Gift Giving Season over at Taylored Expressions!

The season for giving is heading in with a clip now! Of course, if you ask me, it is always the season of giving over at Taylored Expressions! Let’s get right to it!

First up, these absolutely delightful little snarky tags! I’m pretty sure people know it’s from me with one of these tags–I am always up for a laugh! These use the new stamp set called Tag Your Gift and Tag Trimmings, along with the previously released Tag Treat Wrap Die.

The new Tag Trimmings stamp set is a delightful little set that I can see myself using on all sorts of future projects. These stamps are just that little big of flair I’ll likely need here and there.

These sentiments though, right? Hilarious! I’m definitely putting these under the tree this year. I’m also planning to use these for birthdays and such ahead. So fun! I went with Rainbow ombres to color them in and a little splatter using the Gansai Tambi – Starry Colors Set.

Next up, these funny and cute little gifts–I think these are perfect for coworkers. A little something to make them laugh, and who doesn’t need mints at all times? You can also use marshmallows or fun little white candies–Sixlets anyone? So many options!

These use the new Foil It – Poem For The Holidays which are already printed and can be foiled, like I did here. But honestly, you can just use them as is too! Just be sure you have enough in your stash for everyone!

I used the new Tag Stacklets 4 along with last year’s (?) Frosty Background Cling & Clear Combo,Frosty’s Head and Frosty’s Body. Perfect and the best part: 1-2-3! Because I don’t know about you, but time is even tighter come holiday season and I like to enjoy it vs. being stressed!

Love these! I used bits and pieces around including the new Tag Trimmings set to dress them up a bit more– these crack me UP! 🙂

All these products are available now over at Taylored Expressions. See my links below  🙂

Taylored Expressions… Treat Yourself!

Let’s get out allllllll the treats! And we have lots of idea over at Taylored Expressions today to do just that! I have a few here today using the new Giftables-Cute Carton that is FREE with qualifying purchases this month at TE!

Don’t delay if you plan to place an order. Sometimes these fun gifts do run out if they are popular, FYI.

First up, let’s check out this CUTE rainbow Giftables-Cute Carton. The rainbow die comes with the Carton and let me tell you, I’m pretty sure the rainbow is going to be used A LOT! It’s sooooo cute! 🙂

I used TE’s cute TE Washi Tape – Happy Hearts to decorate the Giftables-Cute Carton. I actually made this white one just to get a feel for how to make it, and then I thought, OH–I like it in Sugar Cube! I’ll use this one. 😂 The sentiment is from Dude Sentiments.

Next up, Halloween! This one uses the Jack-O-Lantern stencil, Pierced Tag Stacklets, All Together Halloween, Exclamation Points. I used Earl Gray ink to stencil this on Pumpkin cardstock–so fun!! And EASY!

And lastly, because apparently I was in a Christmas mood 😂–in September, I made this cutie Giftables-Cute Carton too!

This one is stamped with the Vintage Springs Background and again, I used the Pierced Tag Stacklets (just making the little tags more stubby doing double die cutting). The little (most adorable!) Santa is from the All Together-Holiday. OH and I had to use my favorite sentiment from the Exclamation Points set “Santa!”. Is it weird he’s yelling his own name? Maybe, but I love it! 😂

Here’s the scoop from Taylored Expressions: By popular demand and timing–get this!!

All these products are available now over at Taylored Expressions. See my links below  🙂

Taylored Expressions: Foil It Release!

This one is always a fun BIG release at Taylored Expressions : Foil It release. Get out ALL the foils!

And just a note, before I forget, if you’re looking to organize your foils, don’t forget to check out the Foil Organization over at TE– you can find all that HERE.

First up, I used the Daisy Dreams Foil Its! I was pretty excited because I didn’t get to use this set the when the stamp/stencil/die came out originally.

I foiled this with the Lily Pad foil–I just wish the photos could show that a bit better! It’s fun and has an iridescentness to it! (Yup, that’s a word! #notreally)

I debated for way too long on die cutting this out 😂. I decided in the end not too, but I think my next go, I will! Instead, I used the Diagonal Stitched Mini Slim stacklets.

