Taylored Expressions-For Him Release!

Today is the For Him release over at Taylored Expressions!! It’s a complimentary release to the previous For Her release in that it has masculine products to balance out the previous! That being said, I think that we can all agree both of these releases can be used for both genders to spread the joy of a handmade card!

Perfect example of this is this first card! I LOVE pens, markers, pencils–whatever. Always have–who knows why, but office supplies are enjoyable 😂! I digress– This is a fun card to use for Father’s Day nonetheless. And since I have a plethora of Sharpies in my collections, I figured it best to send what I love 😊! These are from the New First Draft Dies. The pocket is the new Pocketful die and the background is the New Wonky Grid Background Stamp using a bunch of TE Blues!

I love that pencil–The fact it is separate dies to be able to add the fun details! Love it! 🙂

Next up, I used the New Tools of the Trade along with the Pocketful to create another Dad’s Day card. This one also used the previously released Simple Strips – Man Myth Legend set.

I’m also loving the new Plaid Background. I stamped this with Brussels Sprout on Green Tea. I die cut the tools from TE Silver Cardstock which worked out perfectly!

I though it would be fun to score the backdrop and splatter the dickens out of it since this is how home improvement projects look–that and 15 trips to Home Depot 😂.

And last but not least, this fun one for anyone! This uses the new 5 O’Clock Somewhere Stamp & Stencil Combo and New Worth a Shot sentiment set. Super fun and the The Deco Gel 1.0 MilkyWay set works perfectly on the Black Licorice to create this fun night time celebration!

I white heat embossed these and then colored them in. Love the way the colors POP!

Ok–Here’s the scoop from Taylored Expressions for today’s new release:

Taylored Expressions-New Colors!!

Today is the NEW COLOR release over at Taylored Expressions!! I don’t know about you, but I always love new colors and this release is no exception! 🙂 Don’t even ask me to pick a favorite, because I have found them all useful in some combo and I can’t wait to use them all the time now!

The four new colors are:

  • Brussels Sprout
  • Green Tea
  • Blue Cheese
  • Oat Milk

I used them all here with the Spring Fling Layered Stencil, Garden Variety 2, Rustic Watering Can and the A2 Postage Stamp Stacklets.

This turned out sooo lovely and pretty! The sentiment is from On Occasion. I added a few extra colors to give the stencil blending some more pop, so I needed a bigger TE True Colors Inkspiration Card! 🙂

This seems like a very cheerful card to pop into the mail for someone! 🙂

Next up, I couldn’t resist the 60’s/70’s color kitchen vibes! I couldn’t decided with scheme to go with, so I might have gone a little overboard adding all the colors, but hey, it’s creating 🙂

So therefore, I used all the new colors Brussels Sprout. Green Tea, Blue Cheese, and Oat Milk and a splattering of “old” colors: Sweet Potato and Dijon!

I had to use the toast, so then I had to put googley eyes on him! ha!! 🙂 If you give a Mouse a Cookie…

While this one is a bit busy, I still think it turned out pretty retro and fun! 🙂 The What’s Cookin’ set makes me what to get out all the vintage Pyrex and Corningware for sure! 🙂

Ok–Here’s the scoop from Taylored Expressions for today’s color release:

Now for a limited time, we’ve got a Full Set Syndrome Bundle for $106 that includes: 60 sheets of cardstock (15 of each color), 40 A2 envelopes (10 of each color), 4 full size ink pads, 4 mini ink pads, 4 ink refills, True Colors – Shades of Spring stamp set, and True Colors – Shades of Spring labels. It’s a great way to add all 4 colors to your collection and keep them organized! Offer valid while supplies last.

Paradise Found Release Blog Hop, Day 2!

Hello! Welcome to my stop on this fun Blog Hop to celebrate Catherine Pooler’s new Spa Ink Release and Paradise Found products!!

I could not enjoy the new inks more! My favorite might be the Green Tea! And I did NOT see that coming! Haaaa! 🙂

How about some cards? Yes- Onward!

I stamped the new Plaid Background with the Sauna Ink and then added some black lines with a fine black pen. I like how it pulled some of the black into the background. I then cut the scalloped panel (gulp!) and stitched it on to my card base before adhering the white embossed sentiment. I die cut the Best die a couple of times and layered that up, adhering that along with a tiny heart for the Tags, etc. Dies (Counting Blessing SOA Collection).

This is one of those cards that grew on me over time. At first I almost binned it, but I’m glad it stuck it out because it is now a fave! 🙂

My next card uses the Birds of a Feather stamp set and the new Birds of a Feather Die.

How awesome are these new ink colors?! ❤ them! They are: Daydream, Mandarin Spice and Green Tea. (Watch out Tutti Frutti, there’s a new orange in town 🙂 )

For this, I inked up the large feather from the Birds of a Feather set, and stamped them all on white cardstock. I die cut them all out with the new die and gave them a slight score line to fold along before stitching and pinching them upward. I scored the card panel and adhered all to my card base. Fun!

This next card I’m sharing today, uses the new Winter Wonderland stamp set. The little critters on this set are very cute and there are lots of little detail stamps that help make a complete scene easily.

I stamped the trees in my new a fore mentioned fave, Green Tea. The red elements are stamped in Peppermint Scrub and the deer is stamped in Icing on the Cake. Oh, and the snowflakes are stamped in second generation of Black Jack. Catherine’s inks work awesome for that technique– which is fabulous if you’d like just a lighter version of a color.

It’s such a cozy little scene!

Next up, a card featuring the new Small Doily die and stamps from the Medallion Mix-Up Stamp set. Again, I used the new Green Tea color for tag. 🙂 The tag and the hearts are from the previous Counting Blessings SOA Collection–the Tags, etc. Dies.

This card was very tricky to photograph at a good angle. I also didn’t predict that challenge–ha! But in person, it looks very delicate and lovely cut from vellum and folded up to create a flower type element. This card is going to be for my Grandmother on her 94th Birthday next week!  ❤

I again scored the card panel and stitched everything on to the card base after adding some twine to the tag. This card turned out so lovely! I can’t wait to give it to my Grannie. 🙂

I hope you have enjoyed my stop along this hop! I ended up having several cards because once I started creating, they just kept coming! And I still have two more to share in the future!
