Taylored Expressions: Farm Kit Release!

Welcome back! Today we are celebrating a fun release for the Farm Kit Release from Taylored Expressions! This set is available over at Taylored Expressions TODAY, June 30th.

These little farm animals are adorable and the bonus is, their heads and bodies are two different stamps. The fun of this is that you can tilt their heads however you’d like and you can add the TE Wobblers! And they are included in the kit.

First up, I had to use the horse and the barn. I colored everything with Copic Markers and fussy cut out the barn. For the background, I used the new Grass Stencil (hooray!) as well as the Set the Scene-Cloud Stencils I already had. I die cut all that out with the Frame in Frame 2 die.

I love this punny sentiment, and of course, the fun sticker that matches when I pop it in the mail! 🙂

There is a handful of envelopes included in the kit, so you are all set to make and send these fun cards out straightaway!

Next up, I had to use the sweet little cow. And to make her even sweeter, I used the Gingham Background stamp in the kit and did so in Cupcake. To create just this rectangle of inked space, I used the TE Masking Stencils-Rectangles and blended in some Cupcake ink first, using the TE Blender Brushes. After that, I stamped the Gingham stamp tone on tone again using Cupcake. Because I left the Rectangle Masking Stencil on, it really only stamped in the center of the area, and I liked the look of that. 😉

It’s an Udder Birthday!! Gahhh! I do love puns! 🙂 I added some scoring and cut it all out with the Petite Scallop Rectangle Stacklets.

I thought this little cutie was so sweet and would be fun to receive in the mail for one’s birthday! 🙂

Lastly, I had to get this little Chickie on a card! 🙂

In addition to the grass stencil, I used the Hexagon Masking Stencil and the Here Comes the Sun stencils to create this background for my Copic colored elements. Just Chicken In! I ❤ it! 🙂

Velcro Shoes…

Happy Sunday! I’m just popping in with a fun Taylored Expressions card I made for a friend’s birthday. She also appreciates said humor, so I’m thinking she got a laugh out of this one! 🙂

This is the Hip Hop Bunny, lots of Simple Strips and the Confetti Toss Background. I colored him with Copics eons ago, and he has been sitting on my desk looking at me. So finally, this snarky little dude made it on a card. 🙂

I used the TE Rectangle Masking stencil and TE Blending Brushes and voila! 🙂 Birthday fun! I’m thinking now, I maybe should have put a color after “Let the Celebration Begin:”… haaaa! But it’s enjoyable nonetheless. ❤

Hi!

Hello –Happy Saturday! I’m here today to share a sweet card I made using Honey Bee Stamps!!! You can find lots of stamps and goodies from Honey Bee HERE!

For this card, I used Honey Bee’s cute critters from the Happy BeeDay set (and the coordinating Happy BeeDay Dies HERE). I colored them with Copic Markers and die cut everything out.

I made my own stencil using the Grass Border die and created a lovey background with the Fluttering Hearts Stencil (set of 2!). The simple sentiment I used is from the Friend stamp set. So cute and so simple!

Eeeeep! I just had to use this little squirrel. 😉

Send Happiness from Simon Says Stamp!

Today I am joining the fun over at Simon Says Stamp for the new Send Happiness release!! Wait til you see this stamp I used below–whoah! 🙂

I am using the NEW SSS Stamp: Poppies Background and you can find it HERE. The sentiment I used is from SSS Love Messages. ❤ I cut the whole thing out with the SSS Basic Rectangles too. )

This Poppies Background stamp is a lovely one and large to cover your whole card front, if you so choose. I decided to white heat emboss it and then blend on some Ripe Persimmon Distress Oxide Ink (with a dab of Hickory Smoke). Then I splattered it with paint, added some stitching the sentiment and done. 🙂

I had thought of making this card and finally got it done. 🙂 All. The. Coffee. haaaa! 🙂

I colored the images with Copic Markers and kept the rest very simple with some blended ink and funny stitching. 🙂

Taylored Expressions: Hot Flash Grumplings!

Happy Dad’s Day!

Hola! Today I am just popping in to share a couple of cards I made for Father’s Day. 🙂

First up, I have this one using fun Avery Elle goodies:

I have had the AE set The Man for what feels like forever, but I use it, so I keep it. 🙂 The others are the SEA-Prise and the Grand Photo Die (this one is on SALE HERE.).

I thought this one turned out fun with some blending and some foam tape and boom! 🙂 Mailed!

Next, I have this Plaidarific card I made using Taylored Expressions. I used Caps Lock Dad, Dadisms and the recently released Plaid Layering Stencil.

I do love the Plaid Layering Stencil. 🙂

Summer Berries!

Hi–Hope you have been having a good day! I’m popping in to share a few cards I made using the the Sweet Strawberries Bundle from Concord & 9th! And let me just say, right now: SUMMER SALE at Concord & 9th! Just sayin’. Like crazy fun sale! Be sure to check it out HERE. (pssst….. this Sweet Strawberries bundle is included! eeeeep! It’s HERE.)

Always fun stuff coming from Concord & 9th! And I love these strawberries and their summery goodness! 🙂

I made a handful! 🙂 I kept them fairly simple after stamping and die cutting the strawberries. I experimented with the stamping and inks and I ended up liking this one on top best.

I added some simple lines to the card with a black ink pen, some scoring, and stitching (might be hard to see) before adhering with foam tape and adding some clear bits.

Taylored Expressions: New Release!

Happy Tuesday! The new release from Taylored Expressions is available NOW–find them all available over at Taylored Expressions HERE.

I had stamped and colored (with Copic Markers) more sweet images from Max & Millie, so I decided to get them onto cards! Which honestly, is somewhat of a feat because I often just let them collect in a pile for “later”. Ha! But I thought if I kept these simple, I’d get them made and mailed! 🙂

First up –This one that makes me laugh! Meh. 🙂

Quick background with the Grid Background stamp and a little window and done! 🙂

Next, I have this even simpler one with the cute image and some scoring! I love simple cards! And they are more likely to get made and mailed out sometimes. 🙂

Taylored Expressions: Cat Lover’s Release!

Welcome back! Today we are celebrating a new release for the Cat Lover’s out there from Taylored Expressions! All the new products will be available over at Taylored Expressions tomorrow, June 16th. This release is full of sweet little feline friends!

For my first card here today, I used the new Max & Millie set– Be warned, it’s adorable!!

I mean really? How cutie patootie is this little critter!!? And this sentiment is perfection for this sweet image!

I used the Circle Masking Stencils in combination with the Polka Party stencil. I just did a double mask. 🙂 It turned out fun and I love the idea of the cheese imagery being mimicked.

Next up, I used the new Loyal Friend stamp set. On this card, I think we could say I did a triple mask? Ha! I used the Rectangle Masking Stencils to create an overall border. Then I used the Heart Masking Stencil to create the heart. I used both positive and negative on the Heart Stencil, masking where I wanted the hearts and paw prints to be and not be.

The Puppy Love Layering stencils work perfectly to create a sweet backdrop for the message on this card. (just don’t tell the kitties it’s called Puppy Love. 😉 )

Such a heartfelt sentiment to send someone who really needs it.

I’ve really been into the Cupcake and Sprinkles colors lately…wondering if I am craving baked goods or just these colors? ha! 🙂

I highly recommend Pixie Spray in combo with your TE Blender Brushes to make all your stenciling action a little more fun and easy peasy! 🙂

One last card for today–this cutie little mouse from the Max & Millie set! He wanted to send a smile! 🙂 I colored him with Copic Markers and die cut him out.
