Right at Home’s New Release!

Happy Tuesday, all! I’m super excited to be over at the Right at Home blog today, celebrating their NEW release available now! Everything new can be found HERE! πŸ˜‰ It’s full ofΒ  flowery goodness! πŸ™‚

(Be sure to head over to the RAH Blog to read more about both these cards! <3)
I used the lovely new Anemone set for both these cards.
Lovely flowers, right? Eeeep! πŸ™‚Β  (I used Kuretake Gansai Tambi Pearl paints)
Next up, is a card I made using the layering parts of the Anemone set. I made several more of these cards, and I will be sure to share them in a couple of weeks! Yay!
These look fantastic with the dye and pigment ink mix on kraft!

For both of these cards, I used sentiments from RAH’s previously released set, Make Something Beautiful. You can check out another card I made a little while back HERE.

I hope you have a chance to check out all of the new Right at Home release! Thank you so very much to Nicole, for having me along to celebrate the fun! I really enjoyed working with this new set!

Have a great Tuesday!

Some Monday-ness…

Happy Monday! I thought a few of these TT cards I made were fitting for today, being Monday and all. πŸ™‚ The full July release from Technique Tuesday can be found HERE!

How about this one? LOL. It’s hot out and I’m in road trip recovery, so this sounds good to me! πŸ™‚

I used Technique Tuesday’s new Sweet Succulents set ( ❀ ) and Sassy Lazy Thoughts. This new Sassy set is a freaking riot!! πŸ™‚ For this card, I watercolored with my Zig Clean Color markers on Bristol paper.

Next up, Lorenzo the Llama set and coordinating dies HERE. I type his name and I giggle still!

Spit happens! Perfect! LOL! I colored Lorenzo with Copic Markers and die cut the Memo Pad Die from patterned paper.

And last, but not least for today,Β  we have this little number:

Bwwwahhhahhaaa! I used the Sassy Lazy Thoughts set again, along with the Planner stamp set called Planner Yum! Again, this was watercolored with Zig markers and stitched up to finish it off! πŸ™‚

Be sure to check outΒ  Technique Tuesday HERE!Β  πŸ™‚

Happy Monday–I hope you all power through!

Done Adulting

If you missed my post yesterday for the new Essentials by Ellen Release, check it out HERE! I am elated to have joined in the new release fun!

Today, I’m sharing this card made with Julie Ebersole’s new Mermaid’s Tail set. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, Julie is a serious threat to my pocketbook! LOL! ❀

This is my FAVORITE sentiment! ❀ !! For this I colored directly on the mermaid stamp with my Zig Clean Color makers and then sprayed a bit of water on before stamping it on watercolor paper. I then added the sentiment and some stitching. I was surprised at how well it turned out! πŸ™‚

For my second card today, I used Brandi Kincaid’s new set, Crafty Lady and coordinating dies. Gah! πŸ™‚

This sentiment rocks for so many crafty friends! πŸ™‚

For this card, I stamped them with Versafine Black ink and used Zig Clean Color markers to watercolor. (I’m not super skilled at skin nor hair. Yikes! Poor lady. LOL)  I thought she looked a lot like me in the end, with paint and ink all over her shirt! πŸ™‚

Here’s a look at the sets:

The sentiment on the second card is from the Crafty Ladies Say set.

SUCH FUN! Thank you again to all the fabulous peeps at Ellen Hutson! πŸ™‚ Yay!!
Have a great Thursday!

Essentials by Ellen NEW RELEASE!

I am SO excited to share a couple of cards I made for the new Essentials by Ellen Release! I could not be more thrilled to help celebrate the fun! Especially because when I hear a whiff of a new EH release, I wait with crafty excitement!

Ok–on with the cards already! πŸ™‚

For this first card, I used Brandi Kincaid’s new set, Crafty Lady and coordinating dies. Too fun!

How stinkin’ cute is this little tote stamp AND all these fun sayings?! I knew I had to use them all, and I finally figured out how. LOL. Totes people! πŸ˜‰

For these, I stamped them with Versafine Black ink and used Zig Clean Color markers to watercolor an ombrΓ© look in. For stamping the background, I used the Essentials by Ellen Wonky Backdrops set. (I use this set A LOT.) πŸ™‚

Here’s a better look at the whole set:

Soooooooooo fun! I love the handwriting “font”!

I have made a handful of cards thus far, using the new release. I thought I’d share one more today and then be back with more soon!

This is made with the new set, Crafty Ladies Say set. I just love the impact of these stamps!

