First up, we have one of the two new Postage Collage Sets! This one is called:  Postage Collage Beach Days Stencil + Postage Collage Beach Days Stamp Set. This also uses the new cutting plate called: Happy Waves Panel Die. I also used the Postage Collage Blocks Stencil to fill in some of the background on this one and my 4th of July card.

This is definitely one of my favorite cards from this release 🙂 It makes me think I’m on the beach sending postacards! 🙂

So fun! 🙂

This next card cracks me up! Hello little fry thief! This little bird thief is from the Happy Seagull Die set. The sentiment is from the new Inquisitive Seagulls Stamp Set.

The bottom sand is created with the new Wavy Borders Die which I can see using often to just create that perfect rolling finished edge for many a things! 🙂

I also love the new Beach Umbrella Die n Stencil! This one is super easy to use and make allllll the beach umbrellas with. And the new Oversized Beach Word Die works swimmingly with the new subsentiments this month!

And again the new Happy Waves Panel Die is FABULOUS! So easy to create some subtle texture.

I really wish I was in one of these cards about now! 🙂

Next up, I used the Beach Umbrella Die n Stencil along with the new Sea Foam Stencil. I created the sand with the new Wavy Borders Die. I also used the new Pocket Slots Die to hold the gift card–big fan of this finished slot!

The Hello is from the new Beach Days Greetings Stamp Set. How fun to create your sentiment in the sand!

One of my new favorites I can see using OFTEN is the Beach Tote Die! Super fun and full customizable! Also, perfect for giftcards! Eeeeep! 🙂 It also uses the new Beach Tote Sentiments Stamp Set to create the towel and includes the sentiments!

And then there are these funny new Inquisitive Seagulls dies and again the Inquisitive Seagulls Stamp Set.

The beach collection icons are from the Seashells Die set.

The second new addtion to the Postage Collage Collection is this Postage Collage 4th of July Stencil + 4th of July Stencil Stamp.

This background is created with the previously released Sparkles Panel Die.

And this last card full of celebratory funny fun (wow! that’s a mouth full! 😂) Combining both the Postage Collage 4th of July Stencil and the Postage Collage Beach Days Stencil.

The background of this one is the much loved and used Dashed Rhombus Panel Die. The sentiment is from the new Birthday Wishes Stamp Set + the Birthday Wishes Coordinating Die Set.

The Postage Collage sets are always super fun and I like to mix those in. There are different Postage Collage Sizes HERE!

Spring Florals Release from Taylored Expressions

Today at Taylored Expressions, there is a new release for Spring Florals!! This release includes probably one of my all time favorites for Create-In-Quads–Just sayin’! 🙂

Let’s jump right into that Quad, shall we? This one is called Ever in Bloom and it is lovely and has a lot of extras to add on to perk it up even further!

For these backgrounds, I used Stitched Rectangle Stacklets, Petite Scallop Rectangle Stacklets, Frame in Frame 2, Pierced Circles Cutting Plate and Rays Pierce & Cut Plate.

I used two widths of Easy Strips on the card above to give a landing place to my sentiment, using the majority of this floral panel this way. I used the following inks: Strawberry Milkshake, Raspberry Sorbet, Dijon, Honey, Spearmint, Mint Julep and Poblano Pepper.

I also used the following two circle dies to frame my sentiments on Vellum: Open Scallop Circle and Stitched Frame Stacklets 3. I love how these came together. 🙂

I foiled 3 out of 4 of them with Pewter Foil, which you cannot tell in these photos, but in person, it gives that little extra shimmer sham. 🙂

The one just above here, I used the Create-In-Quads Ever In Bloom Sprays Die to cut this out and placed it on the card with foam tape. OH and all the sentiments are from the Hello Lovely stamp set die cut out with the Hello Lovely dies.