I stenciled my TE inks on, using a few for each layer! 🙂 I opted for yellows and greens, but I think I’d love this in pinks too!

To finish it off, I used the Get the Word Out-Hello and a Building Block from the Cool Additions. I felt very Brit like with the Hello Love! 🙂

Next up, I used the new Make a Rainbow Foil Its! Hooray for rainbows allllll the days!

In highsight, I honestly should have foiled my whole pack of rainbows because I could mail these everyday!

I kept one very simple and the other I used the Set the Scene Cloud Stencil Strips.

I added the clouds to. I like both, but in the end, I just love the white simple cards! 😊

One of these cards I used the Silver Stars Foil and the other I used the Silver Shattered Foil. Both work fun and add a little extra!

Those cute little clouds are the Rainbow Cloud Duo. I tend to always use the stitched cloud because I love that detail!

Here’s a photo I took before adding the clouds–because I forgot, initially. shhhhhh! 🤣 But something was missing and I figured it out!

The rainbow arches are added on using the Masking Stencils-Make a Rainbow. My new go-to pink is Dragon Fruit!

These were fun to make and I am looking forward to using so many more of the newly released foil panels!!

Here’s the scoop from Taylored Expressions:

Right now through Sunday, August 13th, the more you buy, the more you save on Foil It panels! Buy 5+ Foil It packs and get 10% off or buy 10+ Foil It packs and get 20% off! The discount is valid on new and previously released designs – stock up today! Offer is valid while supplies last.

Here Comes the Sun Card Kit from Taylored Expressions

It’s a super sunny day over at TE! There is a new Card Kit and it’s called: Here Comes the Sun Card Kit!  Taylored Expressions is releasing this today and there are lots of fun extras, in addition to the kit. Details on those extras at the end of my post here.

First, let me say that this kit has my name written all over it. It has sunshine and cute little smiley faces, so really, I was immediately ALL in. 🙂

First up, I used one of the cute and super fun additions to the kit: Radiant Cutting Plate. I was planning on using this vertically til I finished putting all the rays in and realizing… OH, this needs googley eyes!! 🙂

I can’t even stand it! 🙂 Plus I can make five more of these pretty quickly because I have all the pieces die cut out already. 😉

I added the smiley from the kit —Clearly Crafty Here Comes the Sun stamp set and some stitching and called it good! I always say simple cardmaking is actually tricky, but when you’re done, you’re done.  🙂

The little sentiment is from the Clearly Crafty Here Comes the Sun stamp set too.

Next up, I have this cutie pie using the , the Here Comes the Sun die collection, Rotating Cloud Stencil and the sentiment from Shine So Bright stamp set along with the Shine So Bright die collection (sold seperately).

Naturally, I had to add googley eyes here too. I mean, I’m pretty sure this kit just screams googley eyes! 🙂 I used three colors on the stencil to ultimately create the rainbow colors. I thought this turned out fun.

I used the following inks: Lollipop, Pineapple, and Cookie Monster. I also used the Petite Scallop Square Stacklets in two sizes. So fun! Oh and I used the previously released Rainbow Cloud Duo

Lastly, I just wanted to use the foil panels and I thought this one turned out fun–again… Googley. Eyes. I told you–ha!

I used the Shatter Glass Silver foil and then used the Shine On Layering Stencil set. The sentiment again comes from the Shine So Bright stamp set, which I white heat embossed. The smiley comes from the Clearly Crafty Here Comes the Sun set. Gah So cute!!

Again, I added some stitching and a those little pink cheeks before cutting the panel with the Stitched Rectangle Stacklets and layering it on the Petite Scallop Rectangle Stacklets.

Oh and the  Cloud Stacklets die collection is available–I never got it and I am excited to get it now!

