Technique Tuesday FUN!

Welcome to a new week! Monday should definitely be optional–who’s with me?!

This new sentiment is from the latest Technique Tuesday Sassy set called Sassy Days! These are definitely some of my favorite sets! I laugh every time I get them and itch to use every single one. Teri is so good! ๐Ÿ™‚

I paired it with the previously released Greenhouse Society set Sweet Succulents. Love the little hen and chick stamps!

Next up, is this AWESOME new die, By the Numbers! This truly makes the quickest work of a birthday card! For this card, I just used a bunch of scrap blocks and glued it to a piece of copy paper. Then Iย  die cut it and voila! Super easy, super quick, and super impact! I need to do a bunch of these so I’m actually ready for birthdays vs. scrambling! ๐Ÿ˜‰

(The sentiment is from the Smirthday Set. โค !)

Then, there are the turtles!!! Love me a cute little turtle! ๐Ÿ™‚ This new TT set is called: Turtle Trio! It’s the latest release in the Animal House line.ย  There are coordinating dies HERE. I used the Turtles and the By the Numbers for a cute belated birthday card. That little turtle is my FAVE! ๐Ÿ™‚

I colored the turtles with Copic Markers and heat embossed the sentiment on black cardstock.

Eeeeeep! So cute!

I have a “few” turtles on my desk still, but I used another to create this card in the conjunction with the new Current Events stamp set and the new On the Calendar dies. Love how the upside down turtle was perfecto for this sentiment.

I just added some embossed lines to the panel with my scoring board. Quick and easy! Love doing that often. ๐Ÿ™‚

And of course, I just had to do a quick tag to use another Sassy Days stamp. I figured I could add this to a card soon and pop it in the mail to a friend. ๐Ÿ™‚ Well, there you have it! Lots of new fun things fromย Technique Tuesday today! They can be found HERE!

I wasn’t sure if I’d get around to another blog post this month, so I figured I’d share them all at once! ๐Ÿ™‚ December is flying CRAZY fast, isn’t it?

Thanks for stopping by and happy holiday crafting!!

Take care- Jill ๐Ÿ™‚

25 Days of Christmas Tags!

Today I am sharing cards made for my sweet friend Tracey McNeely’s 25 Days of Christmas Tags!! How fun is that? I used all these great holiday stamps from Technique Tuesday today! They can be found HERE!

These first two are more “traditional” holiday colors.

For all of these, I cut/used small cardstock strips glued down to a piece of regular ol’ paper. Then I die cut the tags out from each before stamping and heat embossing the sentiments.

^^That is one of my favorite sentiments! ๐Ÿ™‚ LOL!

These last two are a fun take on Christmas colors. ๐Ÿ™‚

For all my tags, I used various sentiments from Technique Tuesday: Spirit of December, Dear Santa, Christ is Born, and Classic Christmas Sentiments. The Classic Christmas Sentiments set is such a staple set! And of course, the Dear Santa set is my laughable fun fave! ๐Ÿ™‚ (The tiny stars and snowflakes are all from the fun TT planner sets HERE.)

Holiday Cards

Welcome to the weekend! Hope you are looking forward to some fun these couple of days! ๐Ÿ™‚

I’m popping in to share a few more cards using new stamps from Technique Tuesday today! They can be found HERE!

This lovely festive new set is: Barberry Stamp Set. I also used sentiments from: Spirit of December and Dear Santa. The Dear Santa set is definitely a well-loved one. LOL! ๐Ÿ™‚

I stamped and colored the berries with Copic markers on Neenah Desert Storm cardstock. For the card base, I used some sparkly washi my sweet friend gave me. It’s from X-Press It: Deco Tape Copper Glitter ! Helllllllllo sparkly goodness! Also, while I was there, I saw lots of other tapes that I’m going *need*! Cork!? And…Shiny Skinny Tape HERE!ย  Good gracious! Ok, back to the card! ๐Ÿ™‚ Got a little sidetracked by the sparkly there for a minute! haaa! (Enabling friends are trouble, aren’t they?ย  โค โคย  )ย

I added a few different touches to each of them, but I am glad I made three at once. I keep saying I need to do this WAY more! ๐Ÿ™‚

To finish them off, I added a few black dots, my favorite Pretty Pink Posh Sequins and some stitching. Simple and festive! ๐Ÿ™‚

Be sure to hop over and check out the new stuff from Technique Tuesday HERE!ย ย  ๐Ÿ™‚

New from Technique Tuesday!

Happy November! I am not recovered from Halloween yet, but Happy November! ๐Ÿ™‚

Hooray for lots of new stamps and dies from Technique Tuesday today! They can be found HERE!

Today, I’m sharing a card using the new Sassy Fashion Stamp set! Isn’t this fantastic!? I just cracked up when I saw this sentiment. Yes! ๐Ÿ™‚ โค

I stamped and colored the dresses with Copic markers. For the card base, I used some silver washi tape and patterned paper. I added some stitching on,ย  and called it a day. I couldn’t decide if I should add a few sequins, but I thought the silver sparkle was enough. ๐Ÿ™‚

Be sure to hop over and check out the new stuff from Technique Tuesday HERE! Lots of fun!ย  ๐Ÿ™‚

Hope you don’t suffer from a Halloween candy tummy ache today! ๐Ÿ˜‰ Haaaaa!