This card above, I used the Create-In-Quads Ever in Bloom Frame Die to cut out the center and frame the sentiment. And I backed that with the Rays Pierce & Cut plate–perfect to draw to the center.  I love that these fun extra Quad dies exist! You can do just a little bit more with this Quad this way.

I added Drip Drops and stitching to complete my cards. Goodness, this Create-In-Quads Ever in Bloom creates some lovelies! 🙂

Next up, I have this sweet little summertastic card using the new Dragonflies Stamp & Stencil Combo. I also used the Dragonfly Dreams Clear Stamp and the Dragonfly Die. (If you were at Stamp Joy in person in October, check your stash!)

I stamped and die cut out the extra Dragonfly for a little extra detail that is fun to add. I added all the little details to the Dragonflies as well. Also I added all the little Hellos too! 🙂

The Hello die is called Get the Word Out – Hello but there is a new one that is the same, but it’s called Get the Word Out – Thanks released today! I’ll be using that one a lot for sure. 🙂

Here’s the scoop from Taylored Expressions:

Right now through Sunday, April 16th, when you spend $75 or more you will receive Silver Glitter Drops FREE! These round, glittery embellishments are the perfect way to add sparkle and shine to your floral card projects and more! Offer valid while supplies last.

New “For Her” Release from Taylored Expressions

There is a new “For Her” Release today at Taylored Expressions! This release has lots of goodies for Mother’s Day as well as sweet florals we can use everyday–Love that!

First up, here’s a fun little duo made with the same stencil set. It is called Boots & Blooms and you get two cards 1-2-3! I added a little fuss to mine in the end, but honestly, you can stencil this quick and simple and be done!

I stenciled the boot/watering can with Gumball and Blueberry inks, going back to add a few details with my white gel pen.

For the background on this first one, I used the Pierced Circles Cutting Plate along with the Stitched Rectangle Stacklets and Petite Scallop Rectangle Stacklets. The sentiment is from the New Mix & Match For Her stamp set and the Honeycomb Cluster Die was previously released as well.

The sentiments above all rest on the previously released Modern Sentiment Labels. (I trimmed one of them down using partial die cutting 😉) I stenciled the flowers with Strawberry Milkshake, Lollipop, Peaches n Cream, Candy Corn, Banana Cream Pie, Pineapple, Granny Smith and Peapod.

When I was done stenciling, I added a few sweeps with some Copic Markers to added a little more texture. Very slightly–you can add more detail or add none. Honestly, I would typically add no extra coloring myself, as they turn out lovely with the different layers alone. 🙂

I used the Diagonal Stitched Square Stacklets and the Petite Scallop Square Stacklets on this last one, finishing it off with some stitching and Clear Drip Drops. Oh and the sentiment! This comes from the new Mini Strips – Floral stamp. Love the Simple Strips and Mini Strips! I’m always so happy to see a new one!

Next up, I am beyond excited that there are some new Roll With It Flowers in the TE catalog! I had the first two flowers and I have been eagerly wanting to use them, but never got around to it (story of my life!). But now, there are two more! Roll With It Flowers 3 & 4 (sold seperately). So I got them all out and Rolled with it. 🙂

I really enjoy the TE Wool Felt, so I was excited and ready to use it for these flowers. My two new favorite colors I used here Dark Berry & Peacock–along with Butterscotch, Raspberry Jam and Tangerine! I rolled them pretty tightly, but if you were doing a larger scale project, you can have much larger flowers easy by not rolling them as tight. Gah–so fun!

These sweet flowers are adhered to this card base that is stamped in Avocado (!) with the new Hold My Blooms set–how cute are these leaves? I love this whimsy look–so sweet! Don’t forget the Always Ready Fast Grab Tacky Glue and alllllllllllllll the TE Wool Felts if you are ordering these Roll With it Flowers today. Ok, maybe not all of the felts, but several. Ask me how I know! 🙂 (Heather Nichols made me purchase several new felts while I was a Stamp Joy Virtual earlier in March. “Made me”!–ha!) This comes from the new Mini Strips – Floral stamp.

