Taylored Expressions-New Colors!!

Today is the NEW COLOR release over at Taylored Expressions!! I don’t know about you, but I always love new colors and this release is no exception! 🙂 Don’t even ask me to pick a favorite, because I have found them all useful in some combo and I can’t wait to use them all the time now!

The four new colors are:

  • Brussels Sprout
  • Green Tea
  • Blue Cheese
  • Oat Milk

I used them all here with the Spring Fling Layered Stencil, Garden Variety 2, Rustic Watering Can and the A2 Postage Stamp Stacklets.

This turned out sooo lovely and pretty! The sentiment is from On Occasion. I added a few extra colors to give the stencil blending some more pop, so I needed a bigger TE True Colors Inkspiration Card! 🙂

This seems like a very cheerful card to pop into the mail for someone! 🙂

Next up, I couldn’t resist the 60’s/70’s color kitchen vibes! I couldn’t decided with scheme to go with, so I might have gone a little overboard adding all the colors, but hey, it’s creating 🙂

So therefore, I used all the new colors Brussels Sprout. Green Tea, Blue Cheese, and Oat Milk and a splattering of “old” colors: Sweet Potato and Dijon!

I had to use the toast, so then I had to put googley eyes on him! ha!! 🙂 If you give a Mouse a Cookie…

While this one is a bit busy, I still think it turned out pretty retro and fun! 🙂 The What’s Cookin’ set makes me what to get out all the vintage Pyrex and Corningware for sure! 🙂

Ok–Here’s the scoop from Taylored Expressions for today’s color release:

Now for a limited time, we’ve got a Full Set Syndrome Bundle for $106 that includes: 60 sheets of cardstock (15 of each color), 40 A2 envelopes (10 of each color), 4 full size ink pads, 4 mini ink pads, 4 ink refills, True Colors – Shades of Spring stamp set, and True Colors – Shades of Spring labels. Taylored Expressions… NEW COLORS!

Today at Taylored Expressions there are NEW COLORS! And I don’t know about you, but I am always excited for NEW COLORS! It’s always so fun to combine with the old colors and get to know them more and more each project!

The new colors are:

  • Cinnamon
  • Huckleberry
  • Jalapeño
  • Sour Gummy

These come in all the things! Ink, cardstock, refills and envelopes and they are oh so good! Now, combining them with the existing colors puts everything into a new colorful stratosphere. SO FUN!

For this card, I used all the new colors: Cinnamon, Huckleberry, Jalapeño and Sour Gummy. I also used Rose Water and Dijon. I have to admit, I can’t say I’ve ever reached for a combo like this before, but I love the combo and the feel for fall!

Sour Gummy might be my new favorite color! It transcends both the blue and green categories into its own! 🙂 (My Jalapeño here photographed a bit lighter than I think it looks in person, but it was a rainy day if I recall–which makes all the photos a challenge!)

For the background here, I foiled the Foil It – Fineline Leaves with Champagne foil, which was the perfect compliment to this combo. The sentiment is from Foil It – All Together Occasions and of course, I used the All Together Occasions Coordinating Die to die cut that out.

I haven’t gotten to use the Snow Globe Builder Dies yet, so I did that with the Arched Stacklets to create a shaker card. Inside are all the fall leaves cut with the Garden Variety-Fall. This turned out delightful to me! (The shaker bits are Snow Flurries and the Bits & Pieces Rose Gold Stars (not in my supply list, but still available as of this morning 😉). I may have been overzealous and put too many leaves in because they don’t shake about too much, but they sure are pretty!

Next up, I focused on inks using masks of the Garden Variety-Fall leaves I cut from Post-It tape.

I used the Masking Stencils – Squares along with the masks I created and just masked the leaves off before blending inks all around them. I had this in my head after blending ink on the leaves for my snow globe and seeing the mat underneath with all the leaves “imprinted”. Reminded me of how you put the leaves in the sun on that special paper to leave in imprint. So hence, this card. 🙂

I came back with some score lines to create the frame and added a bunch of splatters and some stitching. The sentiment is from the Mini Strips – Floral stamp and voila, done! 😊😊

And last, but not least, I have been wanting to use the Buds & Blossoms Stamp and Stencil Combo for a long while, so I busted that out here:

The background is stamped in Cinnamon and the buds are blended in Huckleberry. The colors are pretty stuttle looking in this photo, but in person, I think they popped a bit more. The leaves are Mint Julep and Jalapeno, while the buds are Raspberry Sorbet/Pink Champagne and Sweet Potato Pie/Peaches ‘n’ Cream

The Thanks and sentiment is from the Big Thanks set (and Coordinating die). Of course, I used the Frame in Frame 2 Cutting Plate to frame it all out with the Diagonal Stitch Rectangle Stacklets for a subtle little framing detail too.

