Today starts Color Challenge #18 on the My Favorite Things Challenge & Inspiration blog… I can’t emphasize enough how fun these color combos are once you start working on them! 😉
We continue our collaboration with SRM Stickers this month. I went with this little bag and masked it to stamp on. Turned out sooooooo fun! 😉 SRM’s little treat bags and containers are oh so very cute. They make me want to just make treats to make cute receptacles for such! LOL 🙂
Head over to cardchallenges.com today & find out all the details! Here’s a peek: I whipped up another card for this combo. This one is for my “nephew” as he turns FIVE! Where does time go!? This is now belated, but I actually had it made before his big day. Impressive for me! ha! Hope it’s still cool to have Peeps at FIVE! Happy Birthday D!
Peep butt. Funny! 🙂

It’s another Sweet Sunday for the Sketch Challenge! I hope you have had a chance to play along! I loved the wonky panel last week….and this week, I went a lil’ rogue?! 🙂
This week’s Sketch is #261. You can check out the full post and ALL the creative cards (and link up) on the Sweet Sunday Sketch Blog. Here’s my card for the week! 🙂 I resisted every little bone in my body telling me to inlay this tag! I really wanted to “stencil” the stamping and then emboss it. and I DID! 🙂 Yea! I did inlay the circle at the top of the tag though. *wink*
The Peep from MFT makes me cookoo happy!! 🙂 I can’t believe I hadn’t stamped the little guy yet, only die cut him (a hundred times). So, what does one do then? Stamp him a couple dozen times to make up for it. Ha!! I started out making this and thinking, this would never float. I really don’t gravitate toward pastels (aka, the use of purple) ever. But hot dog: I like it, I really like it! It all comes back to the Peep. LOVE the PEEP!! 🙂 I’m branchin’ out people! LOL.
This card was made with the following supplies by My Favorite Things: Die-namics In & Out Diagonal Stitched Rectangle STAX, Stitched Trad Tag STAX, Stitched Circle STAX (dies), Candy Jar Companion (stamps), Lemon Drop, Limelight, Wild Wisteria, Black Licorice (hybrid inks), Summer Splash, Ripe Raspberry (dye inks), Smooth White (card stock), embossing pad. I mixed ink types! Livin’ on the edge. 😉
You can find all the past sketches HERE.
Thanks for swinging by for the fun today! Hope you’ll join us!

How about an extra treat today? Ok! 😉 I’m not really a purple person, but this Lavender Fields is quite awesome! I love that these challenges push me out of my comfort zone! 🙂
Is this cupcake stand not the cutest!!? Oh my word. It goes together really quick too… especially if you don’t stitch on the tiniest scallop to the bottom of each side. lol 😉 And yes, I’m addicted to the Peeps! 😉
This cupcake stand was made with the following supplies by My Favorite Things: Die-namics LLD Cupcake Stand, Die-namics Candy Jars, Die-namics Stitched Trad Tags STAX, Blueprints #19 (dies), Candy Jar Companions (stamps), (card stock) 😉

I rotated the sketch, and made a quick and fun little tag! Hope this inspires you to try something Sketchy this week 🙂As I’ve said, I just so enjoy this die set for the little bunny Peep…and wait til I get to those jellybeans! eeeeek! 😉

Sketch Challenge #216 starts today on My Favorite Things Challenge & Inspiration blog!
Here’s a peek at my card this week: (This is an odd color combo for me, but a challenge to try new things? Hooray!)
The Ride the Wave dies are fabulous! I mean, I can’t stop using them…and the Donuts! I decided I need more wave dies, that would fit comfy cozy on the top and bottom of these waves… hmmmm?…*wink wink*… 🙂 teehee 😉
Here’s the sketch 🙂 Naturally, I had to make another card with a totally different take. Sure, the wave dies are a perfect fit for this sketch…but if you don’t have the waves, what do you do? Get creative! I did that here:
I rotated the sketch, and then cut the card stock in three pieces to create that “dividing” element. I wanted to emphasize it, so I then scored the card stock. I used the Peep shaker element as the “circle”. In my mind, the circle just represents an element and it can be whatever! Be crazy! 🙂 Go literal, go loose…but just GO make something & join in! 🙂I have a major love of Peeps (the bunny versions seen here), so I had to purchase this die set for just the little bunny Peep. I may have a problem 😉
This card is made with the following supplies by My Favorite Things: In & Out Diagonal Stitched Rectangle STAX, In & Out Diagonal Stitched Square STAX, Die-namics Candy Jar (dies), CS Candy Jar Companion (stamps), Orange Fizz, Night Shift, Summer Splash, Kraft (Card Stock), Vellum, Steel Grey & Black Licorice (dye inks) 🙂