For this, I made a watercolored panel using Distress Inks. When that dried (patience, grasshopper, patience), I heat embossed this sentiment right on top. For the stars, I again used the Essentials by Ellen Wonky Backdrops set. πŸ™‚

Here is a look at this whole set:

Head over and check out all the new release! I think it might be one of my favorites yet! I’ll be back soon, sharing a little mermaid action. That’s right, Mermaids. ❀

Thank you so much to everyone at Ellen Hutson for having me along to celebrate this new awesomeness! Special thanks to Carly for being so organized and super kind! What a fun experience it has all been!

See you all back here with a couple more cards SOON!

Technique Tuesday: July!

The start of July means new stamps and dies from Technique Tuesday ! They can be found HERE! There is always something for everyone in TT’s releases. πŸ™‚

First up, we have the new owl for the month: Hi There Owl. I might have a new favorite? This one cracks me up because it reminds of trying to take selfies with friends. Key word: Trying! LOL! This owl is the new edition to all the little owl sets that can be found HERE.

How cute is this owl!? Gah! I used the Pocket of Love die for the frame.

Next up, the new Lorenzo the Llama set and coordinating dies HERE. That name makes me laugh every time I read it! Bwaaahahhaa! “No Prob-Llama”! I die. πŸ™‚Lorenzo’s set has the punniest llama sentiments that I ❀ !! “Llama Tell You How Much I Like You”. Big hit in my book. I colored this guy with Copic Markers and die cut him out. I added some patterned paper and stitched it on. Boom! Complete! Love that kind of card! I always feel like I’ve really done something when I use some of my PP. πŸ˜‰

Last card, but not least for today, is this summerific card using the new At the Beach stamp set. This is one of those cards I did not like when I made it. The next day, I did! LOL! I think it’s beachy keen!

For this card, I masked off an area on a watercolor paper panel. I then stamped and white embossed all the images. I watercolored over them with my Kuretake Gansai watercolors. I even used some of the blue pearl one, which in person, looks fun and sparkly! I always forget how opaque these paints are. Which is why I didn’t like the results at first. But after I got over my “intended look”, I liked it! Phew! πŸ™‚

(How awkward is the angle I took the below photo at? LOL! I only realize it now, and cannot redo because I already mailed it! πŸ˜‰ )

One more quick share is this new set, It’s a Masterpiece. It’s such a funny little set that I think all project makers would enjoy stamping on the back of cards, or anything you make. Cracks. Me. Up.

HOURS to make. YES! HOURS!! Haaaaa!

Be sure to check out ALL the new stuff from Technique Tuesday HERE!Β  πŸ™‚

Happy Holiday weekend to those celebrating!

Enjoy- Jill πŸ™‚

Let’s Hang

Happy Friday–and beginning of a long holiday weekend for some here in the US! Yay! πŸ™‚

I received the new Lawn Fawn/Ellen Hutson United We Flourish Love Ya’ Bunches in the mail last night! Whooooot!! Super crazy fast shipping, EH! Thank you! ❀️

I thought I’d take advantage of my night, and get right to it! This set is super cute and so fun with all its lil’ bits and sentiments to mix and match! Eeeep! πŸ™‚

I made pink monkeys!! How do these things come to be? LOL! I’m thinking that I should have made blue bananas while I was at it! Haaaa!

I clear embossed all the elements and then used my Zig Clean Color markers to watercolor this cuties on Bristol paper. I stamped all the leaves in green ink directly. Again, alarmed at how many green inkpads I have! πŸ˜‰ Totally normal. (Haaa!!)

I’m entering this for the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #7 HERE!

Have an AWESOME weekend! Thank you for stopping by! πŸ™‚

Happy Trails

Happy Tuesday! Today I am sharing a card that I fought to finish! LOL!Β  I kept having mishaps/mistakes, but in the end, I prevailed and finished it! (I won’t tell you how long that took!)

I was all done with the Copic coloring and dropped water on the camper while making the background with Distress Inks. Hence, making the decision where the sentiment would go! Haaaaa! Usually I’m super careful, but….. well, you should see my desk this week. Yikes. *rolls eyes*

I’ll spare you all the other flubs, but man, sometimes projects test you, don’t they?Β  And the debate about using the grill or not using the grill went on for several minutes. In the end, I decided these campers were hungry. πŸ˜‰

For this card, I used the fabulously fun Avery Elle set Glamper Campers! Oh my word, this set! ❀ (That flamingo alone! I want to make a card with just that little fella!) I have been pining for it, and finally used a friend’s set back in April. I stamped and die cut a bunch of images then. Now I am ready to make more. Saves a lot of time later! Except when you keep making a mess! LOL. πŸ™‚

Thanks for stopping by! Happy Trails!
