’s switch it up to some retro Christmas fun, shall we? This is new Beautiful Baubles Layering Stencils. This one is fun and makes me think of the ornaments from when I was a kid.

A totally different color pallete for me, which I am always a little proud of–stretching those color muscles. I love the font in the Add On set–the retroness–soooooo fun!! ๐Ÿ™‚

These would be easy to make a bunch of fairly quickly. And we all know that we need this ability come the Holidays! ๐Ÿ™‚

Next up, I have another one of my faves: Gus & Gertie! This time, they are on a Gus and Gertie Holiday Adventure!

So stinkin’ cute! I thought a shaker would be fun! So I added allllll the things! ha! ๐Ÿ™‚ I also embossed the background with the Cross stitch Embossing folder. This embossing folder is always a go to for any wintery card. ๐Ÿ™‚

I tied a little silver thread to the banner so Gertie could pull it along! This is a fun one in person because is super cute and well, shaker. โค

Next up, let’s revisit the cutie Santas, shall we? The St. Nick Cling & Clear Combo creates all these little Santa heads, so you can just go on creating and creating, 1-2-3! I used the stencil in the background. It’s intended to fit between the Santa Heads if you stamp them all on a panel, but I thought I’d mix it up a bit and use it on the background several times over.

I added a few of the TE Clear Bits and boom! Done. (If you’re on the fence, the clear bits are a must!)

And last, but definitely not least, I used Tag Team Christmas set to create these fun tags. I can never have enough.

This year, I added some stars from the Starry Background cutting plate and stamped them with the patterns in the set. The patterns fit perfectly!

I went with a green and pinks color palette, throwing in a little Sprinkles for fun! I can’t wait to use all these. They crack me up! ๐Ÿ™‚

Fall Release from Taylored Expressions

Happy FALL! Oooooohhhh it is so my favorite for all the reasons–except Pumpkin Spice. I don’t do Pumpkins Spice. haaaaa! I am happy for those that do though–THIS is your time! But I digress ๐Ÿ™‚ This release, albeit a bit smaller, is definitely a fave because I just love making Fall cards. The colors are always so warm and cozy to me.

All these new products are available from Taylored Expressions today, September 22nd!

First up, I have this card using the new Modern Tree–which I absolutely โค ! I can’t wait to make more cards with this for so many occasions. I think it is extremely versatile. Birthdays, Thinking of You, Sympathy….and of course, FALL! Like I did below. ahhhhh!

For this I first cut out a panel with the Mini Slim Petite Scallop die. Then, I stamped the tree stem in Chocolate Truffle on the two angles and then did all the other colors (Mulled Wine, Sweet Potato and Honey) with the Layering Stencil.

I added some stitching, the twine and then this sweet sentiment from the Handlettered Thanksgiving set. I wish I had made a bunch of these all at once. How many times have I said that? ๐Ÿ™‚

Next up, I made this fun little Pumpkin Pouch! This little felt number arrives all cut out and ready for you to make. It doesn’t get any easier than this, my friends. I think these would be perfect for your Thanksgiving table this year.ย  You could make little tags/placecards for each guest and it would then act as a sweet little gift too.

For this tag I used the previously released Apple Stacklets and the new Tag Team-Thanksgiving set. I used several different ink colors and all the little leaf stamps. So fun! ๐Ÿ™‚

You can find all my supplies and links to the Taylored Expressions Shop below.

Also, here’s the inside scoop: The promo this week, September 22-27–while supplies last, will be $5 off the Modern Tree Stamp & Stencil Combo (reg. priced at $35).ย

Happy Birthday, Taylored Expressions!

Today is the day to celebrate Taylored Expresssions Birthday!! Hooray!! Happy Birthday TE! Happy Dozen!! ๐Ÿฅณ

All these new partytastic products are available from Taylored Expressions today, September 8th! Yay!

First up, I have a sweet little birthday card featuring the new Millie’s Birthday Bash. How cute is Millie in this new set, sneaking some cake?!

Eeeep! I colored her with Copics and die cut her out. I used the sentiments from Millie’s Birthday Bash and from Tag Team Birthday.

I added allllll the shaker bits too, to make it a REAL party and stamped all the festive little images from the Tag Team Birthday in lots of colors on the back of the shaker window space. I created this window with the previously released Mini Slim Trifold Template + Dies – Square. It worked out well! ๐Ÿ™‚

Next up, I made a fun party card using the new Bokeh Stencil Background. This stencil has so many fun things ahead! Lots of possibilities. I also used the Building Blocks – Happy Additions. The Building Blocks are so fantastic to just use for EVERYTHING!!

For this Bokeh, I did the first layer in Sugar Cube and that creates sort of a base for effect when you blend color over top. It’s pretty cool in person. ๐Ÿ™‚ At the end, I blended Salt Water Taffy over the top of that, and it just sort of brought out a little more pop. It is definitely not apparent in the photos, but thought I’d mention.

The Happy is stamped in an ombre effect, using the two colored inks. The TE inks always play nicely for this technique! Give it a try if you haven’t. ๐Ÿ™‚

Next, I have this sweet little birthday card with these awesome sentiments from Tag Team Birthday all stamped to create the background. I did this free style with an acrylic block and just eyeballing it. I can’t say if I’d ever get this good of a result ever again using his technique, but this block font in the Tag Team Birthday lends itself nicely to making it happen! ๐Ÿ™‚

I used these new little critters from the Life of the Party set. I created the windows with some vellum, Sugar Cube, On the Dot-Mini Slim Stencil and the Stitched Circle Stacklets. They turned out fun and I hope I remember to do this again! ๐Ÿ™‚

I colored the cute critters with Copic Markers.

For this next card, I used the new Candles Layering Stencil and the sentiment from Counting Candles Add-Ons. I love that this could be used so quickly to make cards in bulk! I actually should really be doing that ASAP! ๐Ÿ™‚ The easy layers of the stencils make it so fun to see the quick results.

The layering stencils include the festive stars that can all be added in yet another color– Go Crazy! Mix it up! I kept mine pretty tame though–haaaa! ๐Ÿ™‚

Birthday cards is something you can never have too many of! So to enjoy making them is key! I love to color, but sometimes you just need a stack of cards ready to pull from. These are them–Ba Bam! :
