Merry Blooms Kit from Taylored Expressions–Merry Merry!

Today, there is a NEW Kit available over atย  Taylored Expressions and it is VERY Merry! And very Bloomy. Is that a word? It is now. ๐Ÿ˜„! This kit is the perfect scenario if you just want to create a good stack of cards and get ahead for your holiday card mailings. It’s all there for you, you just need ink! ๐Ÿ™‚

I decided to try out a couple different things with my cards here today.

First up, let’s talk about this card, because I think it might very well be my favorite! ๐Ÿ™‚ It is so different from anything I have made and honestly, I’m not entirely sure how it happened. ha!

For these flowers, I used the following ink colors, blended on with TE Blending Brushes: Sea Salt, Salt Water Taffy, Confetti Cake, Potato Chip and Mushroom. I started first with the Sea Salt adding that down to create kind of a base and a good white shadow, if you will. On top of that I went very lightly with the other colors. I have seen blue poinsettias, but I am not entirely sure about them, so I gave these a white with a tinge of blue hue.

I used the stamps in the Merry Blooms Clear Stamp set to add all the details to the individual pieces. For the leaves, I inked the background stamp with a bunch of different greens and even some yellow.

The sentiment is from the Clearly Crafty Joyful Season stamp set and then I used the coordinating dies (which need to be purchased separately from the kit) to die cut it out before adhering with a couple layers of cardstock underneath.

I added this vellum frame using the Petite Scallop Rectangle Stacklets and the Stitched Rectangle Stacklets. I am digging how this turned out. It is not only full of holiday cheer, but it also says winter to me–cozy winter! The good kind of winter. ๐Ÿ™‚

I finish everything off with some stitching and Clear Drip Drops.

Next up, I made a few tags using the Pierced Tag Stacklets and added one to the TE Clear Treat Boxes. For these I went to more of a traditional holiday red, using lots of different TE Reds and pinks. I even used Mulled Wine, which I admittedly do not use too often, so that’s always fun for me!

I white heat embossed these little sentiments on some strips of Sweet Basil cardstock. Looking forward to using these tags at the holidays for sure!

On these tags and both of my cards, I also used the Spattered Background and white heat embossed that. I like how it gives it a snowy wintery look. I could use this background on most every card, I think. โค

Lastly, I have this card, using more of a Spearmint looking set of leaves. I also used Mint Julep. This green combo is delightful.

I added some Silver Glitter to the center of these Poinsettias. Again, I also used the Spatter Background with some Mushroom ink to add little extra bit of goodness. I used the Frame in Frame die to create this panel. I added a nest of silver thread behind the sentiment to tie into the silver glitter. So festive!

Of course, I love these envelope colors in this kit and the stickers. Always the stickers. But I’m going to need some more Dijon envelopes. How do I not have these already?

All these products are available now over at Taylored Expressions. Here’s the TE scoop:

Hereโ€™s everything included the Merry Blooms Kit โ€“ which is available for $69:

Counting Blessings SOA Release Day!

Happy Release day for the Counting Blessings Stamp of Approval Collection!

Thank you so very much for all the amazing and truly kind comments everyone left here yesterday! The consensus is that we love the leaves and that leaves and gratitude are not just for autumn! Love that! ๐Ÿ™‚ You can check out my blog post for the Blog Hop yesterday HERE. Be sure to head over to Catherine’s website below for all the latest info!

I am sharing a couple more cards here to celebrate RELEASE DAY! Yay!!

How awesomely graphic is this Geo Trio stencil!! โค !! It has three different patterns to use on it! Catherine’s inks make blending this on flawless! I used Icing on the Cake, Tutti Frutti (fave!) Orange Twist , and Tiara for this.

I also used the collection’s Thankful die and the Tags, Etc. dies for this strip. I was intending to stitch above it, but ended up right on the line the die creates. I could never stitch this way if I intended too! But on a fluke, no problem! LOL!

Just love the graphic nature of this card and how those inks blend! So flawless! And can we just enjoy the handwritten script of this Thankful die? Good golly! So fantastic!

Next up is a ‘Thank You’ card!

I just trimmed the Thankful die to make a fun “Thank You” card! ๐Ÿ™‚

For this card, I used the Tags, Etc. Dies, Thankful Die, Autumn Blessings Stamp set, Geo Trio Stencil, and the Marching Leaves stencil!ย  Eeep! Again, I used Catherine’s fabulously blending inks! (Tutti Frutti and actually all the same ones as the above card! How did that happen? LOL!! ๐Ÿ™‚ )

I hope you’ve enjoyed the projects I made with this collection, as much as I have enjoyed making them!

Thank you again for stopping by today! A BIG crafty hug to Catherine for having me along, and many thanks to the team for help with details! It’s been a pleasure hanging with everyone! Be sure to check out Catherine’s Blog HERE for more fun!

I look forward to seeing what everyone creates with this fantastic collection!!

Happy creating!

Are you ready for my cards?! I am! I really enjoyed playing with this collection! ๐Ÿ™‚

Oh my word! THIS LEAF! โค ! For this card, I used several of the products in the box. The tag and scalloped panel are from the Tag, Etc. Dies. I die cut the Thankful die a few times and layered it up for some pop! The leaf is cut using the Falling Leaf dies. (I adhered them, and then stitched them like crazy! ๐Ÿ˜‰ ) I used the Marching Leaves stencil on the background. (This stencil is definitely one of my favorite things in this box– โค !!!!)

I love this color combo that shook out during the process! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Next up, is a celebration card showing the versatility of this collection! I think this color combo is so festive! ALL Catherine Pooler’s bold color inks are a stamper’s dream! Very inky, but not TOO inky. You know what I mean? ๐Ÿ˜‰ Those can be found HERE.

For this card, I used the following products from this collection: The Tags, Etc. Dies, Good Things stamp set, and the Leaf Motifs stamp set.

I used my favorite CP color, Tutti Frutti, on many of my SOA projects this month! I can’t stop. ๐Ÿ™‚ ย For this card, I also used the new gray Black Jack, Party Dress, Tiara and Fiesta Blue!

This collection is FULL of possibilities! I myself, am super loving all the graphic elements in it!
