The Cutest Video Hop EVER: 2020!

Hola and welcome to our stop on The Cutest Video Hop Ever for 2020!  My son and I are VERY excited to be joining Emily Leiphart for our third year on this fun YouTube Hop, inspiring the next generation of crafters!  We hope you have as much fun watching us craft with our kids–or in my case, watching my son craft! Ha!

Thanks so much to our very generous sponsors who have donated SO MANY PRIZES! 🙂

My only contribution to his card was stamping and diecutting all the images (aka “beautiful photos of some cute little bears”) for him ahead of time. As you will notice, he is not short winded as this video started out at 20 minutes–ha! I edited it down to 10 minutes, so don’t panic! (yes, I know that is still tooooo long. 🙂 ). You’ll be able to tell, he handled all the rest (and then some) himself. He likes to chat and has a lot to say–with bits of advice about crafting, but I think it applies to life too, often. 🙂 . He is such a fun kid and quite the natural, which I’m thinking is completely opposite of me if I did videos? who knows! ha! ❤

Please note: I do not make videos. For those who do, bravo once again!  🙂

Here is our video ❤ :

Here is a photo of my son’s card: He used Lawn Fawn’s Snow Much Fun Stamp set HERE and  Snow Much Fun dies HERE.

This turned out oh so sweet and I love all his thinking behind the colors and his descriptions about being patient, etc. ❤ He’s such a stitch!

Adoring You, SOA

Hello–Today I am sharing a couple of cards for Catherine Pooler’s Adoring You Stamp of Approval Collection! I had a couple sets to work with and I combined them both with Catherine’s fun inks!!

For this card, I used the following ink colors available HERE:  Aquatini, Suede Shoes, Coral Cabana, Shea Butter, Black Jack, Grass Skirt and Green Tea. Phew! That was a lot! 🙂

Those birds are definitely love birds, wouldn’t you say? ❤ For this card, I stamped all the images and sentiment, scored the base panel and stitched it to a card base.

Next up, I have this little anniversary card that is sweet, simple and more on the graphic side. 🙂

For this card, I used Suede Shoes, Sand Castle and Coral Cabana inks from Catherine Pooler. The Coral Cabana color is new to me, and I quite enjoy it! Again, I stamped all the images and then added a couple little cardstock strips before adhering and stitching it all together. I finished this card off with a little twine.

Fun how it turned out–I almost binned it. 🙂

These cards are both made with the new Stamp of Approval stamp sets: Happy Together Stamp Set & the Congratulations Sentiments Stamp Set.

A crafty thank you to Catherine for having me along to celebrate her latest SOA release! Be sure to check out the shop HERE for more fun and the latest scoop!

I look forward to seeing what everyone creates with this collection!!

Happy stamping!

Paradise Found Release Blog Hop, Day 2!

Hello! Welcome to my stop on this fun Blog Hop to celebrate Catherine Pooler’s new Spa Ink Release and Paradise Found products!!

I could not enjoy the new inks more! My favorite might be the Green Tea! And I did NOT see that coming! Haaaa! 🙂

How about some cards? Yes- Onward!

I stamped the new Plaid Background with the Sauna Ink and then added some black lines with a fine black pen. I like how it pulled some of the black into the background. I then cut the scalloped panel (gulp!) and stitched it on to my card base before adhering the white embossed sentiment. I die cut the Best die a couple of times and layered that up, adhering that along with a tiny heart for the Tags, etc. Dies (Counting Blessing SOA Collection).

This is one of those cards that grew on me over time. At first I almost binned it, but I’m glad it stuck it out because it is now a fave! 🙂

My next card uses the Birds of a Feather stamp set and the new Birds of a Feather Die.

How awesome are these new ink colors?! ❤ them! They are: Daydream, Mandarin Spice and Green Tea. (Watch out Tutti Frutti, there’s a new orange in town 🙂 )

For this, I inked up the large feather from the Birds of a Feather set, and stamped them all on white cardstock. I die cut them all out with the new die and gave them a slight score line to fold along before stitching and pinching them upward. I scored the card panel and adhered all to my card base. Fun!

This next card I’m sharing today, uses the new Winter Wonderland stamp set. The little critters on this set are very cute and there are lots of little detail stamps that help make a complete scene easily.

I stamped the trees in my new a fore mentioned fave, Green Tea. The red elements are stamped in Peppermint Scrub and the deer is stamped in Icing on the Cake. Oh, and the snowflakes are stamped in second generation of Black Jack. Catherine’s inks work awesome for that technique– which is fabulous if you’d like just a lighter version of a color.

It’s such a cozy little scene!

Next up, a card featuring the new Small Doily die and stamps from the Medallion Mix-Up Stamp set. Again, I used the new Green Tea color for tag. 🙂 The tag and the hearts are from the previous Counting Blessings SOA Collection–the Tags, etc. Dies.

This card was very tricky to photograph at a good angle. I also didn’t predict that challenge–ha! But in person, it looks very delicate and lovely cut from vellum and folded up to create a flower type element. This card is going to be for my Grandmother on her 94th Birthday next week!  ❤

I again scored the card panel and stitched everything on to the card base after adding some twine to the tag. This card turned out so lovely! I can’t wait to give it to my Grannie. 🙂

I hope you have enjoyed my stop along this hop! I ended up having several cards because once I started creating, they just kept coming! And I still have two more to share in the future!

Counting Blessings SOA Release Day!

Happy Release day for the Counting Blessings Stamp of Approval Collection!

