For my card today, I used the soon-to-be-released Embroidery Hoop Die!! I also used the new Stitched Circle Die for making the inside rainbow! You are going to love them too… just sayin’ 😉

The Embroidery Hoop Die works swimmingly with the new Stitched Circle Die. I cannot tell you how excited I was that Kim designed these new dies! They are so awesome to combine paper crafting and stitching! I just die cut a bunch of these circles and take them with me to stitch. Love that!

Honestly, I stitched this up just like I make a card. No real plan or sketch, I just start out with an idea in my head, and hope something shakes out. I counted from the center and crossed my fingers! If you found patterns online or in books, you could make this even more fantastic, but I just started stitching. Fortunately, I thought the result was sweet. 🙂 If I did it again, I may have not stitched in that HELLO (?). 🙂

I also enjoy this Embroidery Hoop die as just a frame on a card. AND these cross-stitch dies make my favorite embossed backgrounds! Just the perfect amount of interest and texture.

For my card today, I used the super-fun-soon-to-be-released Snowman Card Die!!

I know this is confusing because it is the Snowman Card Die and this is clearly a penguin, but somehow that was the first thing I made! 🙂 I think the carrot nose got stuck under something and the rest is history. 🙂 I think it’s fun to see other things dies can do too.

Eeeeeeep! Isn’t he super cute?! I have snowman bits all over my desk, so I will be sharing an actual snowman next month as well. 😉

Also, for this card, I used the soon to be released All Year Cheer for this simple sentiment. This forthcoming set is one of those sets you can use all year round! I also used the previously released Santa Card dies for his hat, and the Sweets Dies for his pom-pom! Yup, that cupcake worked swimmingly! 😉

I overhung his hat and scarf, but the card is slightly narrow overall, so this should easily fit into an envelope I have on hand. More likely however, this will be on a package delivery for the Holidays!

For my project today, I used the very-soon-to-be-released-uber-cute Paper Smooches Baby Bird Icon dies…and of course, the new stamp set Baby Birds! If you could see how many Baby Birds I have colored and die cut into a pile already… 🙂 haaaaa!

Are these guys not the tweetest!? AND there are a bunch more on this awesome new Baby Bird set! I colored these with my Copic markers and just added some stitching on the card panel. Meep!

Also, for the background of this card, I used the Flower Frames dies as a stencil with some Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide Ink. I added the sentiment and the cutie birds to the panel with foam dimensional adhesive. I just ❤ them! That “meep” makes me smile! 🙂

AND, we have something special to share…we partnered up with XYRON this week.

Our designers received Xyron adhesives to use on their October projects and Xyron’s design team were given Paper Smooches stamps to create with. They are sharing their Paper Smooches cards on the their blogs this week. You can find them all HERE

For my project today, I used the super fun and festive new Paper Smooches Santa Card dies! Eeeeeeeeep! How cute is he?! 🙂 🙂

Bonus that we received Xyron adhesives to use on our projects this month! The Xyron sticker maker makes this Santa a breeze to piece together. I am always amazed when I peel up that plastic topper and BOOM: Sticker! Love. It. You can check out the Xyron Sticker Maker HERE. It’s a staple for a crafty stash. 😉

For Santa’s face, I decided it would be fun to use the Flower Frames dies. These Santa Card dies cut a larger beard to fill a card front, but I trimmed mine down to work on the Flower Frame. I added a little Liquid Applique to his hat brim and a huge pom-pom! 🙂 Oh what fun it is!

His cheeks are rosy!! 🙂 For the background, I used Paper Smooches Graffiti alpha set to create the repeated HO HO HO! Don’t you just love his bushy eyebrows?! ❤

I also used the Xyron Mega Tape Runner to adhere the larger elements and the panel to the card base. I am a fan of this tape runner because I don’t have to refill it nearly as often as I do some of my smaller runners. Big fan of that! Thank you for sharing your awesome stickiness with us this month Xyron! 😉

Are you ready? I literally yelped when I saw this cuuuuutie!!! Oh my word! 🙂 They make me so happy!

I cut them out of fun foam, and I wasn’t sure about the “textured” look that occurred. However my son, who ❤ ❤ ❤ these guys, liked it because “she is furry”! So, hey, I ran with it! 🙂

And of course, added a GIANT googley eye to each! 🙂 I laugh all over again! I mean, “I only have eye for you”. I can’t EVEN! ❤ ❤ ❤

Here’s my fun projects to share today!

Eeeeeep! How awesome are these new Flower Frames Dies?! I made these cards before I trimmed the dies apart, and look at the bonus coolness you get!

I have since trimmed them apart, and therefore now have three fun little frames and this adorable heart! I love this heart. (I’m kinda picky about hearts and I definitely ❤ this ❤ !) ha!

The fantastic part about these cards is, when you die cut the Flower Frame Dies like this from several different cardstocks, you can piece them together for quick cards! I’ll probably have about four-five cards from this one die cut lot. Love that! 🙂

These sentiments are both from Paper Smooches’ Kindness Sampler. Fantastic set full of 🙂 sentiments!

On with my project!!

How delightfully calming is this new Dove Die? Goodness. I find it so peaceful. I also used the forthcoming new stamp set, Faith Sampler.

I watercolored with Distress Inks: Picked Raspberry, Spiced Marmalade (I think?), and Mustard Seed. I die cut the dove several times and layered them up for a stronger look. Such a great die for many occasions of cards. 🙂

I’ll have lots more Paper Smooches fun to share in July! Whooohooo! I can’t wait for you all to see the fun coming!

Here’s my card!

I see this, and I SMILE! Oh my word, this cactus!! And this sentiment! ❤

This die is the forthcoming Cactus Die and the sentiment is from the soon to be released, Kindness Sampler. That’s right, the “Kindness Sampler”. Gah! ❤

I adore Kim’s little smiling creations! Each time I receive them, I squeal! Just so fun!

Also, on this card, I used the previously released Super Star Dies and the Cross Stitch Die. (I posted another card I made with the cross stitch die HERE.) I blended on a few distress inks, and then embossed this card with the Cross Stitch die. I added the star strip, Cactus, and stamped the sentiment. I finished it off with stitching the panel onto the card base, adding a few sequins, and getting it ready to mail! 🙂

For this card, I used the soon to be released, New Beginnings stamp set! This set has an awesome variety of stamps to celebrate special and everyday occasions. 🙂

I was so happy how this turned out! Honestly, I was afraid it was going to be a mess, but in the end, I ❤ it!! 🙂 This rose is fantastic in its simplicity, for people like me.

I watercolored these with my Zig markers and added a “few” little pixels in after it was all dry.

Hope you are excited for the release too! I can’t wait to make some more things myself! 🙂

Once again, Paper Smooches sentiments do not fail to delight! This Thank You is from the new forthcoming Pineapple Crush 2 stamp set and this AWESOME pineapple is the new Pineapple 2 Die. Ooooo it’s fun! I love this typeface and its bold statement, perfect for repeated linear stamping! ❤

I was definitely sweating as I got further along with this stamping and then when I was done, I die cut it! Ahhhhhh the panic! 🙂 🙂 It turned out–phew!
