Taylored Expressions: June Release!

Welcome to Release Day forย Taylored Expressions June Release! All the new products for June are available over at Taylored Expressions now! Yay!

My first card today features the NEW Cutting Edge Crafty stamp set. This is likely my most favorite card from this release, because this is sooooo true! haaaaa!! ๐Ÿ™‚

This is practically a spitting image of me, but with slightly smaller ears. ๐Ÿ˜‰

I colored everything with Copic Markers before layering it all onto a card panel I used the stencil to blend on some ink. (I even had to add the labels to the little ink pads! Too fun! )

Next up, is another card, perfect for sending to a creative friend!

Craftiness is Happiness! โค

I stamped all these little icons from the new set, Craftiness is Happiness. Just perfect for making crafty friends cards. And it’s slightly different from most of Taylored Expressions stamps, in that it is a clear photopolymer set and it’s part of the Clearly Crafty line of TE goodies!

Taylored Expressions Release Week: Day 3

Welcome to Day Three of Taylored Expressions Juneย Sneak Peek Week! If you missed my other two posts earlier this week,ย  I’ll link you up down below. ๐Ÿ™‚

Today, I am sharing a perfectly summer patriotic card using the new:ย  Land of the Free andย Home of the Brave sets.

I was so happy this turned out! I wasn’t sure it would work and I feel like it did! The background is made with the Stars Embossing folder and I cannot use it enough. ๐Ÿ™‚

I added the ink to the stamp and then added water to give it a loose feel. I think it stamped good onto watercolor paper. I’d have liked the blue to not blend into the red at all, but it did so minimally, I called it a win! ๐Ÿ™‚

For this card, I white heat embossed the sentiment on some TE Vellum and die cut it to overlay on the US. I added some stitching and some twine to polish it all off.

Taylored Expressions Sneak Peeks: Day 2

Welcome back to Day Two of Taylored Expressions June Release Week! If you missed my post yesterday sharing day one, I’ll link you up down below. ๐Ÿ™‚

This first card features one of the cutest new sets:ย  Floaties. โค ! That little bear is so adorable there in his little flamingo floatie! I colored them with Copic Markers. I just want to live in in this card about now!

I created the wave background using the new Build-A-Background: Waves and using several different colored TE inks! TE inks have such a nice range and always give me the look I want! ๐Ÿ™‚

I blended the sky on using Distress Oxide inks, thinking I was going to splash it with water. Until I realized I didn’t use watercolor paper and then I decided not to. Ha! So I’d have just used TE inks Lemon Meringue, Pineapple and Candy Corn if I did it again. ๐Ÿ™‚

Next up, I have a lovely blended number using the new Splash Stencil. Ahhhhh!

I adore this sentiment from Do Something Creative and pretty much live by this rule. ๐Ÿ™‚ It is rare that I don’t sit down and create something every evening. ๐Ÿ™‚ Isn’t this stencil super cool with it’s flow– Love it! ๐Ÿ™‚

I die cut heart for the sentiment. this was slightly tricky because I knew I was going to leave this reveal in the panel, but I didn’t want the heart to look stretched. So I laid it out, exposing the reveal how it would be so the die cut was exactly right. ๐Ÿ™‚

Taylored Expressions: April Release!

Welcome to Release Day forย Taylored Expressions April Release! All the new products for April are available over at Taylored Expressions now! Yay!

My first card features the NEW Color My World stamp set. โค

I am a forever fan of black and white and a little pop of color! As simple as it is, it always feels crisp and refreshing to me! ๐Ÿ™‚

The sketchy feel of this map steals my LIKE, big time! ๐Ÿ™‚ And how perfect is this sentiment? I could give this to so many people! โค

Next up, I have a sweet little number that can be used for so many occasions! I wanted to see if I could make it ultra versatile and I think I did just that. Maybe not so much for a man’s birthday, persay, but so many other occasions!

I love that Heather created these patterns larger than the banners, so you can stamp them and cut them so much easier than if you had to line up the patterns with the banner shape. Delightful in so many ways!! ๐Ÿ™‚

I added a little Toffee strip and stitched all the banners on together. Again, a different color combo for me overall. Just love experimenting with color combos! It’s often the ones I think are going to be not-so-great that are my faves! ๐Ÿ˜‰
