Fall Tidings and more!

Fall Tidings? That’s a thing, right? Well, it is now. LOL! ๐Ÿ™‚

Today, I’m popping in with a few more cards from the September Release (and others!) of Technique Tuesday! All the new goodies can be found HERE!

My first card features this month’s cutie owl, Framed Owl! Awwwww! โค I also used the sentiment from Sassy Birthday! Perfectly funny! ๐Ÿ™‚

I colored this cutie with Copic Markers and cut him out using the Clipboard die.

Next up, is this perfectly seasonal sentiment paired up with these layered leaves from the Fall Favorites set. These leaves stamp in such a cool fashion and I love the look in the end! It’s pretty subtle is these photos, but in person, it is lovely. Imagine the possibilities of layers with these!

I also added in some sweet acorns from the Fall Accents dies. When I made this card, we were actually experiencing sweater weather and I loved it! Suddenly, we are back into the low 90’s. Phew!

Another sweet and simple card using the Fall Accent dies is this one below:

This card is pretty simple and straight forward, but it would be easy to create a bunch of these for that very reason. This sentiment is from the Echinacea Stamp set. (All the finches are currently eating our dried up Echinacea flowers in the yard. โค )

And last, but not least, is this tidy little holiday number:

This pinecone (Pinecone Builder) ROCKS and I need to use it more! It comes with a solid cone to create a background for your delicate die cut. I used both delicate cuts here however. I die cut the pinecone,ย  as well as dry embossed it, to create some texture on the background

If you eliminated the “letterpress” background, this card would be fairly simple to create by the dozen! Of course, I love this handwritten sentiment paired with the typeface of “wishes”. This is from the Spirit of December stamp set. This sentiment set is crazy versatile, because you can mix up the sentiments as needed… and you don’t have to cut them. (the horror! LOL!) ๐Ÿ˜‰ ๐Ÿ™‚

Technique Tuesday Flamingo FUN!

Happy Weekend! I am excited to share these cards I made with the September Release from Technique Tuesday! They can be found HERE!

I keep laughing at the sentiments is this super fun stamp set: Floyd and Frannie Flamingo stamp set and coordinating dies. So. Much. Fun.

I painted this background with my Kuretake watercolors and the flamingos with Copic Markers. This sentiment still makes me laugh to read it! ๐Ÿ™‚For this second card, I created a background with lots of masked off flamingos. Again, I colored these flamingos with Copic Markers and die cut them out. I white heat embossed the sentiment and die cut it out with the Postage Card die.

This has to be my favorite sentiment of the bunch. SO cracks me up! ๐Ÿ™‚

Be sure to hop over and check out the new stuff from Technique Tuesday HERE!  ๐Ÿ™‚ Lots of fun stuff!

Smile for the Cameras!

Happy Thursday! Popping in quick to freshen things up here ๐Ÿ™‚

Today I’m sharing these cards I made with the cameratastic August Release fromย Technique Tuesday! They can be found HERE!

I love the Oh Snap stamp! fun fun!!

I mixed up a bunch of different sets for this spunky little number! Technique Tuesday’s: We Just Click,ย Planner Camera, Start With a Smile Stamp set, and Caught on Camera stamp set.

This next one might be my favorite of the lot. ๐Ÿ™‚ I stamped this panel and left it to dry on my desk. Forgot about it! Then a couple weeks later, I found it all ready to color! Love that! ๐Ÿ™‚

For this, I used Zig Clean Color fluorescent pens. The photos always dull it down a bit, but in person, it is bright!

Alrighty, that’s all I have for today! Check back soon as the new September TT release is right around the corner!ย  ๐Ÿ˜‰

Technique Tuesday: Christmas in August!

A new month, a new bunch of stamps and dies from Technique Tuesday ! They can all be found HERE! Not only are Christmas stamps in this release, but lots of camera-y goodness and of course, the latest flower. ๐Ÿ™‚

Today, I’ll share the Christmas cards I made because they make me laugh! And I NEED to make more…so hoping this gets me going! ๐Ÿ™‚

Both cards use awesomely funny new sentiments from this Dear Santa set. Crack. Me. Up. ๐Ÿ™‚

I stamped this on kraft and colored with colored pencils. I also used the new planning set, Christmas Doodles ( โค these little doodles!) for stamping a tone on tone background for this card base. The die is a favorite go-to: Postage Card Die.