Thank you so very much for all the amazing and truly kind comments everyone left here yesterday! The consensus is that we love the leaves and that leaves and gratitude are not just for autumn! Love that! 🙂 You can check out my blog post for the Blog Hop yesterday HERE. Be sure to head over to Catherine’s website below for all the latest info!

I am sharing a couple more cards here to celebrate RELEASE DAY! Yay!!

How awesomely graphic is this Geo Trio stencil!! ❤ !! It has three different patterns to use on it! Catherine’s inks make blending this on flawless! I used Icing on the Cake, Tutti Frutti (fave!) Orange Twist , and Tiara for this.

I also used the collection’s Thankful die and the Tags, Etc. dies for this strip. I was intending to stitch above it, but ended up right on the line the die creates. I could never stitch this way if I intended too! But on a fluke, no problem! LOL!

Just love the graphic nature of this card and how those inks blend! So flawless! And can we just enjoy the handwritten script of this Thankful die? Good golly! So fantastic!

Next up is a ‘Thank You’ card!

I just trimmed the Thankful die to make a fun “Thank You” card! 🙂

For this card, I used the Tags, Etc. Dies, Thankful Die, Autumn Blessings Stamp set, Geo Trio Stencil, and the Marching Leaves stencil!  Eeep! Again, I used Catherine’s fabulously blending inks! (Tutti Frutti and actually all the same ones as the above card! How did that happen? LOL!! 🙂 )

I hope you’ve enjoyed the projects I made with this collection, as much as I have enjoyed making them!

Thank you again for stopping by today! A BIG crafty hug to Catherine for having me along, and many thanks to the team for help with details! It’s been a pleasure hanging with everyone! Be sure to check out Catherine’s Blog HERE for more fun!

I look forward to seeing what everyone creates with this fantastic collection!!

Happy creating!

Are you ready for my cards?! I am! I really enjoyed playing with this collection! 🙂

Oh my word! THIS LEAF! ❤ ! For this card, I used several of the products in the box. The tag and scalloped panel are from the Tag, Etc. Dies. I die cut the Thankful die a few times and layered it up for some pop! The leaf is cut using the Falling Leaf dies. (I adhered them, and then stitched them like crazy! 😉 ) I used the Marching Leaves stencil on the background. (This stencil is definitely one of my favorite things in this box– ❤ !!!!)

I love this color combo that shook out during the process! 😉

Next up, is a celebration card showing the versatility of this collection! I think this color combo is so festive! ALL Catherine Pooler’s bold color inks are a stamper’s dream! Very inky, but not TOO inky. You know what I mean? 😉 Those can be found HERE.

For this card, I used the following products from this collection: The Tags, Etc. Dies, Good Things stamp set, and the Leaf Motifs stamp set.

I used my favorite CP color, Tutti Frutti, on many of my SOA projects this month! I can’t stop. 🙂  For this card, I also used the new gray Black Jack, Party Dress, Tiara and Fiesta Blue!

This collection is FULL of possibilities! I myself, am super loving all the graphic elements in it!

Stamp of Approval Blog Hop!

Happy Monday!! Today I have the fun opportunity to participate along with The Stamp of Approval Naturally Inspired Collection Blog Hop! What fun I’ve had working with this party in a box, delivered to my door! The Stamp of Approval Collection is an exclusive collection. These individual products were designed just for this collection box. Each product is a brand new design, and will not be available again from Catherine Pooler Designs for many months. Make sure you subscribe to the wait list to get first notice of the sales link…these collections sell out quickly! You can get on the waitlist here: WWW.CPSTAMPOFAPPROVAL.COM

The question for this hop is: What keeps you naturally inspired? My answer is pretty simple: COLOR! I love to mix up different and random color combinations. I find combinations of color randomly in catalogs, stores, advertisements, fashion, home decor, paper goods, in my scrap discard pile (most used source), etc. I  find that the most unexpected color combinations are often the ones I like best. Of course, I also always trust a good rainbow color combo too, as I did below today! 🙂 The rainbow will never fail us! 🙂

On with the party! I mean, cards! 😉

For these cards, I used the following from this collection: Wild Garden Stamp Set, Simply the Best Stamp Set, and the Best die. I also used all Catherine Pooler bold color inks. Those can be found HERE.

How festive is this Wild Garden stamp set?! It has Spring and Summer written all over it! I shocked and amazed myself that I had the forethought to create two of these cards (altering the sentiment) at the same time! I think that is a huge perk of this collection: The sentiments can be changed up so easily to make dozens of sayings! 🙂

You’re the Best! I really ❤ the font style of this *best* die. It’s pretty awesome.

I die cut the word a few times and layered them up for pow! I then adhered the other heat embossed sentiments with foam adhesive.

I love all these ink colors together! ❤  The Catherine Pooler inks are all juicy and stamp well, with very little little effort. A huge win in my book. My favorite color is Tutti Frutti. It’s an awesome orange-red and it’s called Tutti Frutti for cryin’ out. 🙂

I thought I’d share another rainbow inspired card, this time with more of a graphic take:

These sentiment stamps ROCK! Sending You Laughter! Perfect! 🙂 And I know exactly who I am sending this one too! I used the same Catherine Pooler bold ink colors.

For this card, I again used the Simply the Best Stamp Set as well as the Birds of a Feather Stamp Set. This crosshatch stamp is great for stamp kissing techniques too!

Be sure to leave comments along the way for the BLOG HOP PRIZE!

One winner will be chosen at random from each day’s comments and announced on June 9 on Catherine Pooler’s blog. The winners will win their box and if they already bought it, they will be issued a Gift Certificate worth $100 towards a future purchase.
