STAMPtember: Simon Says Stamp Blog Party

Today is the kick off of Simon Says Stamp’s STAMPtember!!!ย  Always a BIG deal to celebrate in September! You can shop the entire STAMPtember Release HERE. There is a Blog party today and you can start over on the Simon Says Stamp Blog for all the links. But I’m here to celebrate–let’s get the party started!

This one is extra fun because my friend, Miriam Prantner has some great new sets released from Simon Says Stamp! So happy for Miriam and super excited to see her designs releasing out in the world once more–I’ve always been a big fan of all things MP! ๐Ÿ™‚

Let’s get started with one of my favorite new sets Miriam designed: Printmaking Florals. This set is a top fave, for sure! โค I love printmaking!!

I couldn’t stop stamping these, so I just went ahead and made “a few”. These would make an awesome gift set and I plan to make more and gift them. The combos of colors are infinite!

Love these printmaking designs Miriam whips up! I have another stamp I hope to make some cards with soon, so I’ll be back to share that one too! ๐Ÿ™‚ It is called Floral Background. Miriam created another printmaking set called Printmaking Houses and I’d love to use that set someday too! They’d also be perfect for making a sweet gift card set.

Sometimes it is just fun to stamp stamp stamp isn’t it? No coloring or die cutting, just stamping.

I love these! And I used all the sentiments in the set for these cards. I ๐Ÿค the font Miriam chose for these. ๐Ÿ™‚

Next up, I used Miriam’s new Drink Coffee sentiment set. I paired this with the new 3D Embossing Folder called Crystal Distortion. This Crystal Distortion embossing folder is super cool and could not be easier to create this background with so much interest. Cardstock, Embossing Folder–run through and boom! Done! Honestly, it would be a breeze to make a fun stack of coffee cards to mail out with this combo. I enjoy making cards in bulk and also sending cards in bulk. ๐Ÿ™‚

I do believe that a World Without Coffee is a World in Chaos! haaaaa! ๐Ÿ˜‚โ˜•โ˜•

Lastly for today, I used this fun background stamp called Coffee Drinks. There is also a stencil that would be awesome to create a sweet blend. It is the Coffee Drinks Stencil . I also used another sentiment from the Drink Coffeeย sentiment set.

I finished this one off using SSS Basic Rectangles. This whole color combo is definitely a new dive for me, but I thought it turned out fun for this coffee theme.

You can find all the goodies I used over at Simon Says Stamp! All the new STAMPtember can be found HERE.

STAMPtember with Honey Bee!

I am joining the fun over at Simon Says Stamp for the Honey Bee Exclusive Release for STAMPtember!! ๐Ÿ™‚

You can pop over to the Simon Says Stamp Blog HERE to see more about this stamp set releasingย  from Simon Says Stamp/ Honey Bee Stamps NOW! ๐Ÿ™‚ This stamp set is called On My Mind and it has a coordinating die you can order as part of the combo if you’d like.

This set is a sweet wreath perfect for Autumn or really any time, depending on the colors you choose to use. I decided to take a slightly alternative route and create a watercolor card using the floral part of the wreath for a border around.

I laid down a few layers of watercolor and then white heat embossed over the top. I think if I did it again, I’d let up a little to keep more of the yellows, but you just never know with watercolor, do you?ย  ๐Ÿ™‚

Be sure to check out all the goodness over at Simon Says Stamp and find all the goodies there! The Honey Bee Stamps/SSS set On My Mind HERE. If you are thinking of ordering it, don’t delay!

There are a limited amount of these On My Mind stamp sets and dies available and if sometimes if you wait a wee bit too long (ask me how I know!) …POOF! They are gone! ๐Ÿ™‚ The exclusive collaborations are selling out in record time this year, so act fast if you can.

Thanks to Simon Says Stamp for having me along to join in the ย STAMPtember Fun with Honey Bee!! Be sure to check it all out!ย ๐Ÿ™‚

SSS STAMPtember 2020!

I am joining the fun over at Simon Says Stamp for the 2020 party of STAMPtember!! ๐Ÿ™‚

I am using the new CZ Design Deco Squares Cling Background stamp! I decided it would be super fun to use the Karin Markers on it and watercolor allllll the rainbow goodness! ๐Ÿ™‚ I also used the previously released SSS You’re Doing Awesome die.

It’s far from perfect, but with watercolor, I think you have to let that go early on. I even used a lavender and a deep violet, which is basically against the grain, in my world. haaa! ๐Ÿ™‚

You can pop over to the Simon Says Stamp Blog HERE to learn all the things about the celebration this month. Be sure to use the code in the image above for your order from Simon Says Stamp and getย your gift! ๐Ÿ™‚

STAMPtember with Paper Smooches!