Here’s the scoop from Taylored Expressions:

Right now through Sunday, April 9th, purchase the Boots & Blooms Bundle (Boots & Blooms Layering Stencil set, Boots & Blooms die collection, Mini Strips – Floral stamp, and The Insiders – For Her panels) for the discounted price of $49 (regular retail $55). Purchase of the Boots & Blooms Bundle also gains you access to the Girls Night In Live Event taking place on April 28th 7PM Central Time hosted by Taylor, Madi (Taylor’s daughter), and Linda (Taylor’s Mom)! Offer valid while supplies last.

Easter Release from Taylored Expressions

Today we are celebrating all things Spring and Easter with the Easter Release at Taylored Expressions! It feels like the tide is turning soon-ish with the weather (even though as I type this we are under a Winter Storm Warning), so we might as well shift gears in crafting right?

First up, let’s do some gnomie bunny fun, shall we? This is made with the New Bunny Dress Up dies. You also need to use the original Gnome Sweet Gnome set. They are all too cute with the ears and spring goodness!

My favorite is by far, the bunny ears and the chocolate bunny! SO cute!

Lots of cute details to add. It’s sort of like paper dolls–I’ll put this here and that there… 🙂

Gah it’s too cute! I definitely recommend just cutting the whole die set from all the colors. You’ll have a lot of extra pieces, depending on how many gnome bunnies you make. But if you make several, you’ll thank yourself! 🙂

Next up, this cute Stamp & Stencil Be Hoppy combo that is a promo for just a couple days here. Be sure to check all my details below to have the correct info and be sure not to miss it!

My first card here uses just the background stamp and adding all the bunny pom tails on! Too fun! I used Cupcake and Strawberry Milkshake ink with this background stamp

I die cut it out with the Petite Scallop Rectangle Stacklets and added a sentiment from Mini Strips- Easter. I also used the Mini Strips Backer with the Black Licorice cardstock. I had to get out the little white pom poms from my stash because BUNNIES!! Why I think they often need a pom pom tail, I don’t know, but they sure are cute!

I made another Be Hoppy for fun giving them gumdrop tails! (I used Glossy Accents to give them some oomph.)

Confetti Cake and Pineapple to create this background with the bunnies and then all the colors for the tails. Some Bunny Loves You! The sentiment is from Full Circle-Easter. I can’t wait to use this Be Hoppy again for some Easter Cards. 🙂

And my last card today, uses the new All Together-Easter. This is fabulous because you stamp allllllll the things in one swoop and then die cut them all out in one swoop! BIG FAN! It’s great because these little Easter icon are small and this magic makes it doable. Cutting out all the little dies & placing them can be time consuming, but this is just one die! 🙂

I colored all these with Copic Markers. The background is created with the Big Circles Stencil. We can use this for so many cards ahead, right?

I added a little stitching, put these on with foam tape to give them a little pop and hooray– it all turned out too cute!

Here’s the scoop from Taylored Expressions: (NOTE-These go through this Thursday 3/09 only!)

For a limited time, you can get the Serene Scene Bundle (Serene Scene Cutting Plate die, Serene Scene – Landscapes die collection, Serene Scenes – Easter Edition die collection, and Easter egg-stras stamp set) for the discounted price of $65 – regularly retails for $71! New Release from Taylored Expressions!

Taylored Expressions has a New Release today with all things Calendar and more!

I was able to use the new Stencils which are called Floral Vines to create a couple Mini Slim cards today. These stencil can be layered–which is perfect for making all the things different colors. 🙂

This first card, I made the flowers different colors along with the vines and the little filler dots. I love this little whimsy flower set!

I kept this card very simple besides using a few colors to blend on the inks. The panel is my go to combo on Mini Slim cards of the Stitched Mini Slim Stacklets and the Petite Scallop Mini Slim Stacklets in Cilantro.

