Concord & 9th Guest: Out of This World & Magical Day! + GIVEAWAY

Happy Friday once again! This week was a very long month and so I am happy to be here to share some fun! It’s my last week of sharing Concord & 9th Dream Big Release as a Guest Designer for February and their Feature Friday series, but I have so enjoyed these weeks together. Also, if you haven’t previously, be sure to check out Emily and Meghann’s projects on the Concord & 9th Blog HERE too.

**See details at the of this post about a $25 Concord & 9th Gift Card giveaway!!!**

First up, this card is made with the Out of this World Bundle. I also added some of the Concord & 9th Rainbow Glitter Paper Pack–hellllllllo sparkle! I super adore the font used for these sentiments too–perfect! I can’t wait to give our son this card. 🙂

I used lots of the Concord & 9th Assorted Color Cardstock Pack and then a handful of the Concord & 9th Mini Ink Cubes for this background. I love the how this card turned out using the small Turnabout in the background–these mini turnabouts are my new fave for sure!

Next up, I used the Magical Day Bundle to create this dreamy little number. I just had to use the little tiny rainbows, so I created a background with those.

All these dies are included in the Magical Day Dies and all the little bits come together to add all these fun details! The banner is also created with a die in the set and comes together 1-2-3!

Eeeep! Too fun!

Lastly, like the little rainbow background, I had to use the little rainbow die in Magical Day Dies to create some glittertastic rainbows using the Concord & 9th Rainbow Glitter Paper Pack.

And the little clouds? Gah! 🙂

You can find the whole release of new Concord & 9th products HERE. And if you’re a bundle person, get it all HERE. Here are the specific links for ease. I’ve included last two weeks supplies too:

Graceful Ferns Kit from Taylored Expressions

Happy 02-22-22! There is a NEW Kit available over at  Taylored Expressions today and it is called Graceful Ferns. This is a kit that will get a lot of use–I prefer to make these sorts of cards and have them on hand when I need to send our love.

For the first card, I used the Graceful Ferns Stamp set and the Inside Scoop-Sympathy set after using some post it take to mask off and create a blended background with the Hot Dots Stencil. I then used the coordinating die cut to cut out the fern I stamped in ombre green inks.

I need to remember to mask off more often. I do this for a few cards and then I don’t for awhile. I guess it is like that with a lot of techniques though, isn’t it?  I always love the clean crisp lines it creates and with the Hot Dots stencil laid on top after I added one round of color, it added a little subtle texture.

I used the Petite Scallop Rectangle Stacklets to finish this off with a little stitching as well.

Next up, I kept things a little simpler stamping right over the background I created blended several inks over the Window Masking Stencil. I stamped the fern in Mushroom over the top for this one.

I kept things very simple with using the Frame in Frame 2 die and adding a few black splatters to the background.

I love that the “With Sympathy” sentiment can be die cut out so precisely and added to a card. This was just the little pop I needed for this simple card.

I had a little time to create one more card. I used Sweet Basil, PIneapple, Granny Smith and Mushroom inks to create a simple blend. Afterwards, I came back and used the Breezy stencil over top to create a very subtle texture background.

I stamped the ferns over top in Sweet Basil and added some ink splatters. I tried to make this card with no fuss, knowing I would need to replicate the design a few times again, maybe just switching up the ink colors to mix things up perhaps.

At first I wasn’t sure I liked the results, but often when you give some space between making something and looking at it again, it grows on you. Which is always a win! 🙂

All these products are available now over at Taylored Expressions.

Here’s the TE scoop:

Concord & 9th Guest: Rainbows and Visions!

Happy Friday! I’m happy to be back sharing more of Concord & 9th Dream Big Release as a Guest Designer for February and their Feature Friday series! Be sure to check out Emily and Meghann’s projects on the Concord & 9th Blog HERE too. Did you see their projects last week? GO SEE!!! So fun! 🙂

My cards today feature the new Make Some Noise Bundle and the Rainbow Card Front Die.

I first used just the Make Some Noise Stamp Set to create this card–Using basically every Concord & 9th Mini Ink Cube! Ha!! But seriously, I about did. 😂 If you look at the stamps, you can see how easy this is. Because the letters are so spread out, you can ink up different letters fairly easily. I was thinking I’d just use a few, but then went all out. 🙂

This next card uses the Rainbow Card Front Die which creates multiples so easily if you choose to use different colored rays for the rainbow–because you get five!

