Thinking of You

Yay for the weekend! I’m here to share a fun card using some sweetΒ Honey Bee Stamps!

I have been mailing a lot of cards and decided I needed some simple Thinking of You cards without a lot of bulk to replenish my stash and keep it going! So this little ditty fit the bill. Sweet, simple and fairly swift to make. πŸ™‚

This card uses Honey Bee Stamps: Heartfelt Stamp Set, Rainbow Wishes and Scallop A2 dies.

I stamped the hearts out with different colors of ink and then stamped the sentiment on a strip of cardstock to mount it, giving it all a little oomph. I didn’t want too much though. πŸ™‚

I die cut it out with the A2 Scallop frame and added some Bokeh Lights Confetti.

Hope you have some to make a few cards and mail them out this week too! πŸ™‚

Thank You!

Happy Saturday! Today I am here to share a little Thank You card using Honey Bee Stamps. I always need these for school, so here’s another one! πŸ™‚

The winter light is so not fun for photography, so please excuse the winter blah. I had to forgo my usual set up because the at the time I took this, there was no sun. None. haaaa!Β  πŸ™‚

This card features the Β Brilliant DayΒ and the coordinating dies HERE. I also used the Scallop A2 because I pretty much always do, don’t I? ha!! πŸ™‚

This card also had the Stained Glass Coverplate, but you can’t really see it because I layered some vellum over top….so I figured the close up would help show the detail. πŸ™‚

Taylored Expressions February Release: Day 2

Welcome back to Day Two of Taylored Expressions February Release Week! If you missed my post yesterday sharing day one, I’ll link you up down below. πŸ™‚

This first card features a new stamp: In the Meadow. This lovely floral stamp can be used for so many occasions and so many different ways. I can think of so many ways to stamp it already! I paired it with the Handlettered Sympathy sentiments. These stamped sentiments make these difficult cards say the heartfelt things we feel. (There is also a coordinating die to die cut these Handlettered Sympathy sentiments out.)

I stamped this with Blue Corn ink to create the silhouette flower part and sentiment and then blended on lots of TE inks with the TE Blender Brushes. It’s so lovely how they always blend out so quickly and smoothly! πŸ™‚

Next up, I have another card using Handlettered Sympathy and the new Botanical Beauty Background. Another floral stamp that is so easy to use for so many occasions and quickly or you can color it all in. The TE Creative Team made AMAZING cards coloring this lovely stamp in. You must check them out over at Taylored Expressions–jaw dropping gorgeous work! I’m telling you!

Because my Copic coloring skills are not as amazing πŸ˜‰ , I thought to try this one embossed with some TE Watercolor. I love how it turned out and these colors blended beautifully together in watercolor as well. πŸ™‚

You can find all my supplies and links to the Taylored Expressions Shop below.

Thinking of You!

Happy Weekend! I am back after a long hiatus of not being able to make anything. One word: Flu. I hope you have remained unscathed this season. It’s so abundant! But I digress….Let’s get to the card!

Today I am sharing this sweet little number from Honey Bee Stamps. A fun hot air balloon always wants to be a rainbow of colors in my mind.

This card features a few fave set of mine, Blown Away stamp set (coordinating dies for Blown Away HERE) with it’s sweet little banner sentiments. This card also features the afore mentioned balloon from UP UP and Away and coordinating dies HERE.

While I usually use the Bokeh Lights ConfettiΒ  this time I used the Aurora Lights confetti. These have all kinds of colors reflected off them and I thought them perfect to use here.

I blended on some inks using the Honey Bee Blender brushes and blended on the sky using the Mountain Z Fold Stencils. I love to have Thinking of You cards on hand and ones that can be made in bulk. The. Best. πŸ™‚

Bad Influence :)

Happy Weekend! I’m here this cold Saturday morning to share another cute card from at Honey Bee Stamps! This is a fun one and perfect to send a friend of mine–Haaa!

This card features the cute little pig from the Bad Influence stamp set (and dies HERE). It’s funny because I first colored him and then decided I wanted to use some more of the cute patterned paper from Sweet on You instead.

I added the sweet little hearts from the Bee Mine dies. Combined with the paper and the Sweet on You Gems from Sweet on You, I think this little card turned out pretty darn cute! Totally different than I was starting out to make, but the patterned paper stamping is fun and I haven’t done that in awhile. Now, if only I could get some daylight to take decent photos this week…. gah! Boo!

I also used Honey Bee’s (new stencils) Mountain Z Fold StencilsΒ ,Grass Border die and Bokeh Lights Confetti, of course! πŸ™‚

Today, I had to share a card using the cute little bee, Bee Mine, that is FREE with a $50 or more purchase! Eeep! πŸ™‚ I paired him with this sentiment from the new Blown Away stamp set (coordinating dies for Blown Away HERE) and new paper pad, Sweet on You. The Honey Bee Paper pads are always FULL of awesome patterns and divine colors!

I colored the sweet bee with Copics before die cutting him out. I die cut the Sweet on You paper with the Scallop A2 dies I added some stitching details to the PP. After that, I added the cute Bee with some foam adhesive. I added some Bokeh Lights Confetti  and some gems from the Holiday Traditions set.

Taylored Expressions January Release: Day 2

Welcome back to Day Two of Taylored Expressions January Release Week! If you missed my post yesterday sharing day one, I’ll link you up down below. πŸ™‚

This first card features a new stamp and die: Big Grumpy Cat. Ok–this sentiment is absolutely HILARIOUS to me!!! Bwaaahaaaaha!!! Just when Big Grumpy Cat cannot be funnier, he so is! πŸ™‚

I colored him with Copic markers and heat embossed the Shiplap Background before creating a little window behind him that I scored for some more texture back there. I also added these new bits from TE! πŸ™‚

Next up, I have another little laugh!! If you can’t tell, I love making and sending funny cards. Laughter is so good for you! πŸ™‚ This is the new Sarcasti-CHUCK!!! And check out his clothes–those are Sarcasti-CHUCK’s Wardrobe! Haaaa! What a dresser he is, don’t you think?

I colored everything with Copics before adhering all together and to the card front with foam adhesive. That sentiment is just so funny and I am so using that on my husband’s Valentine this year! πŸ™‚

I colored them with Copics and die cut them out, adding them to a simple card base that I scored and stitched. My fave! ❀ Plus, I mean, pun. Enough said. πŸ˜‰
