Eeeeps! Cutie little birds! I created a quick and simple Distress Ink watercolor back drop and when that dried, I stamped the birds in Versafine Black. I added some wonky stitches under their feet and sewed the watercolor panel onto the card front. πŸ™‚

I love the simple typed font with the curly script words! Delightful! πŸ™‚

This little bird I stamped on three same size pieces of cardstock and pieced them together. I added  a couple black strips and some stitching and Voila! πŸ™‚ SMILE! I love these kind of cards and I love to mail them!

These little birdies have coordinating dies, and those can be found HERE. I don’t have them, but I think they would be fun to use to layer up these little birds in flocks! πŸ™‚

While I have you, I thought it would be fun to share a couple coffee cards I made with TT’s new October goodies!

I just love how simple this first card is and how it turned out! I wish I have made a few more at the time.  πŸ™‚ I just used Hero Arts Unicorn Pigment ink on black paper to stamp this awesome coffee cup from the NEW Perk Up Stamp set.

This sentiment is from the Sassy Coffee set! Oh my word–these Sassy sets that Teri Anderson creates keep me cracking up time after time. I just think they are all a riot and can be found HERE.

This next card uses the same Sassy Coffee set, but over and over. Because I feel like that just needs repeating. πŸ™‚

I stamped the cute smiley coffee cup from the same set. You know I love any inanimate object that smiles. πŸ™‚ Haaaa!

I hope you are able to carve some time out today and create. I’m likely to do mine late tonight when our son goes to bed. But that’s normal. πŸ™‚ Have a great weekend and be sure to check out the new stuff from Technique Tuesday HERE!  πŸ™‚ Including this new Chickadees 2.0 WCMD set!

Take care- Jill πŸ™‚

STAMPtember: Technique Tuesday set!

Happy [Technique] Tuesday! Exciting news about a new Simon Says Stamp/Technique Tuesday STAMPtember Set in the house! You can check out the new set, Sassy You’re Not Normal (haaaa!) HERE! It is SUPER funny!

I thought I’d share some cards I made with this new set. I had the foresight to think ahead and make a few at once. There were originally 6, but I was having some trouble stamping that night, (LOL!!) so only three made it to the finish line! Haaaaa! πŸ™‚

For these cards, I also used the delightful Enjoyed Layered Flower Stamp set. Isn’t that Sunflower fun!?

These new sentiments on this SS/TT set are so freaking awesome and CRACK ME UP!! πŸ™‚

How funny about the dryer!? So true! I stamped the dryer repeatedly in orange and gray inks. πŸ™‚

And to finish off, I had to also use this sentiment, so I colored for Kathy’s Daily Marker 30 Day Challenge with it! πŸ™‚ Have you joined in The Daily Marker 30 Day? There’s still time! It’s quite fun and great practice! I have no idea how Kathy keeps up with all?!! Amazing! You can check out all my misgivings and successes HERE on Instagram!

Be sure to hop over and check out the new STAMPtember Goodies from Simon Says Stamp HERE and everything new from Technique Tuesday HERE!Β  πŸ™‚ Lots of fun stuff to add to your wish list! Though this Technique Tuesday/Simon Says Stamp set, Sassy You’re Not Normal set is a Limited Edition! So don’t delay! πŸ™‚

*Right at Home with MISTI!*

Good Morning, All! You should have arrived to my blog here via Ceal Pritchett‘s blog! πŸ™‚

Today, we are having a fun blog hop between the My Sweet Petunia and the Right at Home design teams! And oh, how FUN is THAT?! DE-lightful. πŸ™‚

Buckle up, there are prizes!!

There will be a drawing for two winners from all the comments on the hop, so please leave a comment on every blog to be eligible to win one of two prizes: Winner’s choice of an original or mini MISTI, and a prize package from Right at Home (Sunflower stamp set, Harvest Blessings stamp set (new release) and two Distress Oxide Inks – in Cracked Pistachio and Peeled Paint).

Deadline for comments is September 8th at noon Central, and winners will be posted on the My Sweet Petunia and Right at Home blogs on Tuesday September 12th.

I’m excited to be sharing two cards today that I made with Right at Home stamps and the Most Incredible Stamping Tool from My Sweet Petunia!

My cards were all made with Right at Home’s super easy to use Anemone set! It’s an awesome set that can be used in quite a variety of ways.

For this card, I used an ombre ink pad. This solid fade is quite lovely with these flowers! I think I would have a hot mess if I had to stamp this repeatedly with an acrylic block vs. MISTI. I have never been good at lining things up. (If I made this one again, I might add a few white pen details. πŸ™‚ #hindsightΒ  What do you think?)

This sentiment is from RAH’s set, Make Something Beautiful.