Eeeeps! Cutie little birds! I created a quick and simple Distress Ink watercolor back drop and when that dried, I stamped the birds in Versafine Black. I added some wonky stitches under their feet and sewed the watercolor panel onto the card front. ๐Ÿ™‚

I love the simple typed font with the curly script words! Delightful! ๐Ÿ™‚

This little bird I stamped on three same size pieces of cardstock and pieced them together. I added  a couple black strips and some stitching and Voila! ๐Ÿ™‚ SMILE! I love these kind of cards and I love to mail them!

These little birdies have coordinating dies, and those can be found HERE. I don’t have them, but I think they would be fun to use to layer up these little birds in flocks! ๐Ÿ™‚

While I have you, I thought it would be fun to share a couple coffee cards I made with TT’s new October goodies!

I just love how simple this first card is and how it turned out! I wish I have made a few more at the time.  ๐Ÿ™‚ I just used Hero Arts Unicorn Pigment ink on black paper to stamp this awesome coffee cup from the NEW Perk Up Stamp set.

This sentiment is from the Sassy Coffee set! Oh my word–these Sassy sets that Teri Anderson creates keep me cracking up time after time. I just think they are all a riot and can be found HERE.

This next card uses the same Sassy Coffee set, but over and over. Because I feel like that just needs repeating. ๐Ÿ™‚

I stamped the cute smiley coffee cup from the same set. You know I love any inanimate object that smiles. ๐Ÿ™‚ Haaaa!

I hope you are able to carve some time out today and create. I’m likely to do mine late tonight when our son goes to bed. But that’s normal. ๐Ÿ™‚ Have a great weekend and be sure to check out the new stuff from Technique Tuesday HERE!  ๐Ÿ™‚ Including this new Chickadees 2.0 WCMD set!

STAMPtember: Technique Tuesday set!

Happy [Technique] Tuesday! Exciting news about a new Simon Says Stamp/Technique Tuesday STAMPtember Set in the house! You can check out the new set, Sassy You’re Not Normal (haaaa!) HERE! It is SUPER funny!

I thought I’d share some cards I made with this new set. I had the foresight to think ahead and make a few at once. There were originally 6, but I was having some trouble stamping that night, (LOL!!) so only three made it to the finish line! Haaaaa! ๐Ÿ™‚

For these cards, I also used the delightful Enjoyed Layered Flower Stamp set. Isn’t that Sunflower fun!?

These new sentiments on this SS/TT set are so freaking awesome and CRACK ME UP!! ๐Ÿ™‚

How funny about the dryer!? So true! I stamped the dryer repeatedly in orange and gray inks. ๐Ÿ™‚

And to finish off, I had to also use this sentiment, so I colored for Kathy’s Daily Marker 30 Day Challenge with it! ๐Ÿ™‚ Have you joined in The Daily Marker 30 Day? There’s still time! It’s quite fun and great practice! I have no idea how Kathy keeps up with all?!! Amazing! You can check out all my misgivings and successes HERE on Instagram!

Be sure to hop over and check out the new STAMPtember Goodies from Simon Says Stamp HERE and everything new from Technique Tuesday HERE!ย  ๐Ÿ™‚ Lots of fun stuff to add to your wish list! Though this Technique Tuesday/Simon Says Stamp set, Sassy You’re Not Normal set is a Limited Edition! So don’t delay! ๐Ÿ™‚

Have an awesome week!

Fall Tidings and more!

Fall Tidings? That’s a thing, right? Well, it is now. LOL! ๐Ÿ™‚

Today, I’m popping in with a few more cards from the September Release (and others!) of Technique Tuesday! All the new goodies can be found HERE!

My first card features this month’s cutie owl, Framed Owl! Awwwww! โค I also used the sentiment from Sassy Birthday! Perfectly funny! ๐Ÿ™‚

I colored this cutie with Copic Markers and cut him out using the Clipboard die.

Next up, is this perfectly seasonal sentiment paired up with these layered leaves from the Fall Favorites set. These leaves stamp in such a cool fashion and I love the look in the end! It’s pretty subtle is these photos, but in person, it is lovely. Imagine the possibilities of layers with these!

I also added in some sweet acorns from the Fall Accents dies. When I made this card, we were actually experiencing sweater weather and I loved it! Suddenly, we are back into the low 90’s. Phew!

Another sweet and simple card using the Fall Accent dies is this one below:

This card is pretty simple and straight forward, but it would be easy to create a bunch of these for that very reason. This sentiment is from the Echinacea Stamp set. (All the finches are currently eating our dried up Echinacea flowers in the yard. โค )

And last, but not least, is this tidy little holiday number:

This pinecone (Pinecone Builder) ROCKS and I need to use it more! It comes with a solid cone to create a background for your delicate die cut. I used both delicate cuts here however. I die cut the pinecone,ย  as well as dry embossed it, to create some texture on the background

If you eliminated the “letterpress” background, this card would be fairly simple to create by the dozen! Of course, I love this handwritten sentiment paired with the typeface of “wishes”. This is from the Spirit of December stamp set. This sentiment set is crazy versatile, because you can mix up the sentiments as needed… and you don’t have to cut them. (the horror! LOL!) ๐Ÿ˜‰ ๐Ÿ™‚

Be sure to hop over and check out the new stuff from Technique Tuesday HERE!ย  Lots of trouble to be had! ๐Ÿ™‚

Thanks for stopping by!!
