Seasons Greetings

Good Friday Morning, to you all! Thanks for stopping by! Today I am sharing a Paper Smooches card featuring some of my favorite little Paper Smooches snowmen/snowwomen. 🙂

Love this little guy. I created the background with Distress Oxide Inks, some water, some splats of paint and the hill. I colored the cute snowmen with Copics and adhered them with foam tape. That little one slays me with his cuteness!! ❤

The Seasons Greetings die is a fave because of course I adore the font of Kim’s handwriting, but I also love that it is square and bold. Perfect for cards. 🙂

Are you ready? I literally yelped when I saw this cuuuuutie!!! Oh my word! 🙂 They make me so happy!
I cut them out of fun foam, and I wasn’t sure about the “textured” look that occurred. However my son, who ❤ ❤ ❤ these guys, liked it because “she is furry”! So, hey, I ran with it! 🙂
And of course, added a GIANT googley eye to each! 🙂 I laugh all over again! I mean, “I only have eye for you”. I can’t EVEN! ❤ ❤ ❤

These new dies are called Monster Dies and the sentiment is from the new Halloween Sampler. The hill die cut is Paper Smooches Snow Drifts die.

Next hop stop:  Karin Akesdotter! 🙂 Karin is so stinkin’ talented! Goodness!

Thanks for stopping by today! Be sure to hop and leave comments for your chance to WIN!! Have a great weekend! I feel like summer is waning already. Gah!

Take care- Jill 🙂

Cheers to the New Year!

I wanted to wish you all a Happy New Year and THANK YOU so very much for all the kind notes you have left here this year! They are ALL appreciated, and I’m so grateful you took the time to leave them! 🙂

This card is made with the latest Paper Smooches Snow Drifts die. The sentiment comes from THIS awesome set, Be Merry.

hawkins_jill_snowdrifts_wmDoes this remind anyone of a Dr. Suess book? I couldn’t stop seeing it myself after I finished!  😉hawkins_jill_snowdrifts_00_wmI’ve kept my snow drifts die attached to each other, and therefore, I pieced this all together, to make a dynamic design. Love how it turned out! 🙂

I also had this card without sequins and at the last second, I added them. Usually, I leave things alone, but I’m glad I added a little sparkle to this card.

You can find some of my previous Paper Smooches posts HERE, HERE, HERE, and HERE.:) I had such a good time with PS these last two months and am looking forward to making more fun things! 🙂

Happiest New Year to you all! May 2017 bring you all many laughs and good health! 🙂
