May the Fork Be With You!

In case you missed it, Ellen Hutson has a new Release available now and it’s  delightful,  as  always! I have been having a lot of fun with it. These simple little cards are fun to make. And as simple as they are, they tend to take awhile to design. 😄 But to be fair, I am not the fastest at much of anything. 😉

Once again, I used these new sets for this card: Bear Ware Dress Up Sentiments, Bear Ware Dress Up 2, Bear Ware Dress Up 2 dies, Bear Ware Dress Up 1, and Bear Ware Dress Up 1 DiesI colored everything with Copic Markers. And of course, the All Inside bear to hold all the forks together. ❤

I also used the previously release Bear Ware 4, Bear Ware 4 Dies and the Wonky Backdrops.

I cannot wait to send this to a friend on May 4th!! Tooooo Funny!!

I hope you also got a laugh out of this one… check out my other card from this past weekend HERE. I love puns. Just so fun!!

MORE Bear Ware from Ellen Hutson!

Hooray!! Ellen Hutson has a new Release available now and its packed with fun–and BEAR WARE!!

I used three new sets for this card: Bear Ware Dress Up Sentiments, Bear Ware Dress Up 1, and Bear Ware Dress Up 1 DiesI colored everything with Copic Markers. GAH!! I super duper love when I can add anything else to my All Inside bear to hold! Another stellar job, Julie Ebersole!!

Anytime I can make a card for our son, I jump at the opportunity. He still appreciates a cute card, so this is perfect and he always gives me an eye roll at a good pun. Which you know is “I like this a lot but I cannot admit that to you, Mom”. 😂

So so fun!! I cannot wait to peruse the rest of the release too and make more cards with all the things! I will be back again soon with more and then again later in the month. I can’t wait!!

Check out the whole NEW RELEASE from Ellen Hutson!!

Thanks for stopping by–have a great weekend!!

Ellen Hutson’s: 12 Days of TAGS!

Today, I am helping to celebrate the 12 Days of Tags with Ellen Hutson and it couldn’t be more fun! I love holiday tags! Well, full disclosure, I just love tags period. 🙂

(If you are looking for my Taylored Expressions post, please click HERE.😊 )

As I’m sure you’ve gathered, I naturally gravitate to using Julie Ebersole’s  Sweet Surprises set  and (Sweet Surprises Dies). I colored the little bear with Copic Markers and then die cut him and his candy cane with the Sweet Surprises Dies. He needed someone to look after him, so I used original Bear from  All Inside (All Inside Dies) and all his accoutrements from Bear Ware 2.

This sentiment is from Tag It-Christmas and the tag I used is from the awesome  Farmhouse Tags set. I created the polka dot background using the Wonky Backgrounds set (essential!) and used strips of scrap cardstock to create the stripes. I think this turned out oh so cute! These little bears get me every time!

(This little bear is the teeny tiny version of All Inside (All Inside Dies).)

Here are all the details from Ellen Hutson to get in on the fun:

This year, we asked 24 talented designers to create a tag inspired by a favorite Christmas carol. Their clever – and sometimes humorous – tags are sure to inspire. But their awesome tags are only half the fun; we always look forward to seeing what our designers’ tags inspire YOU to make, and we welcome you to join the fun by creating tags inspired by each day’s song (with a chance to win a shopping spree at ellenhutson.com to boot)!

Here’s a link to the whole  Winter Release from Ellen Hutson.

One quick list of just the Ellen Hutson products I used today:

More Fun with Ellen Hutson’s Winter Release!

In case you missed it, Ellen Hutson has a new Winter Release available now and its packed with holiday and winter goodness! So fun! Hopefully you have seen some projects out and about on the interwebs.

Today, I’m sharing a card using the new Sending Holiday Cheer  set by Julie Ebersole and Holly Jolly Christmas by Julie, as well as the previously released A2 Piercing Plate 2. The Fa La La & Tree are from the Holly Jolly set–stamp and Holly Jolly Die.

How FUNNY is THIS? The snarky sentiment is from Sending Holiday Cheer— I kinda wanted to cross out the “Just Kidding” to make it even more snarky, but I refrained. 😂

I used the A2 Piercing Plate 2 to create the background about the scored lines, giving it some subtle texture. Then I stamped the stars with Golden Glitz Delicata. To finish it off, I added some zig zag stitching.

I’m looking forward to making more with the new Winter Release from Ellen Hutson!  I’ve been under the weather here myself, but look forward to getting back to all the things ASAP!