Oh Happy Day! Paper Smooches has a festively autumn collaboration with Simon Says Stamp for STAMPtember!! You can find this Paper Smooches Deco Fall set HERE.

I love that these are solid images that can be stamped in fall colors …or any colors!!

First up I have this sweet card heavily inspired by my friend Lori last weekend. She made a set of beautiful cards that has clearly stuck with me, because I created this inspired by her cards. โค

I masked off a center portion of this card and blending on some ink, scoring it to polish if off. I added this sweet acorn after I fussy cut it out.
I just thought it turned out so sweet. ๐Ÿ™‚

Next up, is the all about Autumn card! I used all the fall colors on it–my fave!

Welcome Autumn! Love these sweet leaves! They make quick work of festive cards. ๐Ÿ™‚

I added some stitching to polish it all off. ๐Ÿ™‚ This PSย  Deco Fall set is a fabulous set to celebrate Fall!

STAMPtember with Tim Holtz!

Today, I’m sharing a card with Tim Holtz’s Simon Says Stamp  STAMPtember set! You can find this  set by Tim Holtz HERE.

I was with friends this past weekend and a bunch of us created a card with this set to share. A big shout out to my friend Latisha who took this photograph for me. You can tell I didn’t take it because it looks so lovely! ๐Ÿ™‚

I added some watercolor craziness and stamped this dude on there. Perfect for Halloween! ๐ŸŽƒ

There is nothing about this photo that looks like it came from me, right?! Ha! The stamp set was my friend Nichol’s, that she shared with us. It’s not my usual style. There is no stitching because I was away from home. AND it’s not my photography. But, as I tell myself all the time, it’s good to fly out of your comfort zone now and again or else you get stuck in it forever.

Hopefully you can find all the images of the cards my crafty friends made with this set too–over at Simon Says Stamp. Because, let me just tell you, they have MAD skills!! โค

You can find allllllll things STAMPtember HERE! And Simon Says Stamp HERE!

Thanks to my crafty friends for the laughs this past weekend. And thanks to Simon Says Stamp for for a great STAMPtember!

STAMPtember with Honey Bee Stamps!

Fun news! Honey Bee Stamps has a beautiful collaboration with Simon Says Stamp for STAMPtember!! You can find this lovely set called Fall Beauty HERE.

The main feature stamp can hold the card on it’s own, so it doesn’t take much to make it shine. I think there are going to be some awesome examples of this lovely colored!

I kept things simple, because I wanted to make a card set.

I fussy cut out the edge of the stamp after white heat embossing it. I love when detailed stamps are kept simple–the stamp does all the work!

Fall Colors: Perfect!

These sweet sentiments make it easy to complete the simple cards!

Lastly, because I love Fall, I had to make a fall card to use this sentiment. For this I squished a bunch of Distress Inks to create the mish mash of color.

I white heat embossed the one leaf repeatedly and added some splats and stitching to polish it all off.

Autumn changing is beautiful! My FAVORITE! ๐Ÿ™‚

Again, here is the full set, Fall Beauty, so you can see all the lovely!

STAMPtember 2019!

September is a month of many things in my world, and one of the fantastically fun things for me is: STAMPtember from Simon Says Stamp! Today is the Blog Party!! ๐Ÿ™‚

Today, I’m sharing a card I made using the new Scripty Happy Birthday Die. This Happy Birthday die can pretty much be used for all Birthday cards, don’t you think? ๐Ÿ™‚ Check it out HERE.

This Scripty Happy Birthday die has the back plate, which makes it PERFECT for shaker cards!ย  ๐Ÿ™‚

I added a bazillion little sequins and bits from my stash. I can’t even tell you where they are from, because I just kept throwing colors in! ๐Ÿ™‚

I scored the panel and added some stitching for added texture. I would super love to receive a colorful happy card like this, so I’m hoping someone else will too!

STAMPtember!

September is a month of many things, and one of the fantastic things is: STAMPtember from Simon Says Stamp!

I have the good pleasure of sharing this new stamp set: Birthday Numbers!! Well, perfect timing as our son has his big #8 coming up in September!! He’ll get a kick out of this one. ๐Ÿ™‚

How awesome are these big bold numbers!?ย  I thought this one would like to smile and float! ๐Ÿ™‚

I masked & stamped these images all out. Then I colored them with Copic Markers and then masked them off again with Post-its to add the background clouds. I covered the balloons in clear Nuvo. I think I prefer Glossy Accents for this type of application, but I was lucky to just find the Nuvo. LOL.

Fabulousness! There are coordinating dies HERE that you can also use to create with. I think they’d make personalized birthday cards a snap.

Next up, I thought it would be fun to paper piece a “7”:

And of course, the seven wanted some big eyes too! ๐Ÿ™‚

For this card, I used a lot of patterned paper, but mostly the stamps make it the party card that it is! So fun!