Oh and don’t forget to fill up on the Inkspiration cards again! Those are so fun and I love to cut the cardstock swatches to put on those. So tidy!

I can’t wait to keep working these new colors into things with all the existing colors–truly some great compliments to the  TE collection!

NEW COLORS from Taylored Expressions today!

Today at Taylored Expressions, there is a new release of COLORS today!! Oh goodness I am so excited to share the news!! Buckle up, here we go….

SEVEN new colors to be exact: Dragon Fruit, Bubblegum, Mango, Kiwi, Dill Pickle, Cotton Candy and Snow Cone! There isn’t a new color I don’t full enjoy, so how can I play favorites? Well, I had to start somewhere. 😂

First up, we I used Dragon Fruit, Bubblegum, Strawberry Milkshake, Blueberry, Cotton Candy and Snow Cone AND I used the new Stitched Easy Strips. Just went I thought Easy Strips couldn’t be any better, BAM!

I also used the NEW Easy Strips Maps, v. 2 (which will also work with the previously released Easy Strips). These are so fun and craftherputic to put together. I just want to cut all the strips and put together all the maps.

Once I put it together, I die cut it out with the A2 Stacklet dies. The sentiment is the Shout Out – You Did It! Die which I die cute twice–once in Blueberry and once in Sugar Cube. I left the die cuts in the negative to keep everything lined up perfectly and then just put liquid glue to adhere. I thought for sure things would get wonky, but somehow I lucked out. 🙂

I love how this came together!

Next up, I used the inks and the Hexagon Masking stencils to get abstract. This time I used Dragon Fruit (which I super love), Mango, Kiwi, Dill Pickle, Cotton Candy, Blueberry and Oyster.

I used some accent stamps from the Abstract Accents Stencil & Clear Combo and the sentiment is from the Oh Yes You Did set with coordinating dies too.

Next up, I snuck in a card for Mother’s Day using the new colors. For this one, I stamped the Full of Flowers Cling & Clear Combo in Oyster and then added the new colors: Dragon Fruit, Mango, Kiwi, Dill Pickle and Cotton Candy.

The “Mom” is called On the Block – Mom and the Simple Strip is from the Mini Strips – Floral stamp. I think I also added a smidge of Granny Smith in there…

I also used the Hexagon Stacklets and the Ridged Hexagon Stacklets to create the panel. The background is created with the Diamonds Piercing Plate. This was a fun little number to put together.

I have been using the new colors more and more, and I’m a fan! Hooray for these new additions.

Here’s the scoop from Taylored Expressions:

Taylored Expressions: NEW Colors!

Taylored Expressions has a New COLOR Release today and it’s GOOD stuff! When was the last time we had new colors? I can’t remember, but I bet they will talk about it on the TE Blog or Taylor will mention on her Facebook Live today on the Taylored Expressions site. 🙂

The new colors are:  Rose Water, Banana Cream Pie, Dried Fig, Macaron, Oyster, and Tropical Punch.

First up, I used the Roundabout Stencil to create a fun pattern on this card before adding the Simple Strips – Snarky sentiments… which, of course, make me LAUGH! I used the following colors: Rose Water, Sweet Potato Pie, Dijon, Tropical Punch and Oyster. (I’m feeling Oyster is going to be used on everything henceforth! It’s the color I have been pining for 😂)

I masked off the “squares” using Post-it tape and just kept the pattern random and flowing. I think this turned out fun in the end, adding the splat and some stitching. 🙂 This stencil is cool because you can make it look like these “squares” like I did, or make it more like petals, inking it the other way, splaying the petals out. Does that make sense?

Next up, I took a swing at the NEW cardstocks! I love the Layer It – Toadstools and I thought those would be fun to make a clean and simple card. I added the sentiment from Just Saying, which I thought was perfect for “mushrooms” since they just kind pop up, just like this card in the mail. 🙂

I used the following colors for this one: Pineapple, Poblano Pepper, Oyster, Pineapple and Plum Punch. Random, I know! I like to mix it up crazy sometimes. 🙂

I created the background with the recently released Cloudy Skies Piercing Plate and the last year (?) released Build a Scene – Heart Fence & Hill to create a simple and fun scene. I have a bunch of Toadstools left, so I need to make another! 🙂

I hope you enjoy adding the new colors to your collection!! I can’t wait to SWATCH all the things myself!!
