Hello Jen, my friend!

Hope you are having a fun weekend so far! I’m here to share a card using some of my favorite products from ย Honey Bee Stamps. These cover plates are AMAZING–and I want to use them on every card!! I just โค them! They are called Winter Prism Cover Plates. There are three layers– check them out HERE. I keep thinking I’ll cut them up in different colors, but then, here I am with pure white because they just look SO cool!

I also used theย  Joy Noel Wreath Honey Cuts. This is a fun die set with the letters and the wreath option. BUT when your friend’s name can be cut and spelled out, well, you do that!! ๐Ÿ™‚ I just hope this arrives in Jen’s mailbox before she sees the card online. shhhhh! ๐Ÿ™‚

The little “Hello” sentiment is from another HB set called Rainbow Wishes. On top of this amazing cover plate stack, I decided not to add anything else. But naturally, I did attempt to use some Confetti Bits: Bokeh Lights. Just decided against it because there is so much texture and geometry with everything already. ๐Ÿ™‚

I just so enjoy when you can take your holiday products and use them for non-holiday projects too! These cover plates are the definition of doing that and it just so happened I could spell my friend’s name with the holiday letters too– Score! ๐Ÿ™‚

Thank You!

Hope you had a Very Merry Christmas! I think we are finally starting to come out from the fog, but goodness, I am wiped out! ha!

But in crafty news, I’m here today to share some more fun from Honey Bee Stamps. Now is the time to send all those Thank You notes and this one fits the bill!

For this card, I used Honey Bee’s Stacking Pines, Northern Star Coverplate, Scallop A2, Rainbow Wishes and Gingerbread House Add On. I die cut everything and stamped the sentiment. I then assembled the card and added the chunky glitter on as the very last thing. Giving the glitter a little pat will help keep it all attached to the card. (Another tip: Rub down all the elements with an anti-static something to keep the glitter where you want it vs. all over the card.)

I wanted a card that would be easy to make a handful of, but a step above a mass producing design. This card has a little extra something, but it doesn’t take that long to make… which means, I can make a few without wondering where several hours went! ha! ๐Ÿ™‚

Rest and Refresh! NEW Release from SSS!

There is a New Release available over at Simon Says Stamp HERE— It’s called Rest and Refresh! I has the pleasure to use the sweet new Filigree Wreath.

I decided to make a “few” cards using this fun new wreath…figuring if I was going to die cut all these pieces, I might as well! I love to die cut inlay and I decided I need to watch some TV and zone out, so the combo worked out well. It’s like putting together a puzzle. The key is not lose any of the little bits–that is actually a bit tricky. ๐Ÿ™‚

All the little bits add such detail, I kept the rest of these cards pretty simple from there.

Here it is in all green!

I kinda really dig the one color! ๐Ÿ™‚

Here’s another very clean one. I’m not a big on adornments for Sympathy cards.

I was going to do all white, but decided to add this colored panel behind.

And lastly another colorful one:

I decided I’d make the dots black on this one, and I don’t think I used the correct pen unfortunately. I’m probably the only one who notices that though. ๐Ÿ˜‰

I thought the lot of these turned out lovely and they are great for mailing because they are flat. This new Filigree Wreath die has so much detail and sweetness, I felt I could keep the rest very clean. โ™ฅ๏ธ

I used sentiments from the new Paper Smooches set Sunnyville and the previously released Sympathy Sampler. The “Be You” sentiment is from Concord & 9th’s Rainbow Wishes.

Thanks to Simon Says Stamp for having me along to celebrate this fun NEW release!

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great Friday!

Take care–Jill

Rainbow Wishes

Hope your week is going well! Mine has been jam-packed, but last night, I just had to stamp some color! ๐Ÿ™‚ So I made these:

Be You. Be Happy. โค

I figured, if you are stamping rainbows, STAMP some RAINBOWS in bulk . ๐Ÿ˜‰ I stitched each one a little different to mix things up. Loving this stamp set and especially โค the sentiments and the font they are in. Gah! ๐Ÿ™‚

For all these cards, I used Concord & 9th’s Rainbow Wishes . Ahhhh rainbows. โค

I added a few scoring lines to the top of this. These were an experiment, and I decided I do not like this broken up look in scoring. But now I know, and I certainly was not going to bin these just because of that little detail. Not tragic. ๐Ÿ˜‰

I also stamped envelopes with Concord & 9th’s little stamp set. ๐Ÿ™‚

Well, that is all for now! ๐Ÿ™‚

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope wherever you live, you are experiencing a nicer Spring season. Haaaa! We are not having typical weather, but rather a continuing winter. Ugh.

Enjoy the rest of your week!

Take care– Jill ๐Ÿ™‚
