Technique Tuesday Release Day! August!

The day has come for all the new Technique Tuesday August products to be available HERE!

For this fun card I used this crazy fun new die that my son adores, of course! 🙂 This new die is called: Cars on the Road Border Dies: Gah! So fun and unlike anything I have, which makes it even better. 🙂 The sentiment is from the new Sassy Vacation Memories stamp set. ❤️!

This next card, I whipped up real quick because I thought this car would be super fun for holiday cards too! For this, I used the new Christmas Birds Stamp Set and then cut out the little gifts using the coordinating dies HERE. I cannot wait to use this stamp and die set more. Stand by for that because CUTE lil’ birds!! 🙂

Dashing through the snow….in August! 🙂

August Release Countdown, Day 2 from Technique Tuesday!

Welcome to Day TWO of Technique Tuesday’s August Release Countdown! It is a really Gr-EIGHT release.  <– See what I did there? 🙂

For this card, I used the new-soon-to-be-released TT set called, Olive the Octopus Stamp Set and the coordinating dies from Olive the Octopus Crafting Dies:. The puns just slay me every time! 🙂 (*Links will work when the new products are released tomorrow, August 1st)

I colored the images with Copic markers and die cut out the octopus. For the background, I used Distress Oxide ink to blend on some color to both panels. I wasn’t planning to match the pink I  colored the octopus, but that’s where it ended up! 🙂

I also wanted to use this fun new border die called: Waves on the Border Crafting Die.

I added some score lines and some stitching to polish off the card before adhering everything down.

Be sure to check out the NEW products from Technique Tuesday HERE! (The new products shown above will be available via those links tomorrow, August 1st! 🙂

I’ll catch you back here again tomorrow for RELEASE DAY and another card!

See you Later, Alligator!

Hope you had a great weekend! Ours was great here, but of course, too fast as always. 😉

I thought I’d pop in and share these cute little Neat & Tangled critters I colored with Copic Markers. The best part is, they made it onto CARDS already!! 🙂

This card is made with Neat & Tangled’s new Later Alligator and coordinating Dies. I also used N&T’s previously released Polygon Stencil with some Distress Oxide inks. 🙂 I cannot handle the cuteness of that tiny little frog! My son is going to love getting this one! 🙂

Next up, I used the cute little fox, So Foxy! Coordinating dies HERE.

I colored him gray with Copics and added him on top of some Lawn Fawn Really Rainbow Paper Pad paper. Gah, cutest little fox! ❤

I also used Neenah white cardstock, as always, for both! 🙂

If you haven’t seen it, Neat & Tangled is hosting another Throwdown: Crafting with Compassion.

There could not be a better idea in my mind, so I wanted to join in on it. I also thought it completely worthy to purchase this Celebrate You stamp set, as all the proceeds are “being donated to the Burning Limb Foundation to help patients at the Neurologic Relief Center receive care for Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS).” You can find all the info HERE.

A charity that matters to me is the American Cancer Society. Not only is it a cause close to my family’s heart, but is is a cause that my friend and her family help to raise money for every year. My friend and her family have run the Chicago Marathon seven years over, to raise money for the ACS in memory of her brother. This year, my friend is running the New York City Marathon for the American Cancer Society DetermiNATION Team. In the past, I have sold my cards to help raise just a little more money for her. 🙂 She is a rockstar in my book! ❤

Help spread the word for a worthy cause close to you! Join in HERE. ❤

Wishing you all a wonderful week ahead! 🙂

Take care- Jill 🙂

Swinging by to Say…

Sometimes you just need to Monkey around, right?! 🙂

The current Lawn Fawnatics Challenge is a Color Challenge and I wanted to join in the fun! Check it out HERE: So I made this cute little monkey card. I have been loving the retro vibe lately, so I went with that. 🙂 You just gotta love the 70’s and 80’s! 🙂

I colored the cute monkey from the Lawn Fawn/Ellen Hutson set  Love Ya Bunches (limited time set) with Copic markers. I made strips from scrap cardstock and then used an Avery Elle frame to cut it all out. I adhered all the bit down with foam tape. To polish it off, I scored the card base and added some stitching. Fun!

The sentiment Hang in There is from this Lawn Fawn set  Slow Down and Enjoy! I stamped that a little too close to the Swinging by bit, but…. well at that point, I had to run with it! 😉

Such a fun and sweet encouragement card to send! Loving these challenge colors! 🙂

Have a great and safe Fourth of July!!

Take care– Jill 🙂

Technique Tuesday Release Day! July!

The day has come for all the new Technique Tuesday July products to be available HERE!

I adore this little bug set so much!! Another win from Teri Anderson! 🙂

For this fresh new card, I used Technique Tuesday’s new Bugs and Kisses stamp set. I colored the cute bees with Copic Markers and fussy cut them out. I then used an old Fiskars punch for the small hexagons and scored the panel. I added some stitching and adhered everything on. Love how cute these bees are! 🙂
