Here is the WHOLE Blog list to hop around to! Be sure to check out all the fun:

I have many things to send and share with others, so I have packaged them up into these MYSTERY boxes below. *Disclaimer: I have found more goodies after I took this photo, so I am now thinking I will get one BIGGER box and pick one winner for a full bounty! I’ll be heading to the Post Office next week to get a new box! 🙂 (Please note that the winner must have a US mailing address.)

If you are a new stamper or a seasoned stamper, I’m sure you will find a few things you like in the box for sure. There is a variety of styles and manufacturers that I have collected over the course of the last year (or two). It’s mostly stamps and dies, maybe a few this and thats too. Honestly, I’m thinking the box will be pretty packed. And anything you don’t like, I just ask you share it forward with someone that does. ❤

**All you need to do is add a comment below telling me:

What your favorite kind of card to make is? Birthday? Holiday? Get Well? Just because? etc.

And/OR

What is your favorite style of card? CAS? Floral? Layers? Graphic? etc.

My favorite cards to make are funny and graphic *Just Because* cards. But I love to see others styles, especially if it’s not something I could ever pull off making myself! 🙂

You have until January 10th to comment and I will post a random winner next weekend, January 11/12! And I will mail it out the following week! Hooray!

If you’re interested in following me along on Instagram I’m here @jilldhawkins and of course, on my blog here at FastestTurtle.wordpress.com! You an subscribe in the sidebar over there >> . (I do post often throughout the month.)

Thank you again for being so fantastic and lovely. Wishing you all a wonderful 2020!

Thanks for stopping by! 🙂

Take care–Jill 🙂

This Spellbinders Small Die of the Month is  Kaleidoscope Snowflake and you can find it HERE. There is a new Small Die of the Month EVERY month!

I thought this turned out so delicate, which I don’t think is my usual gig?  😉
I just used  silver thread to thread thru the snowflakes and added two layers of foam tape to give the frame I cut out with my craft knife a little lift.

The sentiments are from Lawn Fawn’s sentiment set: Offset Says Christmas HERE.

Next up, I have the Spellbinders Large Die of the Month! This one is my FAVORITE!! I mean, HOW CUTE is this Santa?! Gah! Adorable.  And I thought he wanted to be on trend in Buffalo Plaid 😉 . This one is called Santa’s Helpers  and you can find it HERE.

I just think he is cutie patootie!! And I thought this sweet sentiment from Simon Says Stamp Greetings Mix 1, Believe in You (HERE) was perfect to stamp and give this card to our son at Christmas. ❤

The stencil is called Hot Dot from Paper Smooches! ❤

Such a sweet little guy! The Large Die of the Month is available HERE!  🙂

________________________________________________________________________

There is one little bonus card from me this month featuring the add on and it is called SANTA’S REINDEER ETCHED DIES – SANTA’S HELPERS ADD-ON SET and you can find that one HERE!

You can add this little cutie to the same body that Santa has on the above card, just tweeking it slightly.

This sweet sentiment is from Ellen Hutson’s Oh Deer set. (I think this set is retired?)

25 Days of Christmas Tags!

Today I am sharing cards made for my sweet friend Tracey McNeely’s 25 Days of Christmas Tags!! How fun is that? I used all these great holiday stamps from Technique Tuesday today! They can be found HERE!

These first two are more “traditional” holiday colors.

For all of these, I cut/used small cardstock strips glued down to a piece of regular ol’ paper. Then I die cut the tags out from each before stamping and heat embossing the sentiments.

^^That is one of my favorite sentiments! 🙂 LOL!

These last two are a fun take on Christmas colors. 🙂

For all my tags, I used various sentiments from Technique Tuesday: Spirit of December, Dear Santa, Christ is Born, and Classic Christmas Sentiments. The Classic Christmas Sentiments set is such a staple set! And of course, the Dear Santa set is my laughable fun fave! 🙂 (The tiny stars and snowflakes are all from the fun TT planner sets HERE.)

Be sure to hop over and check out the new stuff from Technique Tuesday HERE!   🙂

The Big Technique Tuesday Progressive Sale of good finds is still going on and the savings is even bigger! The sale is discounting many awesome products on their way to retirement. Grab them before they are gone HERE! (Be sure to read the codes HERE and type them in for great savings!)

with sympathy

Hello! Today I’m popping in with a card using Paper Smooches NEW November die: With Sympathy Die.