Needless to say, I am a HUGE fan of this kit! To be fair, I haven’t met a kit I didn’t like yet 😊. Just a heads up, there are super cutie little envelope seals available for this one too. I do not need any more envelope seals but you betcha I’m ordering a couple packs. 😂

PSA: TE kits tend to sell out and sometimes quite rapidly. If you are interested in this kit, be sure you order it ASAP so you don’t miss out. Sometimes it’s only hours before they sell out. Just a little memo from what I have seen happen! 🙂

Here’s the scoop from Taylored Expressions:

The Here Comes the Sun Cardmaking Kit retails for $60, is packaged in a zippered pouch with a custom sticker, and includes:
  • Clearly Crafty Here Comes the Sun stamp set

With All My Art Card Kit from Taylored Expressions

Today, there is a new kit –it’s so fun and it’s called: With All My Art Card Kit!  Taylored Expressions has this  new release today and there are a few extras not to miss, in addition to the kit. Be sure to read all the way to the bottom for all the details.

I made a handful of cards… a few super simple cards that can be easily made in bunches–which of course, I realize I should have done after the fact. 🙂

Let’s start with this fun little number… how cute are these little paint brushes?! I cut them each out of Toffee cardstock and then cut the little “metal” parts from a scrap of foiled cardstock I had on my desk. I always keep those scraps to use later. 🙂

I used Tropical Punch, Pineapple and Strawberry Milkshake inks along with the Stencil in the kit. I love how layering them gave this transparent look!

I used the Stitched Frame Stacklets 3 after I did the stenciling–love this fun little punch!

The dies to cut out the sentiments are sold separately from the kit, so if you like added option, but sure to grab those too.

Next up, I have this sweet little number in all the pinks! For this one, I wanted to give it that super clean paint look… is there such a thing? Ha! I was thinking of how painters and drop clothes and everything is always WHITE in painting. 🙂

I created this Sugar Cube panel using the Diagonal Stitched Square Stacklets to frame my design. I used Lollipop, Strawberry Milkshake and Cupcake. It’s fun because the brushes are one die and there are separate dies to also just cut the bristles and another to cut the paint for the end. I love this feature! This card uses the larger paintbrush and my first card uses the smaller paint brush.

I used the sentiment, Hey Crafty Friend from the sentiment set included.

Lastly, I created these three cards quite simply and quickly using the following inks: Lollipop, Candy Corn, Lemon, Granny Smith and Cookie Monster. Of course, I had to add googley eyes to one. 😉

For each of these, I also used Petite Scallop Rectangle Stacklets, Stitched Rectangle Stacklets and Little Bits – Hearts. They stacklets layer perfectly using the largest die in each set.

Here’s the scoop from Taylored Expressions:

The With All My ‘Art’ Cardmaking Kit retails for $60, is packaged in a zippered pouch with a custom sticker, and includes:
  • With All My Art stamp set
  • Bold Brushes Layering Stencil set
  • Splash of Color stamp set
  • Paint the Town die collection
  • The Insiders – With All My Art panels
Most kit items are not available to purchase individually.
Additional products available to purchase outside of the kit: With All my Art die collection, With All My Art Envelope Seals (set of 10), and The Insiders – With All My Art panels

Christmas Release- It’s here! From Taylored Expressions

Taylored Expressions has a New Release today –and it’s the big one– The Christmas Release! Be sure to check out allllllll the products on the Taylored Expressions website, alllllllllllll the projects on the Creative Team’s blogs AND all the fun promos going on. Phew! Merry Christmas indeed! 🙂

First up, the new Triple Slim Layering Stencils – Holly Holiday. There are accompanying Foil It – Triple Slim – Holly Holiday (but I did not use those today). I love the foil it panels–they look cool, add a little extra something and take out one little tiny step if you are making a lot of cards. Anywho–on with my cards!

I chose to go with a bit of a different color scheme for my cards–It’s Peaches n Cream, Sweet Potato, Poblano Pepper, Mint Julep and Spearmint. I was a little apprehensive, wondering if these would be a fail as Holiday cards, but in the end, I quite like it! Something different and yet still festive!

I used the Mini Slim Stitched Stacklets and Petite Scallop Mini Slim Stacklets to add a little sweetness to each card as well.

A few paint splatters to give a little somethin somethin to each card before I added the stitching to each and finish them off. 🙂

Oh this sweet little winter bird! The sentiment set I used on all three cards is called Merriest Christmas and it has the coordinating dies too! 🙂

Next up, we have the Thrill of Hope stamp. And here’s the scoop on that one:

In addition to the product bundles, we are offering an exclusive holiday freebie that you can only earn during this release week:

Right now through Sunday, October 2nd, you can earn the A Thrill of Hope stamp set with a purchase of $100 or more. The stamp set features a pine bough frame with a pop-out Christmas sentiment! Offer valid while supplies last.

