Sometimes you just need to make a card, and you need to be on the quicker side. That was the case here. These MFT Party Patterns stamps are a go-to for something like this.
I inked the stamps, then wiped them off with a cloth. I thought it gave a fun touch. 🙂 Something a little different, but keeping this one quick and simple. I completely enjoy spending and hour + on a card when time permits, but sometimes, you just gotta rock it out. Plus, I can’t resist a one layer card…or a rainbow! 😉There is still a smidge of time to get in on the MFT Sketch Challenge #253! Don’t forget to upload your card! See you back here tomorrow for the new MFT Sketch! My card is made with the following supplies at My Favorite Things:

My Favorite Things: Summer School Session Three rolls on! Day 2.
Symmetry balanced proportions and Asymmetry The placement of non-identical forms to either side of a balancing point in a way that the two sides seem to be of the same visual weight but aren’t.
You want to pop over to the MFT Blog to be schooled. These lessons are well put together by Susan. 🙂
Here’s my take on the lesson: Asymmetry.
I’m all about symmetry in architecture. But there’s something about card making that makes it fun to rebel. 🙂
Hope you can check out all the fun on the My Favorite Things blog this week. The design teams have surely made plenty of cards to see and link to! A plethora of Inspiration!

I have been long awaiting to use this stamp set. It’s crazy versatile! 🙂 Big fan of that. I have also been trying to challenge myself. This week was One Layer cards. Fun–and wow, I save on card stock! Haaaaa! 🙂 Note to self: Stamp hybrid inks first, sentiment on top of everything. Doh.
One more note: This week on the MFT Blog, there is collaboration with Xyron! Check out my post from Monday HERE.

Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge!! #277 fires up today! 🙂
Here’s this week’s sketch:
Here is my card for the week:
I used MFT’s new Party Patterns stamp set for this square panel. I think those random shapes and squiggles are the best! So versatile! 🙂 I like that a lot. AND I also quite enjoy the other stamp set and background I used. The Birthday Wishes & Balloons (font! LOVE!) and the Balloon Strings background. When I saw that background, I knew it had to come live with me 😉
P.S. I’m a MISTI supporter. That tool really is incredible and lets me use stamps in ways I would not normally be able to… like this card. Stamping on an inlaid panel could yield even wackier results if I couldn’t double stamp them. It. Is. Awesome.
My card was made with supplies from My Favorite Things:
