Christmas In July from Scrapbook.com!

Happy Weekend to everyone! Hope you are enjoying some time to relax and maybe make something this weekend? I have been busy celebrating Christmas in July with some fun goodies from Scrapbook.com! I am always happy to have things done and ready and ahead of time and Holiday cards ready to go in July–the best! There is a BIG Christmas In July sale HERE! Be sure to hop over there ASAP so you don’t miss it!

I worked with lots of fun products and new to me products from Scrapbook.com and I’m here today to share the scoop. Let’s get to some cards, shall we? For these first two cards, I used the Slimline Christmas Foliage and Merry Sentiments. I also had fun using the Pops of Color to create the dimensional dots.

This Slimline Christmas Foliage stamp is FULL Slimline Size, but I thought it would be fun to stretch it, literally, and instead get two 4 bar cards out of it. 🙂

First, I stamped the using different ink colors and after I used the Pops of Color, letting them dry before moving forward.

I stamped the Merry Sentiments and added them to another backer piece before stitching them together.

These were fun to make!

Next up, I wanted to use the Fa La La in the Slimline Christmas Foliage stamp set and I thought a little rainbow action for the holidays would be fun.

I inked these up using different colors to create an ombre rainbow look.

I also used the Mint Tape here. This tape is intended as a tool for project making, as it is a low tack tape that won’t stick when you don’t want it to. However, I ❤ the color, so I used it on this card! Shhhhhh don’t tell anyone. 🙂

I finished them both off with a little scoring and stitching. These are perfect for mailing because they are flat and easy to create in multiples.

Last up, I thought it would be cool to make a Christmas card that we all know is only for this season–dating it with the current year! So easy to do. This would be even better if you added a cutie pic of your kid(s) or family.

For this card, I used the Snowflakes Stencil and Classic Type: Numbers and Characters. I die cut these from the Christmas Smooth Cardstock Paper and layered them on with foam tape.

To ink on the Snowflakes Stencil, I used the Ink Blending Tool with Domed Foam. This is my new favorite little tool–love the dome shape! I added some white dots with a white gel pen for extra fun before stitching it all together to finish it off. 🙂

Oh and the Merry Christmas is from the Merry Sentiments. I got a lot of use out of this small set!

I love having a stack of cards ready to go! Hopefully you are inspired to get your holiday cards started too and take advantage of the great sale at Scrapbook.com NOW!