And here’s my card!

This background stamp is easy to use because the sentiment pops out and you can ink that separately from the pine boughs. Makes the color inking WAY easy! I added Little Bits-Stars in Pineapple with a little sparkle on top!

With the pop out, I found it fun to do a little ombre on the sentiment itself (Rose Water, Cupcake, Strawberry Milkshake and Guava) and then I could use a few different greens on the boughs (Granny Smith, Cilantro and Sweet Basil).

Here comes the cute! This little penguin set is called Dancing in the Snow! And the best part about stamping penguins? They are mostly black and white… So a little Copic Coloring on all their accoutrements and done! 🙂

Oh they are cute! I masked off this oval using the Masking Stencils – Ovals and used Lollipop, Sprinkles and Cookie Monster. It automatically creates that purple hue too, which is a fun little perk of ink blending.

I added some Twinkles using the Twinkle Twinkle Background and some glistening snow with the glitter. Turned out fun and festive for Winter! 🙂 (The sentiment is included in the Dancing in the Snow set. 😉 )

Here’s a quick little card up next–I love these too! 🙂 This one uses the new Flap Flair Holiday and the new Endless Christmas set. The Endless Christmas is also perfect for envelopes like the Flap Flair Holiday.

I stamped the Flap Flair Holiday on the card front with a little ombre flair and then put the Endless Christmas snowman right on top. I colored him in with a little Copic marker, just to give him a little extra oomph. Finished him with a tiny little pom pom. 🙂

I might have to make a few of these into Thank You Notes at the holidays. ❤

Are you still with me? We have one more big one! This next set is created with the Create-in-Quads: Peaceful Pines and it makes rainbow trees a snap. Who doesn’t like rainbow trees in the winter?

Oh and before I forget, there are also Foil It panels to go with this set as well! Yay!

I used all the fun rainbow colors on these for sure!

These sentiments are all white heat embossed on Oreo. This sentiment set is awesome because you stamp them all and bam die cut them all too! It is called All Together Christmas.

I created all the little snow flakes with the new Happy Medium Fresh Snow and added some Pearl Glitter for a little extra flair. 🙂

These are so fun to make–think of all the color combos you can do! Love that!

Here’s the scoop from TE: (and there is a lot, so buckle up!)

There are three bundles available that include FREE coordinating envelope seals and an exclusive holiday freebie for $100+ purchases.

We have put together three different product bundles to jump start your Christmas crafting! Each bundle includes a coordinating collection of products plus FREE envelope seals. The product bundles are available through Sunday, October 2 or while supplies last. Here are the details for each bundle:

The Holly Holiday product bundle includes the Triple Slim Holly Holiday Layering Stencil set, Foil It – Mini Slim Holly Holiday panels, Cleary Crafty Signature Sentiments stamp set, Merriest Christmas stamp set, Merriest Christmas die collection, Foil It – Merriest Christmas panels, and FREE coordinating envelope seals (3 designs, package of 10).

The Peace on Earth product bundle includes the Peace on Earth Cutting Plate die, All is Calm stamp set, and FREE coordinating envelope seals (2 designs, package of 10).

The Peaceful Pines product bundle includes the Create in Quads Peaceful Pines Layering Stencil set, Foil It – Peaceful Pines panels, Happy Medium – Fresh Snow, and FREE coordinating envelope seals (2 designs, package of 10).

Stars and Stripes Release: New from TE!

Taylored Expressions has a New Stars & Stripes Release today to celebrate America and the 4th of July! (But many things are perfect to use throughout the year! Just with different color combos 😉 )

This release always gets me fully ready for summer! I feel like Memorial Day starts Summer and boom, we’re off!! 🙂

First up, I have a fun little patriotic number using the new Mix & Match – Stars & Stripes Cutting Plate. I thought it would be fun to create a striped background with Sugar Cube cardstock and the Easy Strips dies (1/4″ and 1/2″) work swimmingly for this–highly recommend!

