June Fun from Technique Tuesday!

I looked at the calendar today. June 3! What?! Already?! The good news is, that means new stamps and dies from Technique Tuesday ! They can be found HERE!

I thought I’d share a few cards with the new goodies! Here we go!

These little fun guys are part of the new set, Small Fries. And there are dies HERE! How cute is that name?! I thought I’d make it a party scene using the Planner Celebrate Stamp Set! Also a fun way to get more use of your planner stamps. I was SUPER excited to see THIS fishbowl die called, Fish Bowl. Ha! Perfect!

Gah, so fun! I used Distress Oxide inks for the water. It turned out better than I thought it would!

Next up, I’m sharing the new owl, Party Time Owl. He’s ready to PARTY! This guy the new edition to all the little owl sets that can be found HERE.

These little paper strips on my owl card, are actually trimmings from the cards I made below. Love how that worked out! I scored/embossed the rest of the card to add additional texture and carry the lines through. This Party card above also uses my go-to die, Photo Frame.

The cards below are made with the new Greenhouse Society Marigold set. There is also a matching die for this flower!

For this, I used the word dies Celebrate and Thank You. I masked off these different blocks and blended on some ink. I really enjoy how they turned out! I’d use this technique for making more of these cards, and giving card set gifts. The Marigold stamp was perfect for this! yay!

I used Worn Lipstick, Fossilized Amber, and Spiced Marmalade. (I would be awesome if the ink was Dried Marigold, right? Ha!)

Lots of fun new products for everyone’s style. Be sure to check out the new stuff from Technique Tuesday HERE!Β  πŸ™‚

Have a GREAT weekend! Thanks for stopping by!

Take care- Jill πŸ™‚

This new Planner-Yum set from Technique Tuesday is a riot! I mean, “Today Calls for Bacon”. Bacon-tastic! πŸ™‚
hawkins_jill_bacon_wmI thought it would be fantastic to rain bacon. hahaaahaaa! πŸ™‚ A simple, smile inducing card!hawkins_jill_bacon_00_wmI stamped all the bacon, masked off a spotlight area, and blended in some Distress Ink. Then I colored in all the bacon very simply with Copic Markers. Too funny πŸ˜‰

It’s Outdoor Season!

Time to get outdoors and cozy with some Technique Tuesday goodies!

hawkins_jill_campfire_00_wmI stamped and colored this cozy fire with my Prismacolor colored pencils. Then I outlined the portions of it and the sentiment with the white pencil. hawkins_jill_campfire_wmSimple, and I like it! πŸ™‚

hawkins_jill_life_wmFor this card, I blended some Distress Inks and then stamped the lantern in a deep green. I added some glossy accents to finish off the panel. hawkins_jill_life_00_wmIf I wanted that splotchy sky effect again, I’d probably never be able to recreate it. One of those happy mistakes. πŸ˜‰

Supplies for these cards from Technique Tuesday: Gone Camping, Photo Frame, and Clipboard dies.

Thanks for stopping by! Have a good weekend!

Sending Smiles…

Today, I needed to send some smiles STAT. And I was in a race with the postman. Why a card maker, like myself, who makes dozens of cards, never has the correct one, I do not know. Ack! And the idea of going to buy one? Ludicrous. So I busted out my Technique Tuesday Sending Smiles set and, boom: Done. πŸ™‚

hawkins_jill_sending smiles_00_wmI also used the Photo Frame die. Staple. LOVE this die. I could stamp this smiley face on EVERYTHING. Just sayin’.hawkins_jill_sending smiles_wm^ That is a wonky photo, yes? Oh well. It’s postal. bwwwahhhhaa!

Thanks for stopping by! Get ready, some new TT stuff heading out soon for MAY!! whoooop! πŸ™‚