I added a sentiment using the Building Blocks-Be Bright set embossed in white on Oreo. I finished these off with a few ink splatters and some stitching.

Next up, I went with a side fold Mini Slim, which is actually a TOP side fold… if that makes any sense-ha! 🙂 And once again, I used Lavender Glaze…. who am I lately? This turned out lovely. I first blended on some Sprinkles ink for flowers and then topped that with the Lavender Glaze. You can see that if you look closely. 😉

For the leaves on this card and my previous card, I used a combo of Granny Smith and Cilantro with the Bitty Blender Brushes. Makes it a lot easier to control. I decided to create a solid bar of Plum Punch on the side before adding the 1/8″ Easy Strip in Cilantro and the Signature Thanks in Plum Punch and Sugar Cube.

This isn’t my typical thing–but goodness, it did turn out lovely and I cannot wait to use this card one day. 🙂

Also, there is a NEW gift with purchase over at TE this month month–it is called Ring Around the Words! This one is so different and fun to use. I’m looking forward to making more. I combined with the Petite Scallop Rectangle Stacklets and the 1/2″ Easy Strips.

Fun fun!

Taylored Expressions: Easter Release!

Taylored Expressions has a New Release today celebrating Easter! Let’s think Spring and bunnies and sunshine!

First up, there is a new Full Circle and this time it is for Easter! Full Circle-Easter! And oh, is it cute! Anyone else agree? I white heat embossed Full Circle-Easter for this card.

After heat embossing it, I used the Stitched Circle Stacklets to cut out the circle. I love these Full Circles as backgrounds, off set and without die cutting, but for this card, I wanted to feature it with the Little Bits-Oh Hoppy Day bunnies. They are one of my TE Easter Faves with their little bunny cotton tails.

The background panel I die cut using the Stitched with Love cutting plate. That little background is so sweet, I have trouble not using it for everything. It adds a little love so subtly. The sentiment, Somebunny Loves You is from the Full Circle -Easter Set. I added a little stitching and some twine and done. 🙂

Up next, we have the new Eggstra Sweet and is it ever! I stamped three chicks because we have three in our family 😉 and colored them with Copic Markers on Potato Chip cardstock. Using a Mini Slim Panel in Sugar Cube, I used the new die cut plate, Stitched with Love to create a little interest in the background. I also added a grassy green base using the Set the Scene – Grass Stencil Strips. Perfect!

This sentiment is from the new Joyful Joyful sentiment set that I stamped ombre with some green inks and die cut that out. The sentiment strip is from Mini Strips-Easter that I die cut out with the Mini Strips Asymmetrical die. The panels are the Stitched Mini Slim Stacklets and the Petite Scallop Mini Slim Stacklets cut out of Cupcake. Always the Cupcake 🙂

Lastly for today, I have the new At the Cross die. This die comes with the solid backer plate, which I think you could use on it’s own and also with this filigree die, that layers perfectly on top, or again, can be used on its own too.

I used, wait for it… Lavender Glaze cardstock (wha?) and blended on some coordinating ink to give the filigree die cut a little extra pop. For the background, I used the new Mini Slim Rotating Ray stencil along with the Set the Scene – Clouds Stencil Strips and the Mini Slim Masking Stencils – Mini Slim Rectangle. The sentiment is Mini Strips In Reverse – Easter foiled with Silver foil. Those sentiments foil to perfection and the best part is, it is so fast and easy to create a bunch if you have several cards to make. I want alllll the Foiled sentiments all the time! 🙂

I finished this card off with some silver thread from my stash, a bit of stitching on the Mini Slim panel and the Bits & Pieces – Iridescent Rhinestones. The last panel is again cut with the Petite Scallop Mini Slim Stacklets.

The Easter release is always so fun and gives us hope of warmer days ahead, doesn’t it? I actually like Winter, but as we near the end of February, I am definitely ready for the green grass again!