The new Mix & Match dies are fun to use and I have a hunch there will be more to Mix & Match with? Maybe? I don’t actually know, but it would be fun! To create the center vocal point I double Masked using the Masking Stencils – Rectangles & Masking Stencils – Stars with Blueberry Ink.

To finish it off, I added some Blueberry stars using the newly released Little Bits- Stars. (IF you are wondering do I really need this little start die? The answer: YES. Where has this been all my life? 😂) I stamped the sentiment in Cherry Pop ink and clear embossed it with Versamark over the top and Clear TE Embossing Powder. So festive!!

Next up, I created another Infinity Shaker card using the Infinity Shaker panels and lots of new Stars! I used the previously released Fireworks Stamp & Stencil Combo and the new Foil It – Acetate Happy 4th of July. For the foil, I used the Deco Foil Transfer Sheet – Silver Stars foil (It’s a fave–I better order more!)

The way the photo took, it looks yellowish, but in person, it look very much clear see through and white! I promise 😉

There are Foil It panels that match up perfectly with the Fireworks Stamp & Stencil Combo so you can foil the little center stars and then blend on all the inks for the fireworks. I wrapped it all up in the Frame in Frame 2. It was a fun little switch up to use pinks and the blues vs. the Cherry Pop and the Blueberry, which I tend to reach for in regards to Fourth of July Cards.  The new shaker bits are in there too! They are called: Bits & Pieces – Clay Stars and there are some new sparkly ones too!

Here’s the scoop from TE:

Right now through Sunday, May 29th you will get the Downtown Border die FREE with a purchase of $75 or more. This cityscape border coordinates with many of the new products from the Stars & Stripes release to create a patriotic scene on your card creations, plus this border die will work well for many other card themes and occasions! Offer valid while supplies last.

All these products are available now over at Taylored Expressions. See my links below  🙂

Father’s Day Release–New from TE!

Taylored Expressions has a New Release today for Dad’s and so much more! I am actually looking forward to using the fun fish puns for “Hello Friend” cards. You’ll see that neither of my cards today are really “made for Father’s Day”, which just shows all the versatility of this release, as always.

First up, I used the Hook, Line, & Sinker set. This includes these larger fish and the coordinating dies. I also backed the fish with a die cut of the fish from Blue Corn cardstock. This gives them a little oomph to stand off from the background (a shadow, if you will). It’s a full background of fish to stamp and then you use the stencils to add all the colors. Imagine all the rainbow fish we can make! 🙂

I created the swirly rainbow fish background with the Just Keep Swimming Stencil, using the rainbow palette idea. I love the fun way this turned out. I thought about making the fish all wonky with their googley eyes, but decided on a straight forward swim. 😂

To finish this card off, I stamped the sentiment from the Reely Great Stamp & Die Combo set. I added a little Stickles glitter, some stitching and score lines and bam! Done! 🙂

Next up, I used the NEWEST CREATE IN QUADS! Ohhhh I do love these! This is the Create-In-Quads Hexagon layering stencil set! This one moves into the fave category–quick!

For this one, I used Pineapple, Lollipop, Cookie Monster and Lime Zest to blend in all the inks. I love this pattern. It is so cool how the colors interact. I made a more masculine set with this stencil set too and I’m just reminded I didn’t edit the pics yet!

This playful sentiment is from the fittingly named, Oh Yes You Did stamp set. I stamped that in Oreo and die cut an A2 Thin Frame Cutting Plate in Lollipop to frame it all out. To finish this one off, I added a little stitching, a few silver stars from the Gathered Stars set and some Cosmic Drip Drops.

I have the other panels sitting on my desk to make cards with too. Time has been elusive this past week or so. Ack! But I will use them soon. Fingers crossed!

So, as you can see, while it is a “Father’s Day Release”, neither of my cards really is for Father’s Day. I could use them for that, but I would probably send these to friends instead. 🙂

Here’s the scoop from TE:

When you make a purchase of $75 or more now through Sunday, May 15th, you will get 2 FREE exclusive video craft along classes with Taylor and Heather!
