Happy Easter! I hope those who celebrate had a wonderful Easter! Our weather was unreal here today, and I can’t remember a nicer Easter day, weather wise.
I thought I’d pop in to share some more fun from this month’s Technique Tuesday release! They can be found HERE!
I used purple and it all turned out OK! LOL! I am not a huge fan of purple, but I did try to it give it a few nods last month. Too funny!
This card uses the new fun set, Bunny Owl. (You cannot beat this price point for a cute lil’ set!)
I also used the new Kids Are Cool stamp set, which I ❤ ,and need more time in the day to use all the stamps there! 🙂 I think if you journal or scrapbook, this set would be extra perfecto for you!I also used the Memo Pad Card die. This die never fails me. 🙂 I used my Zig pens to watercolor this cutie, and added some googley eyes, of course.
And while we are here, enjoying some spring cards, I thought I’d share this silly one I made using the Bailey the Bunny stamp set. That tooshie is the best!
I was definitely doing some snickering while making this lil’ nutty one! 🙂
This sentiment is from Sassy Family. If you haven’t checked out the latest series of stamps in the “Sassy” line, I recommend them highly. I think they are super funny!! I love to send cards with laughs. 🙂 These bunnies were colored with Copic markers.
Here’s to everyone having a great week! I’m hoping to catch up on some stuff sometime this week? Yikes– I’m a bit behind on things–no pun intended! Haaaa!
Happy April! It’s no joke that there are lots new stamps and dies from Technique Tuesday today! They can be found HERE!
This new Mother’s Day set, Flowers for Mom, is simple and fun to use! I love this flower! ❤ ! And I have a difficult time using flowers, so this is a big win for me!
I colored these with Prismacolor colored pencils after heat embossing the images.
Love the simplicity. There is also a great die, Flowers for Mom die (check it out HERE) that will be fun to use in conjunction with this set and several others. ❤
I made this next card with the new Memory Keeper’s stamp set, Priceless. It’s got lots of stampy goodness included.
For this card, I masked off the border and used Distress Inks to watercolor, Patiently waiting for it to dry is the hardest part. I want to keep messing with the colors and moving them around. But the trick is to stop and let it DRY! 🙂 I used foam tape to pop up the middle of this sentiment banner, giving it a bowed look. I made this card to give for Mom’s day too. Moms are truly priceless. 🙂
Be sure to check out the new stuff from Technique Tuesday HERE! I am looking forward to making a few more things to share later this month 🙂
Wishing you a BRIGHT April!! Thanks for stopping by! ❤
Happy (Technique) Tuesday! The new Technique Tuesday release can be found HERE!
I soooooo enjoy THIS new set from Technique Tuesday called Sassy Family. I think sometimes a sentiment is all you need for a card. With two of these cards below, I did just that:
I would never ignore a call. 🙂
For this card, I stamped in orange and heat embossed it clear. Then I added some patterned papers and some stitching to keep it simple.
This sentiment, I find particularly hilarious and OH SO TRUE! 🙂 I scored the paper on this card before adding watercolor with Distress Inks. I was hoping the ink would pool up in the creases, but no such luck. It’s always an experiment with watercolor!
And of course, this sentiment above about the bathroom and silence, is my FAVORITE of this set. I just think is so funny and SO TRUE!! 🙂 I think I might have one last sentiment to ink from this set? Otherwise, I’ve used them all. Such fun!
Don’t forget to check out the new stuff from Technique Tuesday HERE! Happy March!
Thanks for stopping by!
When I saw Ellen Hutson’s Mix It Up Challenge this month was with Paper Smooches, well, I had to jump in! I was so excited to mix it up with some super faves 🙂 . I’m hoping I can sneak in another soon, since I have many things splayed across my desk already. Haaaa! 🙂
Oh my word!! I cannot handle how cute this little bear is with these giant PS glasses! 🙂 I think he might be struggling a bit, since his treat is upside down. 😉
I clear heat embossed this little guy. I colored in the Sunshine with both Copic markers and colored pencils. I could not decide how I wanted it to look! 🙂 I admittedly snickered when I finished this last night. Such fun! 🙂
For this card, I used Ellen Hutson’s All Inside (and dies), Bear Ware (and dies), and Warm Fuzzies. From Paper Smooches, I used the Rainbow Die and Glasses dies. SOOOO fun! 🙂
I’m entering this in the Ellen Hutson March Mix It Up Challenge: Paper Smooches…I’m actually early this time, so be sure you check it out too!! 🙂
Thanks for stopping by! Have an AWESOME sunshiney weekend!!
Happy Wednesday! I thought I’d give a shout that the new Technique Tuesday goodies are released online! Oh happy day!
I was pretty excited when THIS new set from Technique Tuesday came out and now there is THIS one, called Sassy Family. I cannot capture how much I laughed when I first saw it! SO perfect! 🙂
I’ll be back to share some cards with Sassy Family soon, but in the meantime, you can find the whole new March release HERE! Whooooooot!! 🙂
I thought I’d share this card using the new Bailey the Bunny stamp set. I cannot resist a good bunny tail, and these bunnies are so cute together! 🙂
Just to sweet! ❤
Bailey also has a die set, and that can be found HERE. I used just that die to create this delightful little number. 🙂 Teehee. Chocolate bunnies!
I used a ❤ die, the Heart Strings die for the banners above. The sentiment is from another favorite sentiment set, You Aren’t Normal. ❤ ❤ #stampallthethings 🙂
The keyword above is: Might. LOL! 🙂
You can check out all the fun new stuff from Technique Tuesday HERE! It’s all about family and Spring!! I’m partial to the fun kiddo stuff too. 🙂
Thanks for stopping by! Happy March!
I was excited to ink up these new little cutie deer from the new Ellen Hutson Oh Deer set last night. I was anxiously awaiting Julie Ebersole’s new sets, and of course, she did not disappoint. 🙂
I say “oh dear” a lot, and I thought it would be punny to make a little *party animal* scene. 🙂
I used a silver ink to stamp the background “confetti”, but when it was all said and done, it doesn’t have the sparkle I was hoping for. That’s ok, it’s still festive looking! Especially because she has lost control of her party hat. Haaaa! 🙂
I also used Ellen Hutson’s Bear Ware and dies for the fun party hats and cupcake! I clear heat embossed and colored on Bristol paper with my Zig markers, before die cutting everything out. I then used some Tumbled Glass and Peacock Feathers Distress Ink for the aqua background.
I’m entering this in the Essentials by Ellen February Pin-Sights Challenge. Check it out. I always love the jump start of inspiration!
Aqua is always good thing! 🙂
Thanks for stopping by! Have a GREAT week!:)
This new AWESOME set from Technique Tuesday CRACKS me up!! It is called Sassy Birthday, and it is gooooood stuff! 🙂
I quite enjoy how this card turned out! 🙂
I also used the new stamp set Let’s Party! 🙂 I white heat embossed those stamps on the panel, and then blended on some Distress Inks. The word Celebrate is from the new Celebrate die set! I used my always-go-to paper strips and then die cut the word out. I think this card screams PARTY! 🙂
You can check out all the fun new stuff from Technique Tuesday HERE!
Thanks for stopping by! Have a great Sunday!
