Here’s my take on MFT Sketch Challenge #315 and MFT Color Challenge #61!I have surprised myself by getting in another Challenge entry! I had to use these otters though! Because: Cutie otters and puns! 🙂
I masked and stamped this cutie, colored with Copic markers, and then fussy cut the edge, so he would hang off a little bit. I adhered the colors of the challenge, and did a little fussy/trickery die cutting to pull the whole thing together. 😉
Just a little something different to try. 🙂
Supplies from My Favorite Things, including the new BB Otterly Love You. So stinkin’ cute!
Have a great week!
Here’s my take on MFT Sketch Challenge #314 and MFT Color Challenge #60!
I arrived home late from a school meeting last night, but still wanted to make something. Our household has been under the weather, and I was behind on creating anything! Ahhh! 🙂
I was itching to inlay something, and of course, the strips of card stock is always a fave of mine to do!
I wasn’t sure how it would look with the strips on an angle, but I like it! It’s getting mailed today!
I rotated the sketch, so the HUGS is the big rectangle, and the nod to the then vertical piece, is my stitching. I couldn’t decide what to do for that element, but I think the stitching turned out fun, albeit a little off from where I intended. Ha! I held my breath as I started stitching, and as I did that little piece at the bottom. I wanted them aligned, and I wasn’t sure where my needle left off! Oh silliness 🙂

Anywho, there you have it! Thanks for stopping by!
Here’s my take on MFT Sketch Challenge #311. Always a delight to have a good read over at the MFT Card Challenges blog!
I wanted to play along, and but had to be expeditious! Even making just the quickest of cards, is such a great way to end the day! I just masked some circles for these little guys, and then did some quick stamping. This is a set that will get inked often for kiddo’s birthday parties! 🙂

Here’s my take on MFT Sketch Challenge #309.
This card ended up pretty simple in the end and nothing like I sat down to do. I always think that’s funny! 🙂
I die cut both the die cuts I used, and I think the result was good! 🙂 My stitching went a little wrong, but I just added more to make it work. Ha!

Here’s my take on MFT Sketch Challenge #308 and Color Challenge #56! My Favorite Things Challenge & Inspiration Blog <<<<<<. Once again, I’m able to combine the two!
This little dino from You’re Rawr-some, is a little cutie! I especially love the T-Rex and his sentiment. I can’t wait to use him next! 🙂 I used Zig Clean Color pens to watercolor her, and Distress ink for the background I masked off.I wanted to use this color combo, but was thinking Holiday card. Aren’t we all?! <3! But then, I took a right turn and made a chicky dino card instead. There is some sparkle (that never photographs) in the tree/plant/hearts, that in person, adds just the right touch. I had to cut off the grass I was originally using for the sentiment. It was too *all up in the dino’s grill*. LOL 🙂

Here’s my take on MFT Color Challenge #51! These challenges come from the My Favorite Things Challenge & Inspiration Blog!
I thought I would use the Happy Birthday Centerpieces die cut, and change it up a smidgen. 🙂
It has a bit of an 80’s feel to it, doesn’t it? 🙂
And now that I have these die cuts in all four colors, I am ready to make 3 more cards!! 🙂 Bonus! 🙂
More MFT Supplies: BG Grid Background and Blueprints 13. 🙂

Here’s my take on MFT Sketch Challenge #283. This challenge come from the My Favorite Things Challenge & Inspiration Blog!I wanted to keep this simple, so I masked off a central area and stamped up a Dad’s Day card! 🙂 Of course, I rotated the sketch and rectangled it too. 😉

Here’s my take on MFT Sketch Challenge #281 (and inadvertently, MFT Color Challenge #45)! These challenges come from the My Favorite Things Challenge & Inspiration Blog!I stamped and practiced coloring a bunch of unicorns this past week, so used one of those. 🙂
My son picked the colors for me to use as I was coloring along. I wasn’t sure at first, but in the end, I think he might have a secret color talent! LOL!! 🙂
When I put this all together later that night, I realized it was the Color Challenge colors! WHAT are the chances!!!? So anyway, throwing it in that pool too. 🙂
The sparkle, which never photographs, is really what make these unicorns POP! Too bad it isn’t reflected in the photo. A pretty basic card, but fun to give to someone! 🙂
My card is made with supplies at My Favorite Things. Die-namics: Stitched Mini Scallop Square and Rectangle STAX. Stamps: BB Magical Unicorns.

I kept this one simple too, diecutting and blending ink into the new MFT Stencil Chunky Herringbone.
This was definitely a card where I looked at the sketch, started working, and didn’t refer to the sketch again. But, I’m sure you can see the sketch’s inspiration overall, right? 😉