I’m sure I’m not alone when I say I struggle with this type of card. I’m pretty sure it’s because I make them when needed vs. ahead of time. At the time I need them,  nothing seems appropriate. But ahead of time, these turned out lovely and will hopefully express our love when we send them.

For these, I masked off my card panel and blended on some Distress Inks to all of them. I even have the forethought to write them down to share below!

Distress Ink color combos: The Orange-ish one: Abandoned Coral, Ripe Persimmon, and Mustard Seed. The Yellow one: Squeezed Lemonade, Mustard Seed, Carved Pumpkin and Dried Marigold. The Blue one: Salty Ocean, Cracked Pistachio, Peacock Feathers. It would probably be helpful if I kept track of combos that work lovely together, but I don’t. I just wing it every time. With Distress Inks, you can generally fix any blend gone awry anyway. 🙂

For this card I used: New With Sympathy die and the previously released Paper Smooches set, Best Buds. I white heat embossed the flowers with Versamark and Hero Arts White embossing powder. It really is the perfect die for these cards. I’m planning to make some more like these to have on hand.

All the November release from Paper Smooches can be found HERE! It’s a sweet release! You’ve been warned 🙂 🙂 ! Also, be sure to follow all the fun over on the Paper Smooches Blog HERE!

Have a GREAT weekend! ❤

Thanks for stopping by!

Holiday Cards

Welcome to the weekend! Hope you are looking forward to some fun these couple of days! 🙂

I’m popping in to share a few more cards using new stamps from Technique Tuesday today! They can be found HERE!

This lovely festive new set is: Barberry Stamp Set. I also used sentiments from: Spirit of December and Dear Santa. The Dear Santa set is definitely a well-loved one. LOL! 🙂

I stamped and colored the berries with Copic markers on Neenah Desert Storm cardstock. For the card base, I used some sparkly washi my sweet friend gave me. It’s from X-Press It: Deco Tape Copper Glitter ! Helllllllllo sparkly goodness! Also, while I was there, I saw lots of other tapes that I’m going *need*! Cork!? And…Shiny Skinny Tape HERE!  Good gracious! Ok, back to the card! 🙂 Got a little sidetracked by the sparkly there for a minute! haaa! (Enabling friends are trouble, aren’t they?  ❤ ❤  )

I added a few different touches to each of them, but I am glad I made three at once. I keep saying I need to do this WAY more! 🙂

To finish them off, I added a few black dots, my favorite Pretty Pink Posh Sequins and some stitching. Simple and festive! 🙂

Be sure to hop over and check out the new stuff from Technique Tuesday HERE!   🙂

OH–and while you’re THERE….check out this MASSIVE sale of good finds! It’s a Progressive Sale discounting many awesome products on their way to retirement. Grab them before they are gone HERE! (Be sure to read the codes HERE and type them in for great savings!)

A few of my faves: Smirthday Stamp Set, Clipboard Dies, Memo Pad dies, Chicks Rule, Fan-tasticFavorite Human, and Say What?!. But I have many more! SO MANY! LOL. Always, right?

And most importantly, enjoy your weekend! 🙂 Thanks for stopping in!

Hello Hello Hello! :)

Hooray for Happy Friday! I’m popping in with another card using Paper Smooches NEW November goodies! 🙂

For this card I used:  New Layered Hello Dies! I’m pretty sure by now you can feel my love for these dies! ❤️ One of my favorite cards to make is “Hello”–those no reason cards but just because.  Perfection for those! 🙂

I die cut the “background” hello from three different colors. Then layered up the white hello on top. I adhered all three down to a scored panel and added some quick stitching. I just love these clean cards! 🙂

All the November release from Paper Smooches can be found HERE! Just love those Baby Birds! 🙂

It just started “snowing” here today–and by snow, I mean the tiniest little flakes EVER! 🙂 But Brrrrrr! Have a cozy weekend all!

Thanks for stopping by!

This first card I made with the new: Leading Ladies – Photo Lady by Brandi Kincaid

How much do I love this lady’s shoes?! A LOT! Such fun!! I colored all these ladies shoes with Copics. I added some black and white striped washi to the card base and some stitching to the panel to complete the card. This is a fave!! 🙂