Apparently, I was on a pink kick when I made these. ❀ ! But they look lovely in pink, right? I also learned how many pink ink pads I have. #completelynecessary  Haaaaa!
The MISTI makes using this RAH layering set flawless to line up or offset consistently. This is a must for me–I often need to fix spots I missed or need better ink coverage. πŸ™‚
Β For the first card above, I also used Right at Home’s Color in Sentiments and Grid Background Stamp. Love this wonky grid!
Such fun! I often don’t know what I did before MISTI?! Too funny! I do however use my MISTI backwards. Does anyone else do this? I know it’s “backwards” because whenever I see anyone else use it, they do it the reverse way. Also, as you can see in my photos above, my numbers are upside down. Another indication I use it backwards. But it works awesome any which way, so there you go! πŸ™‚ LOL!
Here’s the list of all the fun stops today! Be sure to hop along and leave comments for your chances at the prizes spelled out above! πŸ™‚

I hope you have a chance to hop through all these sure to be amazing stops!Β  Also, be sure to check out the latest Right at Home release and if you don’t have a MISTI, add it to the top of your Holiday Wish List. It is a complete game changer in the stamping world. πŸ™‚

Head on over to Maria Sabina‘s blog stop next! πŸ™‚

Wishing you all a wonderful week!

Technique Tuesday Flamingo FUN!

Happy Weekend! I am excited to share these cards I made with the September Release from Technique Tuesday! They can be found HERE!

I keep laughing at the sentiments is this super fun stamp set: Floyd and Frannie Flamingo stamp set and coordinating dies. So. Much. Fun.

I painted this background with my Kuretake watercolors and the flamingos with Copic Markers. This sentiment still makes me laugh to read it! πŸ™‚For this second card, I created a background with lots of masked off flamingos. Again, I colored these flamingos with Copic Markers and die cut them out. I white heat embossed the sentiment and die cut it out with the Postage Card die.

This has to be my favorite sentiment of the bunch. SO cracks me up! πŸ™‚

Be sure to hop over and check out the new stuff from Technique Tuesday HERE!  πŸ™‚ Lots of fun stuff!

Have an awesome weekend!

Love Ya Bunches

Hope your weekend has been fantastic so far! πŸ™‚

I love this little set: Lawn Fawn/Ellen Hutson United We Flourish Love Ya’ Bunches. I have been wanting to monkey around with it again and I finally got around to it πŸ™‚ .

Eeeeek! So fun! And this paper is hoard worthy, but I am trying my best to use my favorites too vs. saving them. LOL. But the rainbow–want to keep forever–ha! ❀I stamped everything and then used my Zig Clean Color markers to watercolor these cuties on Bristol paper. It turned out so fun, and my son is going to love finding it in his lunchbox Monday!

Oh this little bear is from Lawn Fawn’s You’re Claw-some set. ❀ those little guys. πŸ™‚

I’m entering this for the Lawn FawnaticsΒ Challenge #11 HERE!Have a great weekend! Thank you for stopping by! πŸ™‚

Right at Home’s New Release!

Happy Tuesday, all! I’m super excited to be over at the Right at Home blog today, celebrating their NEW release available now! Everything new can be found HERE! πŸ˜‰ It’s full ofΒ  flowery goodness! πŸ™‚

(Be sure to head over to the RAH Blog to read more about both these cards! <3)
I used the lovely new Anemone set for both these cards.
Lovely flowers, right? Eeeep! πŸ™‚Β  (I used Kuretake Gansai Tambi Pearl paints)
Next up, is a card I made using the layering parts of the Anemone set. I made several more of these cards, and I will be sure to share them in a couple of weeks! Yay!
These look fantastic with the dye and pigment ink mix on kraft!

For both of these cards, I used sentiments from RAH’s previously released set, Make Something Beautiful. You can check out another card I made a little while back HERE.

I hope you have a chance to check out all of the new Right at Home release! Thank you so very much to Nicole, for having me along to celebrate the fun! I really enjoyed working with this new set!

Have a great Tuesday!

Happy Monday! I thought a few of these TT cards I made were fitting for today, being Monday and all. πŸ™‚ The full July release from Technique Tuesday can be found HERE!

How about this one? LOL. It’s hot out and I’m in road trip recovery, so this sounds good to me! πŸ™‚

I used Technique Tuesday’s new Sweet Succulents set ( ❀ ) and Sassy Lazy Thoughts. This new Sassy set is a freaking riot!! πŸ™‚ For this card, I watercolored with my Zig Clean Color markers on Bristol paper.

Next up, Lorenzo the Llama set and coordinating dies HERE. I type his name and I giggle still!

Spit happens! Perfect! LOL! I colored Lorenzo with Copic Markers and die cut the Memo Pad Die from patterned paper.

And last, but not least for today,Β  we have this little number:

Bwwwahhhahhaaa! I used the Sassy Lazy Thoughts set again, along with the Planner stamp set called Planner Yum! Again, this was watercolored with Zig markers and stitched up to finish it off! πŸ™‚

Be sure to check outΒ  Technique Tuesday HERE!Β  πŸ™‚