This next card, I also use the same Dear Santa set, but also I used the newly released, Spirit of December. A versatile set with simple images (aka, not intimidating) and great sentiments for scrapbook use (and ALWAYS cards)! ๐Ÿ˜‰

I colored the images with Copic markers and added some washi tape along the bottom before stitching the panel on.

How super funny is this sentiment?! LOL! How many of these could I send out? Bwwwaaahahhaa! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Be sure to check out ALL the fun new stuff from Technique Tuesday HERE! It’s a release I can’t wait to get out and use some more!ย  ๐Ÿ™‚

Have a great Sunday!

Some Monday-ness…

Happy Monday! I thought a few of these TT cards I made were fitting for today, being Monday and all. ๐Ÿ™‚ The full July release from Technique Tuesday can be found HERE!

How about this one? LOL. It’s hot out and I’m in road trip recovery, so this sounds good to me! ๐Ÿ™‚

I used Technique Tuesday’s new Sweet Succulents set ( โค ) and Sassy Lazy Thoughts. This new Sassy set is a freaking riot!! ๐Ÿ™‚ For this card, I watercolored with my Zig Clean Color markers on Bristol paper.

Next up, Lorenzo the Llama set and coordinating dies HERE. I type his name and I giggle still!

Spit happens! Perfect! LOL! I colored Lorenzo with Copic Markers and die cut the Memo Pad Die from patterned paper.

And last, but not least for today,ย  we have this little number:

Bwwwahhhahhaaa! I used the Sassy Lazy Thoughts set again, along with the Planner stamp set called Planner Yum! Again, this was watercolored with Zig markers and stitched up to finish it off! ๐Ÿ™‚

Be sure to check outย  Technique Tuesday HERE!ย  ๐Ÿ™‚

Happy Monday–I hope you all power through!

Technique Tuesday: July!

The start of July means new stamps and dies from Technique Tuesday ! They can be found HERE! There is always something for everyone in TT’s releases. ๐Ÿ™‚

First up, we have the new owl for the month: Hi There Owl. I might have a new favorite? This one cracks me up because it reminds of trying to take selfies with friends. Key word: Trying! LOL! This owl is the new edition to all the little owl sets that can be found HERE.

How cute is this owl!? Gah! I used the Pocket of Love die for the frame.

Next up, the new Lorenzo the Llama set and coordinating dies HERE. That name makes me laugh every time I read it! Bwaaahahhaa! “No Prob-Llama”! I die. ๐Ÿ™‚Lorenzo’s set has the punniest llama sentiments that I โค !! “Llama Tell You How Much I Like You”. Big hit in my book. I colored this guy with Copic Markers and die cut him out. I added some patterned paper and stitched it on. Boom! Complete! Love that kind of card! I always feel like I’ve really done something when I use some of my PP. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Last card, but not least for today, is this summerific card using the new At the Beach stamp set. This is one of those cards I did not like when I made it. The next day, I did! LOL! I think it’s beachy keen!

For this card, I masked off an area on a watercolor paper panel. I then stamped and white embossed all the images. I watercolored over them with my Kuretake Gansai watercolors. I even used some of the blue pearl one, which in person, looks fun and sparkly! I always forget how opaque these paints are. Which is why I didn’t like the results at first. But after I got over my “intended look”, I liked it! Phew! ๐Ÿ™‚

(How awkward is the angle I took the below photo at? LOL! I only realize it now, and cannot redo because I already mailed it! ๐Ÿ˜‰ )

One more quick share is this new set, It’s a Masterpiece. It’s such a funny little set that I think all project makers would enjoy stamping on the back of cards, or anything you make. Cracks. Me. Up.

HOURS to make. YES! HOURS!! Haaaaa!

Be sure to check out ALL the new stuff from Technique Tuesday HERE!ย  ๐Ÿ™‚

Happy Holiday weekend to those celebrating!

No. 1 Fan!

Happy Tuesday! A perfect day to share a project I made using a stamp set from Technique Tuesday! It’s from a previous release, but a fave of mine!ย  Technique Tuesday’s Fan-tastic! (That Teri Anderson makes some GOOD GOOD stuff!) ๐Ÿ˜‰

I used more of my patterned paper (FTW!) to create this card. After I was done fussy cutting all the layers out, the thought popped in my head to add the blowing “ribbons”.ย  I thought it turned out fun! This was a Father’s Day card for my hubby โค .
