Squeaking one in for the MFT Sketch Challenge this week: Sketch #264. (My Favorite Things Challenge & Inspiration blog.)
Here’s my take: Abstracting and label making love. ❤
And the Stitched Heart STAX! So <3. I put everything on a wonky angle, because apparently that’s what I do! 😉I used the Abstract Stencil, spraying pink & gray Copics with the Distress Marker Sprayer. It’s always on my desk, but I’m trying to clean and purge. So I moved it to a “better location” and it took me 10 minutes to find it. I think I function better in the organized chaos? Ha! 🙂
My card is made with the following supplies at My Favorite Things: Die-namics: Stitched Heart STAX, Wonky Stitched Rectangle STAX. Stamps: Label Maker Love. Stencil: Abstract. Card stock and Inks (Tickled Pink and Gravel Gray)
Instagraming fun: jilldhawkins
Thanks for popping in!
Another week, another MFT Sketch Challenge. Sketch #263 on the My Favorite Things Challenge & Inspiration blog. Yana’s guest projects over there this month are fun!! 🙂
Here’s my take: Love. This. Chemistry. ❤
I stamped gray on gray here, but the ink really soaked into the card stock overnight. Wacky.
Also, I believe this is a flask, not a beaker. But I color owls blue. So, you know. All is fair in creative endeavors, right? 😉
Laina’s newly released sets for January make me so very happy! The minute I saw it, I knew there was Undeniable Chemistry! 🙂
My card is made with the following supplies at My Favorite Things: Die-namics: LLD Chemistry Set, Basic Edges, File Folder Edges, Wonky Stitched Rectangle STAX (LOVE!), Stitched Fishtail Banners. Stamps: Undeniable Chemistry. Card stock and Inks.
Thanks for stopping in!
As mentioned previously, I give myself the pass on making our family Christmas cards. As much as I enjoy it, I sort of lose my mind somewhere along the production line. 🙂
Of course, time is even tighter in December, but I kept these very simple and managed them in one sitting. I mailed them out before Christmas, to my teammates! Whoot! 🙂 It’s the little victories!
I was also in a race with the mailman, so I snapped just a few quick photos. 🙂 While these cards are very similar, they are all slightly different. 🙂
Fun with non-holiday supplies! Always fun to stretch what you have in different ways. 🙂
Don’t forget, there is a little time left to participate in Sketch Challenge #260 and over a week left for joining Color Challenge #36 on the My Favorite Things Challenge & Inspiration blog!

This week’s sketch:
Here is my take this week:
Yum! I am a big fan of all Laina Lamb’s designs each month. They are always delicious aren’t they!? I may need to make a card with all of them on it! Hmm and mmmm! 🙂I pieced together different strips of card stock and then die cut it all with the Snow Drifts Cover-up. Another one I can’t stop using! 🙂
I squeezed in a second card this week because: Halloween!!!
I went a little STAR crazy on this one. If I had more time to redo, I’d have omitted the stars from the Trick or Treat die cut. But, alas, had to catch the daylight to photograph. 😉Happy Halloween! Trick or Treat’ers, Enjoy!! 🙂

Inspiration is EVERYWHERE. Literally.
Cath Edvalson has a new adventure: Hip and Hooray!! Well, I’ve always found Cath’s finds inspiring, so I wanted to participate in her inaugural Tuesday’s Take…details found HERE.
You can participate in these challenges as well. There are most certainly not limited to papercrafters, just your imagination. 🙂
This was the image she selected to inspire…and boy does it ever! Colors, pencils, rainbow…ahhhh! 🙂 I just had to make something.
I don’t do many pastel-ish colors, but I just am enamored with how this turned out…so maybe I should!? Hooray for Sherbet colors! 🙂 Enjoyable.

Thanks for popping in today and thanks to Cath for sharing fabulous, once again!
My Favorite Things: Summer School Session Three rolls on! Day 2.
Symmetry balanced proportions and Asymmetry The placement of non-identical forms to either side of a balancing point in a way that the two sides seem to be of the same visual weight but aren’t.
You want to pop over to the MFT Blog to be schooled. These lessons are well put together by Susan. 🙂
Here’s my take on the lesson: Asymmetry.
I’m all about symmetry in architecture. But there’s something about card making that makes it fun to rebel. 🙂
Hope you can check out all the fun on the My Favorite Things blog this week. The design teams have surely made plenty of cards to see and link to! A plethora of Inspiration!
If you missed yesterday, HERE is my card from that lesson 🙂

MFT Sketch Challenge #240 on My Favorite Things Challenge & Inspiration begins rockin’ today!
Here is this week’s sketch:This is my card for the week: One of my favorite Sketch cards to date. LOVE these dies.
I used a Fuse Green card base and stamped the new Wonky Chevron background on the inside. Adds a little fun for the recipient 🙂 “You Got This” = Awesomesauce.
I really enjoyed this week’s sketch, so I made another card. Then I had ideas for at least three more, but, it was almost midnight. 😉 Some other day…
Those little flags use the new August released Fringe die! Oh goodness, that’s a fun one too! 🙂 The Primitive White base gives a nice warmth to the card.
This one is being mailed to a friend…and it is WAY overdue. 😦