I love the Concord & 9th Assorted Color Cardstock Pack for the awesome colors–they seem to all work together too. ❤ that! The sentiments are all from the Delicate Blossoms stamp set and work swimmingly for basically any card type, in my mind.

So fun–I just changed the direction, order, and shape of the rainbow for all the different cards. Do you have a fave? I like the Just Saying Hello card maybe best…?

Love these and can’t wait to mail them all out! 🙂

Next up, I had some silly fun–I had to get this out of my head because “this guy’s got some sweet moves”! Does anyone watch It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia? I remember Dee saying this in an episode and now its a big joke between my husband and me every time we see one of these blow–up dancing guys! Anywho–he’s made with the Make Some Noise Dies.

It’s a pretty silly card, but I just had to make it. I couldn’t get that guy out of my head when I saw these dies. Plus, it’s fun to stretch those supplies right? 🙂

The sentiment I found to be perfectly fun for this card too. It’s again from the Make Some Noise Stamp Set. I’m hoping I’m not the only one that knows what this blow up guys are! ha!

Lastly, as I was die cutting things with the Make Some Noise Dies, I saw snails!! So I created this lovey card too. ❤

I thought this would be fun to send to some friends. Snails! With funky hair! 😄

And always the googley eyes!

Hope you all enjoyed my little trip off the rails using the products this week! 😊

Taylored Expressions: Easter Release!

Taylored Expressions has a New Release today celebrating Easter! Let’s think Spring and bunnies and sunshine!

First up, there is a new Full Circle and this time it is for Easter! Full Circle-Easter! And oh, is it cute! Anyone else agree? I white heat embossed Full Circle-Easter for this card.

After heat embossing it, I used the Stitched Circle Stacklets to cut out the circle. I love these Full Circles as backgrounds, off set and without die cutting, but for this card, I wanted to feature it with the Little Bits-Oh Hoppy Day bunnies. They are one of my TE Easter Faves with their little bunny cotton tails.

The background panel I die cut using the Stitched with Love cutting plate. That little background is so sweet, I have trouble not using it for everything. It adds a little love so subtly. The sentiment, Somebunny Loves You is from the Full Circle -Easter Set. I added a little stitching and some twine and done. 🙂

Up next, we have the new Eggstra Sweet and is it ever! I stamped three chicks because we have three in our family 😉 and colored them with Copic Markers on Potato Chip cardstock. Using a Mini Slim Panel in Sugar Cube, I used the new die cut plate, Stitched with Love to create a little interest in the background. I also added a grassy green base using the Set the Scene – Grass Stencil Strips. Perfect!

This sentiment is from the new Joyful Joyful sentiment set that I stamped ombre with some green inks and die cut that out. The sentiment strip is from Mini Strips-Easter that I die cut out with the Mini Strips Asymmetrical die. The panels are the Stitched Mini Slim Stacklets and the Petite Scallop Mini Slim Stacklets cut out of Cupcake. Always the Cupcake 🙂

Lastly for today, I have the new At the Cross die. This die comes with the solid backer plate, which I think you could use on it’s own and also with this filigree die, that layers perfectly on top, or again, can be used on its own too.

I used, wait for it… Lavender Glaze cardstock (wha?) and blended on some coordinating ink to give the filigree die cut a little extra pop. For the background, I used the new Mini Slim Rotating Ray stencil along with the Set the Scene – Clouds Stencil Strips and the Mini Slim Masking Stencils – Mini Slim Rectangle. The sentiment is Mini Strips In Reverse – Easter foiled with Silver foil. Those sentiments foil to perfection and the best part is, it is so fast and easy to create a bunch if you have several cards to make. I want alllll the Foiled sentiments all the time! 🙂

I finished this card off with some silver thread from my stash, a bit of stitching on the Mini Slim panel and the Bits & Pieces – Iridescent Rhinestones. The last panel is again cut with the Petite Scallop Mini Slim Stacklets.

The Easter release is always so fun and gives us hope of warmer days ahead, doesn’t it? I actually like Winter, but as we near the end of February, I am definitely ready for the green grass again!

Concord & 9th Guest: Dream Big!

Happy Friday! Today is my first day of sharing Concord & 9th Dream Big Release as a Guest Designer for February and their Feature Friday series! Be sure to check out Emily and Meghann’s projects on the Concord & 9th Blog HERE too. How fun to be over there with these two fabulous creators! 🙂

Let’s get this party started!

All my cards today feature the new Delicate Blossoms Bundle. Oh goodness–buckle up for the fun release peeps! The flowers are from the Delicate Blossoms Dies and the sentiment is from Delicate Blossoms stamp set.

