Happy 2018!! I hope you are ready to rock a fun year ahead! 🙂
I’m popping in tonight to share a few cards I made with Technique Tuesday’s newly released, Love Stinks set. OK. I might enjoy this set a little too much, but come on, how stinkin’ fun is this!? 🙂
Eeeeep! I cannot tell you how much this cracks me up! 🙂
And then of course, I had to make two…for good measure and for practicing to color that cute little smiling pile! 🙂
I also used some patterned paper!! Hey hey! Off to a good start here in 2018 using some stash! I’m hoping to widdle my PP even further so I can invest in some new pads by 2019? Hmmm. 🙂
Along with those fun stamps, is this TP roll. I was cracking up when I saw it! 🙂 That’s How I Roll. I die. 🙂 ❤ it!
Some sparkle on these adds a little more interest in person. 🙂
I kept all these cards very simple, using some Copic Markers, Wink of Stella, Glossy Accents, Confetti sequins, Nuvo dots and twine, before adding some finishing stitching with my sewing machine. I’m thinking my husband will get a laugh and I love sending some smiles in the mail! 🙂
Thanks for stopping by and I hope your New Year is a FABULOUS one! 🙂
Take care- Jill 🙂
MFT Sketch Challenge #236 on My Favorite Things Challenge & Inspiration is rolling out today! Oh and we have the talented Kalyn Kepner with us this month!!
Here is this week’s sketch:This is my card for the week: A little shaker action! How much do I enjoy these new background stamps!!? 🙂I used the Wink of Stella to brush over the sentiment giving it a little something, but darn, that thing is hard to photograph, especially with the added acetate and shiny stars! Ha!! I think I’d just heat emboss it next time 😉
Blueprints 26: Oh yes!
I enjoyed making a second card with this sketch. I made these a week+ apart, but geesh, are there similarities or what? 😉
This Balloon Strings background makes my crafty heart go pitter-patter. What fun this can be! 🙂
The amount of debate I had over whether both of these balloons should have a string or not? You can see which way I went 🙂
My shaker card is made with the following supplies at My Favorite Things:

Here’s a peek at my card this week: I could piece these chevrons ALL DAY! Love ’em!
Here’s the sketch 🙂 Here’s another take on this sketch. I sort of reversed the shapes on this one…circles for rectangle, rectangle for circle 🙂 Again, with the stripes. I decided I can’t stop. I just love them too much 😉
This is one of those cards when you have an idea in your head & then you end up with a different result that wasn’t quite your vision. Oh well. I enjoyed making it nonetheless. 😉
