Crafty Hugs from Simon Says Stamp!

Today I am joining the fun over at Simon Says Stamp for the new Crafty Hugs release!! It’s sure to be packed with lots of crafty fun!

I am using the NEW SSS die called Etched Linear Heart and you can find it HERE. The sentiment I used is from Greetings Mix 1. ❀

I die cut a bunch of the Etched Linear HeartsΒ in different colored cardstocks and put them all together here before stitching them in. This vertical sentiment fit perfectly in many ways! πŸ™‚

Here are the Simon Says Stamp products and others I used again:Β

Sunny Days Ahead!

Today I am joining the fun over at Simon Says Stamp for the new Sunny Days Ahead release!! It’s a release to celebrate all the season is bringing!

I am using the NEW SSS Stencil called Grad Caps Stencil and you can find it HERE. I also used SSS Basic Rectangles dies–which really are a staple on my desk. πŸ™‚

I used Nuvo Glitter Paste (find it HERE) for the sparkle on the stencil after I blended on some light blue ink. It sparkles in such a fun way in person, but photos never quite capture it! πŸ™‚

I also used Concord & 9th’s Simple Serif Alpha Dies andΒ Paper Smooches New Beginnings 2 (for the small sentiment).

I think this turned out fun and a little different than a typical grad card. I am looking forward to popping in the mail next month. πŸ™‚

Exciting Time!

If you haven’t already, be sure to check out the NEW March RELEASE from Paper Smooches!Β

This card is made with the new super sweet and swank Abode set–how fun are these chairs!? gah!

I think this little set is delightful to use and I love the fun size! πŸ™‚

I colored these chairs with Copic markers and created a background using the Autumn Stencil (*bonus points for using a seasonal stencil non-seasonally, right?) as a stencil to mask in a pattern from the Essential Stencil. I thought this would be a fun card to send to someone moving or buying a new home. πŸ™‚ This sweet sentiment is from New Beginnings 2.

Be sure to check out all of the new Paper Smooches March Release!

Hope your March has been a great one so far! πŸ™‚

Thanks for stopping by!

Simon Says Stamp: Love You More!

There is a New Release available over at Simon Says Stamp HERE–This release is called: Love You More! I used the new Wedding Rings dies HERE! Perfect for a wedding card, engagement or an anniversary celebration!! Or you can even use these in fun alternate ways! πŸ˜‰

I cut all these strips and then weaved them through the die cut SSS Wedding Rings. This sentiment is a great one from the Paper Smooches set: New Beginnings 2. I added some score lines and stitching to polish it all off! πŸ™‚

I thought this turned out quite sweet and really, it was pretty quick and simple to make overall.

A quick recap:

Enjoy the Journey

Hooray for Friday! πŸ™‚

Today’s Paper Smooches card is a nod to Dad and SUMMER! πŸ˜‰

For this card panel, I cut several strips of red cardstock and adhered it all to a piece of copy paper, alternating strips of white cardstock along the way. (I don’t measure the strips width, I just eyeball it.) I trimmed all the edges to make it *square* and then die cut the Paper Smooches Sailboat into the center. I always hold my breath a little when I cut into something that took some time to lay up. Truth be told, it wouldn’t be tragic to recreate the panel, just time. πŸ™‚ I then die cut the Sailboat from different colored cardstocks and inlaid it all. I think this turned out fun! πŸ™‚I stamped the sentiment simply and trimmed it out, before adhering with foam adhesive and polishing off the whole thing with some simple stitching. A great card for Father’s Day this year!