I thought this would be fun to create a rainbow of flowers! I die cut them all out and added them a embossed panel before stitching them all on. I used the “Thank You So Much” sentiment. Though I stamped many because that little set (Delicate Blossoms stamp set) packs a punch with the perfect group of sentiments. (And I love the simple font!).

Oh goodness too fun! (These cardstock colors are: Honeysuckle, Sorbet, Buttercup, Sprout, Aqua Sky and Peacock.)

I then really wanted to use the Congrats sentiment die from the Delicate Blossoms Dies, so I did so with the simple inlay technique. It works swimmingly to get the character spacing perfect!

I added these fun new Buttercup Enamel Dots from the Everyday Enamel Dots Bundle. They are perfection for these sweet little flowers.

I added some embossed lines and some stitching and voila! Done! I love how simple the design–these products make some sweet sweet cards. 🙂 (These cardstock colors are: Sorbet, Sprout, Aqua Sky and Peacock.

You’ll also have to check out the larger die in the Delicate Blossoms Dies. I have that all cut and pieced on my desk, but I can’t decide how to use it yet. 🙂 We will see what shakes out someday here soon!

You can find the whole lot of new Concord & 9th products HERE. And if you’re a bundle person, get it all HERE. Here are the specific links for ease:

I hope you have been inspired to have some fun with these new products! Please be sure to check out the post on Concord & 9th’s Blog today to see both Emily and Meghann’s projects too!

Taylored Expressions: New Stencil Storage and Stencils!

Taylored Expressions has a New Release today and it’s got new crafty goodies yes, but it also is about STORAGE! I don’t know about you, but organizing is half the fun sometimes, isn’t it?

There are NEW binders and sleeves for all the sizes, regular 6 x 6 and Mini Slims. They are custom made to fit TE stencils perfectly. I am also excited because the old sleeves fit in this binder too, so you don’t have to repack all those–win! HUGE HUGE win!! I have filled both a 6 x 6 Binder and a Mini Slim Binder. ❤ THEM!

I’ll let you read all about the storage on the TE Blog today and I’ll just get to some cards…yes? Ok here we go!

First up, we have the new Mini Slim Trellis stencil. I did some light and selective area stencil action to mix things up. I used Sprinkles, Pineapple and Cilantro–top to bottom.

I pulled out the original Gus & Gertie set and a funny sentiment from the Shenanigans set.

These guys are so cute and this sentiment set always has something for me to have a good laugh at. The Mini Slim Trellis stencil creates these fun little stars. Or if you think of it in reverse, it creates that circle effect. You can draw that out more stenciling over your panel completely after you use the actual stencil.

Next up, I have the new Mini Slim Twiglet Stencil. For this one one I thought it would be fun to break out a couple TE Masking Stencils. I used the Masking Stencil – Mini Slim Rectangle and the 3/4″ TE Stripe. I think I tend to put the MS Rectangle Masking Stencil down first and then layer that with Stripe. I stenciled the stripes on first and then overlaid the Twiglet on top of that.

Once that was stenciled on then I lifted the striped and finished stenciling the Twiglet.

I finished this off with sentiments from the Simple Strips-Sympathy and some stitching. I also added a Sugar Cube panel using the Mini Slip Petite Scallop Stacklets. I feel like I generally mail Sympathy cards, so keeping them more on the flat side might be a better idea.

Lastly, I am sharing the new Leopard Stencil. I paired this with a cutie from the Life of the Party set.

I stenciled the Leopard on with Toffee ink for a tone on tone look and then behind the little money, I used the New Mini Slim Stencil – Tidal stencil with Sweet Potato ink to create a little background action there.

I finished this off with some stitching and Bits & Pieces – Drip Drops. Too cute! It’s a party!!

Here’s the scoop from TE:

Right now through 11:59PM CT Sunday, February 6th, when you buy more, you save more on stencils! Buy any 4 stencils to save 10%, buy 5-8 stencils to save 15%, and buy 9+ stencils to save 20%! This promotion is limited to in stock items and excludes the Create-in-Quads collection. It’s a great time to pick up those stencil designs that have been on your wish list and stencils make great gifts for your crafty friends!

The Mini Slim stencils are easy to pop in a business envelope and mail to a friend with a regular postage stamp–just sayin’! Easy way to say Happy  💌 Day to your crafty friends!

All these products are available now over at Taylored Expressions. See my links below  🙂
