Let’s Celebrate!

Happy Day to you! We are officially in the hot zone of summer now!

I thought I’d share a few cards I made a couple weeks ago using products from The Greetery . One is similar to my last Greetery post and the others are new using party fun! And pssssst–there is a SALE over at The Greetery NOW through tomorrow, July 2nd! Be sure to check it out HERE.

These first two cards use the The Pinwheel Party Bundle from The Greetery . My original thinking was I was going to just try out the stencil and then go back and use colors I picked. But once I finished these “test runs” I thought, well, these aren’t tragic! I’ll use them! Next time, I’ll think through colors vs. just grabbing randomly to try the stencils. 🙂

I think these are festive!

Good for a birthday or just anytime to celebrate, right?

Party!

Lastly for this card, I used the Oopsie Daisy Stamp Set and Coordinating Dies, HERE and HERE. I also used the Just Mason Around Stamps HERE and Coordinating Dies HERE. The sentiment is from the Sentiment Suite: Thinking of You stamp set HERE.

The green and the peach might be my favorite! 🙂

You can check out my other Daisy cards in THIS post HERE.

I used Taylored Expressions Stripes Stencil set for the backgrounds. Love those!! 🙂

Take care–Jill 🙂

Thinking of You…

Happy Monday! Hopefully you had a nice weekend. Our weather was once again amazing, so no complaints here. It’s going to be continuously hot soon, I’m sure, so I’m trying to enjoy it while it lasts. 🙂

I thought I’d pop in and share a few cards I made using some fun (new to me) goodies from  The Greetery . I wanted to have a few lovely cards on hand and ready to send, so I thought these sweet flowers with their jars fit the bill.

For these cards, I used the Oopsie Daisy Stamp Set and Coordinating Dies, HERE and HERE. I also used the Just Mason Around Stamps HERE and Coordinating Dies HERE. Oh and the sentiments are from the Sentiment Suite: Thinking of You stamp set HERE.

Love how these flowers layer and these jars– ❤ ! So fun!

I used a bunch of different inks that I have and just mixed them up for layering and crossed my fingers each time they would work. I definitely got lucky! It is no fun to have two layers down and the third to not work with the other two! 😉

I also love my green jars, so I thought I’d try that one here…

I think it turned out pretty good?

I ended up die cutting the flowers and stems separately and gluing them together because I might have made a couple errors on my directional stamping, but I think it all worked out… so let’s keep that on the downlow. I think in the end, it actually looks intentional, so maybe we’ll go with…Yes! I meant to do that! 😉

And one more with the pink background of stripes….

I used Taylored Expressions Stripes Stencil set for the backgrounds. Love those!! 🙂

These little Greetery elements all come together to make a lovely card–or several, don’t they?! 🙂

The Greetery: Confetti Collection!

Hello Crafty Friends! Such fun to share here today! I am sharing these cards I made with the new Greetery Confetti Collection to celebrate the Greetery’s One Year Anniversary ♥️!! 🙂 What fun to celebrate with Betsy and her amazing team!

The Greetery always has such fun and amazing releases and of course, this month is no exception! It’s delightful, as always. (and there’s a fun giveaway! Details below!)

For my cards, I used the new Think Happy Stamp + Cut combo , as well as the previously released Silver Lining die.

On this first card, I focused mostly on the sweet little cloud in the Think Happy Stamp + Cut combo. I thought it would be fun to die cut it and inlay all the bits. 🙂

The trick is to NOT lose the bits while you are doing this. 😉

Happy Day indeed!! This turned out so lovely and sweet.

Next up, I chose to use just the new rainbow and the sentiments from the Think Happy Stamp + Cut combo. These in conjunction with the Silver Lining die turned out so happy!

The little strips of clouds–eep! I thought it would be fun to use those too.

Next up, I wanted to just stamp the sentiments from the Think Happy Stamp set. Sentiments with *boundaries* are ideal for doing this type of design. (In other words (no pun intended), sentiments that don’t have Y’s, G’s, etc. swooping down–justifies fonts.)

This card is ideal for mailing. I purposely kept it very simple so I could do just that. 🙂

Happy Happy! 🙂

Simple score lines and some stitching to finish it all off.

And last but not least, I combined everything together to create this fun delight!

I used the Silver Lining die as a stencil before adding the rainbow and the sweet cloud in. OH, Happy Day! This one is the best of all worlds and I think will be a fun one to send a friend.

I added a few stitches and some ink splats to finish this one off. Gah! I love all these little Greetery elements that make it all so cheerful! What fun!
