MFT Color Challenge #28

It’s the 2nd Thursday of the month and off we go! Color Challenge #28 is on the My Favorite Things Challenge & Inspiration blog! Be sure to hop there as the other girls CERTAINLY rocked this! 🙂

My go at it: I am so digging Tropical Teal right now! 🙂

I know, I used the Four Way Chevron Cover-up again…but I had to! It’s awesome!! 🙂

In my continuing effort to make quicker cards now-and-again (ha!), I made this one below with remnants and pieces made previously for other cards. That sure makes it quicker!! LOL 😉Then, I accidentally starting stitching in the wrong place. Soooo, that placement was decided. Nuts. I’m not sure I’m loving it overall, but there are some takeaways for sure 😉

Inspiration…

Inspiration is EVERYWHERE. Literally.

Cath Edvalson has a new adventure: Hip and Hooray!! Well, I’ve always found Cath’s finds inspiring, so I wanted to participate in her inaugural Tuesday’s Take…details found HERE.

You can participate in these challenges as well. There are most certainly not limited to papercrafters, just your imagination. 🙂

This was the image she selected to inspire…and boy does it ever! Colors, pencils, rainbow…ahhhh! 🙂 I just had to make something.

I don’t do many pastel-ish colors, but I just am enamored with how this turned out…so maybe I should!? Hooray for Sherbet colors! 🙂 Enjoyable.

Here’s my card for the week:

I double die cut the Jumbo Dot Cover Up after inlaying the first set of circles. When you do this, you can’t exactly tell where you are cutting because the die is solid, but it worked out. 🙂Polka dots… love ’em! 🙂

I made a second card with some left over dots. It’s been a week of “hmmm, that’s not quite what I was thinking it would look like…”. Too funny. It’s still fun to send a shaker, right?

I popped up the black front panel in hopes that Sour Apple would show through the window a bit, but…not so much. Ha!! 😉It’s already growing on me more though. 🙂
