Taylored Expressions-New Colors!!

Today is the NEW COLOR release over at Taylored Expressions!! I don’t know about you, but I always love new colors and this release is no exception! 🙂 Don’t even ask me to pick a favorite, because I have found them all useful in some combo and I can’t wait to use them all the time now!

The four new colors are:

  • Brussels Sprout
  • Green Tea
  • Blue Cheese
  • Oat Milk

I used them all here with the Spring Fling Layered Stencil, Garden Variety 2, Rustic Watering Can and the A2 Postage Stamp Stacklets.

This turned out sooo lovely and pretty! The sentiment is from On Occasion. I added a few extra colors to give the stencil blending some more pop, so I needed a bigger TE True Colors Inkspiration Card! 🙂

This seems like a very cheerful card to pop into the mail for someone! 🙂

Next up, I couldn’t resist the 60’s/70’s color kitchen vibes! I couldn’t decided with scheme to go with, so I might have gone a little overboard adding all the colors, but hey, it’s creating 🙂

So therefore, I used all the new colors Brussels Sprout. Green Tea, Blue Cheese, and Oat Milk and a splattering of “old” colors: Sweet Potato and Dijon!

I had to use the toast, so then I had to put googley eyes on him! ha!! 🙂 If you give a Mouse a Cookie…

While this one is a bit busy, I still think it turned out pretty retro and fun! 🙂 The What’s Cookin’ set makes me what to get out all the vintage Pyrex and Corningware for sure! 🙂

Ok–Here’s the scoop from Taylored Expressions for today’s color release:

Holiday Giving from Taylored Expressions

Taylored Expressions has a New Release today and it is all about giving–it’s the Perfect Present-ation release! This is always a fun release!

First up, we have The Cool Crew! EEEEP! I love these little snowmen (and snowomen!). I kept this really simple, but rainbowtastic for sure! I die cut all the colors of cardstock (ok not all, but many) and then assembled three of the snowman die cuts together (to make 12) adding all their winter adornments. This is going to be so fun on the mantle all season long. (Or maybe in my crafty area? 🤭)

My favorite is the little snowman with the ear flap and pom pom! 🙂

I took this photo a few weeks ago, and it looks deceptively warm outside, doesn’t it? 🙂

Have fun with these guys! Have them inside a card and fold them out, or cut them up, or add them up! 🙂

Next up, we have All Tucked In-Holiday Windows! This could not be any easier to add on to the All Tucked In little treat boxes. I stamped the cardstock using Playful Plaid Background and Diagonal Diamonds Background and then assembled them.

(Tip: Stamp the backgrounds AFTER you die cut the boxes. Much easier. The background almost covers the entire box, but not quite. You just have to strategically stamp to one edge and then stamp the little flap part separately–easy peasy!)

I added malted milk balls to mine and they are nice and snug. Lots of things fit in these–even cash–just sayin’ 😉

Do you have a favorite? I keep changing mine… Tree, snowflake, ornament…. 🙂

Lastly, but certainly not least, we have the new Get Thready Tag Tree! I decided it would be fun to try die cutting them and stitching the felt. Lots of pastel colors for these.

I stitched these up and added some Sugar Cube Cardstock to the back that I die cut using the Tree Treat Wrap. You can use the To/From stamps you might have from various things, including the Valentine’s Kid’s Kit. Perfect!

I also wanted to try some cardstock and the Sparkly Red DMC Floss that TE is offering along with this release. I used Cupcake and Red Pepper (my fave!) and stitched these tags up too. This could not be easier while riding in the car or watching TV. Next thing you know, you have 20 tags ready to adorn your gift boxes. It’s like an extra little gift!

I also added the Silver stars cut from the TE Glitter Cardstock and the Bits & Pieces – Silver Drip Drops. Fun fun!

Here’s the scoop from TE:

Right now through Sunday, October 23rd, purchase the Tree Lot Bundle (Get Thready – Tag Tree die collection, Tree Treat Wrap die collection, and Tree Lot stamp set) for $68 and receive walnut tree trunks (set of 10) plus 3 skeins of light effect embroidery floss (red, green, and gold) for FREE. You’ll be able to create unique and adorable tree tags and treat wraps for the holiday season with this bundle of products! Offer valid while supplies last.
