This is a spunky, fresh color combo. I thought this crisp look played nicely for gratitude today 🙂 !I made a second card. This sentiment gets such a workout on my desk. 😉

I thought the sentiment from Penguins in Paradise paired well with this little cutie Penguin from BB Toastly Greetings.Just makes me say awwwwwww. 🙂

Lawn Fawn & Caring Hearts…

The problem with cardmaking:There are so many fun products to use! 🙂 I have missed using one of my favorites, Lawn Fawn. So I got these little penguins out because I wanted to make a couple more cards for The Caring Hearts Card Drive. My crafty friend Vera Yates is embarking on her 6th year hosting this card drive. What an undertaking! Vera is surely brightening the holidays for many, many people. Be sure to check out the info and get your cards in the mail yesterday!! The deadline is this week! ❤

Here is my take this week:

I thought this was a fun and WAY different color combo for me. I flipped the sketch, swapped the rectangle for a circle, and put it all together! 🙂I didn’t get around to making a second Sketch card this week. I’ve been trying to get a little ahead and also making MANY cards for friends and family that have been kind enough to help me on my fundraising efforts. I’m so grateful. 🙂

I originally made a card almost identical to these for Sketch #245. 🙂 I’ve made and completed just these cards, so far. They look awesome together! This is typically not my thing, to make many of the same card. But for the right cause(s), I did it! I think the best part is designing the cards and picking the products, so I rarely make doubles+ etc. 😉

MFT Color Challenge #33

Color Challenge #33 is on the My Favorite Things Challenge & Inspiration blog!

I’m really enjoyed working with this combo because it evokes such coziness. Hence my cards for this Challenge:

This card makes me oh so happy! The new Chunky Chevron Cover up is AWESOME. Just so cool. The possibilities! 🙂

For this card, I cut the cover up out of Sweet Tooth and then inlaid all the pieces. After, I overlaid the hollow Steel Gray cover up in the opposite direction. I shrieked a bit! Die cutting and stamping are definitely my happy. 🙂

I made another card with this combo, this time using the chevron pieces only 🙂

Again, The Snuggle is Real. I keep joking I may need an intervention to stop using these two products. Of course, I’m kidding. Or am I? Haaaaa! 🙂

MFT Sketch Challenge #254 drifts on in to the My Favorite Things Challenge & Inspiration Blog today!! Join us!

This week’s sketch: I really like this week’s sketch! 🙂Here is my take this week:Eggplant, grays, hot cocoa with marshmallows…and The Snuggle is Real. ❤ I could not wait to use this sentiment again, and again, and again… 🙂 Plus, I’ve always loved that banner type piece from Blueprints #25. Geometrically fun!

Oh goodness, I am so so very happy MFT has introduced the two new GRAYS! They compliment the existing ones I use so often. I am trying hard not to order a back up pack of each gray. I believe this is a common crafter problem, right? A version of hoarding your supplies you most adore. So silly! 🙂

My Favorite Things: Simplicity

Sometimes you just need to make a card, and you need to be on the quicker side. That was the case here. These MFT Party Pattern s stamps are a go-to for something like this.

I inked the stamps, then wiped them off with a cloth. I thought it gave a fun touch. 🙂 Something a little different, but keeping this one quick and simple. I completely enjoy spending and hour + on a card when time permits, but sometimes, you just gotta rock it out. Plus, I can’t resist a one layer card…or a rainbow! 😉There is still a smidge of time to get in on the MFT Sketch Challenge #253! Don’t forget to upload your card!
