25 Days of Christmas Tags!

Today I am sharing cards made for my sweet friend Tracey McNeely’s 25 Days of Christmas Tags!! How fun is that? I used all these great holiday stamps from Technique Tuesday today! They can be found HERE!

These first two are more “traditional” holiday colors.

For all of these, I cut/used small cardstock strips glued down to a piece of regular ol’ paper. Then I die cut the tags out from each before stamping and heat embossing the sentiments.

^^That is one of my favorite sentiments! πŸ™‚ LOL!

These last two are a fun take on Christmas colors. πŸ™‚

For all my tags, I used various sentiments from Technique Tuesday: Spirit of December, Dear Santa, Christ is Born, and Classic Christmas Sentiments. The Classic Christmas Sentiments set is such a staple set! And of course, the Dear Santa set is my laughable fun fave! πŸ™‚ (The tiny stars and snowflakes are all from the fun TT planner sets HERE.)

with sympathy

Hello! Today I’m popping in with a card using Paper Smooches NEW November die: With Sympathy Die.

I’m sure I’m not alone when I say I struggle with this type of card. I’m pretty sure it’s because I make them when needed vs. ahead of time. At the time I need them,Β  nothing seems appropriate. But ahead of time, these turned out lovely and will hopefully express our love when we send them.

For these, I masked off my card panel and blended on some Distress Inks to all of them. I even have the forethought to write them down to share below!

Distress Ink color combos: The Orange-ish one: Abandoned Coral, Ripe Persimmon, and Mustard Seed. The Yellow one: Squeezed Lemonade, Mustard Seed, Carved Pumpkin and Dried Marigold. The Blue one: Salty Ocean, Cracked Pistachio, Peacock Feathers. It would probably be helpful if I kept track of combos that work lovely together, but I don’t. I just wing it every time. With Distress Inks, you can generally fix any blend gone awry anyway. πŸ™‚

For this card I used: New With Sympathy die and the previously released Paper Smooches set, Best Buds. I white heat embossed the flowers with Versamark and Hero Arts White embossing powder. It really is the perfect die for these cards. I’m planning to make some more like these to have on hand.

All the November release from Paper Smooches can be found HERE! It’s a sweet release! You’ve been warned πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ ! Also, be sure to follow all the fun over on the Paper Smooches Blog HERE!

Have a GREAT weekend! ❀

Holiday Cards

Welcome to the weekend! Hope you are looking forward to some fun these couple of days! πŸ™‚

I’m popping in to share a few more cards using new stamps from Technique Tuesday today! They can be found HERE!

This lovely festive new set is: Barberry Stamp Set. I also used sentiments from: Spirit of December and Dear Santa. The Dear Santa set is definitely a well-loved one. LOL! πŸ™‚

I stamped and colored the berries with Copic markers on Neenah Desert Storm cardstock. For the card base, I used some sparkly washi my sweet friend gave me. It’s from X-Press It: Deco Tape Copper Glitter ! Helllllllllo sparkly goodness! Also, while I was there, I saw lots of other tapes that I’m going *need*! Cork!? And…Shiny Skinny Tape HERE!Β  Good gracious! Ok, back to the card! πŸ™‚ Got a little sidetracked by the sparkly there for a minute! haaa! (Enabling friends are trouble, aren’t they?Β  ❀ ❀  )Β

I added a few different touches to each of them, but I am glad I made three at once. I keep saying I need to do this WAY more! πŸ™‚

To finish them off, I added a few black dots, my favorite Pretty Pink Posh Sequins and some stitching. Simple and festive! πŸ™‚

Be sure to hop over and check out the new stuff from Technique Tuesday HERE!Β Β  πŸ™‚

Hello Hello Hello! :)

Hooray for Happy Friday! I’m popping in with another card using Paper Smooches NEW November goodies! πŸ™‚

For this card I used:Β  New Layered Hello Dies! I’m pretty sure by now you can feel my love for these dies! ❀️ One of my favorite cards to make is “Hello”–those no reason cards but just because. Β Perfection for those! πŸ™‚

I die cut the “background” hello from three different colors. Then layered up the white hello on top. I adhered all three down to a scored panel and added some quick stitching. I just love these clean cards! πŸ™‚

All the November release from Paper Smooches can be found HERE! Just love those Baby Birds! πŸ™‚

It just started “snowing” here today–and by snow, I mean the tiniest little flakes EVER! πŸ™‚ But Brrrrrr! Have a cozy weekend all!

Some NEW Ellen Hutson FUN!

I am way excited to share a couple of cards I made for the new Essentials by Ellen Release! It’s always so fun to see their new releases! Eeeeeeep! #mayormaynotalwayswantitALL πŸ™‚

This first card I made with the new: Leading Ladies – Photo Lady by Brandi Kincaid

This sentiment is from: Totally Random Sayings Vol. 1 by Julie Ebersole. (awesome set!)

(This name includes “Volume 1″….this may be insinuating there is going to be another volume? Oh goodness. Note to self: Start saving! πŸ™‚ )

How much do I love this lady’s shoes?! A LOT! Such fun!! I colored all these ladies shoes with Copics. I added some black and white striped washi to the card base and some stitching to the panel to complete the card. This is a fave!! πŸ™‚

For my next card, I used: Abstract Paint Strokes by Julie Ebersole.Β

This set is CRAZY versatile!! I love these kind of sets because the possibilities are endless!

This sentiment is also from: Totally Random Sayings Vol. 1 by Julie Ebersole.

I thought this was a fun take on a holiday card of trees! Paint Strokes to trees! Fun fun!

I stamped these with various Lawn Fawn and Hero Arts inks, heat embossed the sentiment and added a couple more gray cardstock strips. I finished it all off with some stitching and white gel pen details. πŸ™‚

Hello Again! :)

Happy Friday! I’m popping in with a card using Paper Smooches NEW November goodies! πŸ™‚

For this card I used: New Deco Edge Dies, New Layered Hello Dies, and the previously released Postage Stamp Dies.

I just love how this card turned out! Definitely one of my favorite kind of cards that includes a lot of white and some simple clean, designs that POP! These cards always take a little longer than you’d think to make, but in the end, ❀ them and really enjoy making them!

I added a few layers of the hello to give it some girth. πŸ™‚ I think I even doubled up on the Postage Stamp dies. ❀ These new Deco Edge dies are crazy versatile for edges, or underneath or just here as a background. They are well-loved already! πŸ™‚

All the November release from Paper Smooches can be found HERE! Such sweetness!

Have a GREAT weekend!

New from Technique Tuesday!

Happy November! I am not recovered from Halloween yet, but Happy November! πŸ™‚

Hooray for lots of new stamps and dies from Technique Tuesday today! They can be found HERE!

Today, I’m sharing a card using the new Sassy Fashion Stamp set! Isn’t this fantastic!? I just cracked up when I saw this sentiment. Yes! πŸ™‚ ❀

I stamped and colored the dresses with Copic markers. For the card base, I used some silver washi tape and patterned paper. I added some stitching on,Β  and called it a day. I couldn’t decide if I should add a few sequins, but I thought the silver sparkle was enough. πŸ™‚

Be sure to hop over and check out the new stuff from Technique Tuesday HERE! Lots of fun!Β  πŸ™‚

Hope you don’t suffer from a Halloween candy tummy ache today! πŸ˜‰ Haaaaa!