*Please note that the gift is automatically added to qualifying orders/while supplies last.

If you missed my previous post from last week, check that out HERE because it is another funny sweet card there.

Ellen Hutson’s Winter Release!

Today the Winter Release from Ellen Hutson is available and it is SNOW much fun! There is a little something for everyone to create with in this one, for sure! 🙂 And there is a FREE GIFT with qualifying purchases–see the end of my post for details.

Naturally, the first set I had to use was Julie Ebersole’s new Sweet Surprises set  and (Sweet Surprises Dies). Because: Bear. I stamped and die cut a bunch of these sweet surprises out to color with Copic Markers. I then die cut them all with the Sweet Surprises Dies.

Of course, once I saw this sentiment in the Sending Holiday Cheer by Julie Ebersole (Julie: Again!! 🤍)  stamp set, well, that was that. Haaaaa! The little bear was going in upside down! Poor guy 😊–But this is my current mood too, so it’s perfect! Double ha!! It’s fine. We’re Fine. Everything is fine. 😂

(This little bear is the teeny tiny version of my little buddy from one of my all time faves: All Inside (All Inside Dies).)

I created the tone on tone snowflake background with the new die set called Snowflake Die set (go figure 😊) I have found that I am a bit of a snowflake snob over the years… that one is too pointy, that one is too intricate, etc. etc…. BUT THESE– ❤❤❤!! I love their simplistic shapes and that they are all the same. Which I know is counterintuitive to the nature of a snowflake and all, but there is something about having them all be the same and available in different sizes that is VERY appealing. Plus, I like their rounded tips. 😉

I added some stitching to those and wammo! All set!

I am definitely enjoying this whole new Winter Release from Ellen Hutson and I hope you are too! I will be back this weekend with more to share! 🙂 I can’t wait! I need a week off to create with these fun goodies. 🙂

*Please note that the gift is automatically added to qualifying orders/while supplies last.

Another WCMD card using the new Ellen Hutson set!

I hope you didn’t miss World Card Making Day this past Saturday! I Ellen Hutson has this   super new  set  called Bear Ware Grand Tour and  more! This card of course uses the new Bear Ware Grand Tour set (and coordinating dies). And I also used the new Planet Surface dies to create the little world he is sitting on.

Ciao bella! This time, he is in Italy, or just come from there, maybe more likely. 🙂 So fun! 🙂 He brought his pasta along too… teehee!

Once again, I colored everything with Copic Markers and die cut them all out. This time he had to hold the Leaning Tower of Pisa and his little camera! 🙂 I die cut the Planet Surface and then used the A2 Piercing Plate 2 to give it some extra texture. I created the background using the previously released Nordic Cross Cover and added some stitching to finish off the fun! Ciao ciao ciao! ❤

You can find the new World Card Making Day release HERE with the Bear Ware Grand Tour and Planet Surface dies available.

If you missed my post on Saturday, please find that one HERE!  Too cute! 🙂

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great week!

Celebrating WCMD with Ellen Hutson today!

Today is World Card Making Day! I don’t know about you, but this is a fun day! I seem to always be busy doing something that doesn’t involve cardmaking, but I’m hoping 2021 is my year to celebrate in true form! And let me tell you, Ellen Hutson has just the set to enjoy a smile today! I ADORE this set! 🙂And on with my card! 🙂

This is the new set released today for WCMD: Bear Ware Grand Tour set (and coordinating dies). Gahhhhhh! I squealed when I opened my mailbox and then yelped when I opened the envelope. It is TOO MUCH! 🤍🤍🤍 I was so excited. First up, a little buddy for All Inside (and All Inside Dies) and then he (and really THEY) have all these new things to use and hold. I love!

I colored everything with Copic Markers and die cut them all out. I love to have a little pile of fun to choose from in order to create. I kept everything else very simple blending on a faint background after masking and then added a few splats. I mean, he is holding the London Tower and the Eifel Tower, like stuffies. TOO cute and fun! 🙂

I’ll be back again in a couple days with another card featuring this new Bear Ware Grand Tour set AND other new set Planet Surface and the previously released Nordic Cross Cover and A2 Piercing Plate 2. If I’m super lucky, I’ll be back again before that with another card I made today! 🙂 Let’s hope the day is a fun one to create for everyone. ❤

You can find the new World Card Making Day release HERE with the Bear Ware Grand Tour and Planet Surface dies available. I’m off to the shop the 20% off sale at Ellen Hutson myself HERE!

Thanks again for stopping by! Have a great day making!

Take care–Jill 🙂
