Waffle Flower: May 2024 NEW Release!

There is New Release over at Waffle Flower: BEACH DAYS! Today, we are sharing the May Release! You can find all the new products >>HERE<<!!

First up, we have one of the two new Postage Collage Sets! This one is called: Postage Collage Beach Days Stencil + Postage Collage Beach Days Stamp Set. This also uses the new cutting plate called: Happy Waves Panel Die. I also used the Postage Collage Blocks Stencil to fill in some of the background on this one and my 4th of July card.

This is definitely one of my favorite cards from this release 🙂 It makes me think I’m on the beach sending postacards! 🙂

So fun! 🙂

This next card cracks me up! Hello little fry thief! This little bird thief is from the Happy Seagull Die set. The sentiment is from the new Inquisitive Seagulls Stamp Set.

The bottom sand is created with the new Wavy Borders Die which I can see using often to just create that perfect rolling finished edge for many a things! 🙂

I also love the new Beach Umbrella Die n Stencil! This one is super easy to use and make allllll the beach umbrellas with. And the new Oversized Beach Word Die works swimmingly with the new subsentiments this month!

And again the new Happy Waves Panel Die is FABULOUS! So easy to create some subtle texture.

I really wish I was in one of these cards about now! 🙂

Next up, I used the Beach Umbrella Die n Stencil along with the new Sea Foam Stencil. I created the sand with the new Wavy Borders Die. I also used the new Pocket Slots Die to hold the gift card–big fan of this finished slot!

The Hello is from the new Beach Days Greetings Stamp Set. How fun to create your sentiment in the sand!

One of my new favorites I can see using OFTEN is the Beach Tote Die! Super fun and full customizable! Also, perfect for giftcards! Eeeeep! 🙂 It also uses the new Beach Tote Sentiments Stamp Set to create the towel and includes the sentiments!

And then there are these funny new Inquisitive Seagulls dies and again the Inquisitive Seagulls Stamp Set.

The beach collection icons are from the Seashells Die set.

The second new addtion to the Postage Collage Collection is this Postage Collage 4th of July Stencil + 4th of July Stencil Stamp.

This background is created with the previously released Sparkles Panel Die.

And this last card full of celebratory funny fun (wow! that’s a mouth full! 😂) Combining both the Postage Collage 4th of July Stencil and the Postage Collage Beach Days Stencil.

The background of this one is the much loved and used Dashed Rhombus Panel Die. The sentiment is from the new Birthday Wishes Stamp Set + the Birthday Wishes Coordinating Die Set.

Waffle Flower: April 2024 NEW Release!

There is New Release over at Waffle Flower! Today, we are sharing the April Release! You can find all the new products >>HERE<<!!

Let’s kick it off with a super colorful number that is very easy to use–this stencil is set up so it’s kind of like stencil by number! Layers are labeled and directions are given… couldn’t be easier! It’s called Wild Flowers Stencil.

Who doesn’t love a bold, big flower? This one is called Oversized Daisy Die and Stencil.

This new set called Painted Flowers Background die along with the stencil creates a stunner for sure! So easy to do too! Oh and the new Mother’s Day Word Die!

This lovely below uses the new Painted Flowers Layering Die— along with the new Mother’s Day Word Die.

This next card uses the new Pop Up Panel Tulips Die and it screams spring to me! Love this one! So fun to make!

This is a great set to grab and use in a plethora of simple ways! It’s called the Wild Flower Silhouettes Stamp set.

This card reminds me of Strawberry Shortcake–hello 1980’s! 🙂

Here I combined the Strawberries Background Stencil with the previously released Postage Collage! And why not go blue on the strawberries? Mixing it up for fun–the beauty of cardmaking!

I also used the previously released You and Me die set! (And STAMPS are available too: You & Me Stamps!!)

Again, I used the previously release Hello Spring Word Die with another of the Berry Sweet Gingham Paper Pad!

Such sweet fun! And now, I can’t wait to eat real strawberries again! 🙂 Not complaining–because it is amazing we can shop for them in the off season, but those local summer ones are the best!

Personalized Stamps from Taylored Expressions!

Taylored Expressions has some fun news today! There are new Personalized Stamps in the TE for Me shop!! I looooooooooooooooooooove mine! It was made for me both figuratively and literally. 🙂

So funnnnnnny! I am using it on all the cards now. 🙂 I have a few TE Personalized Stamps from before, and I will continue to use those too. I love them. I stamp the back of all my cards. 🙂

And in that vibe, I thought it would be fun to create a card with Big Grumpy! I used the Summer Vibes background and the Grass and Cloud stencil strips too! 🙂 Rainbow Grumpy delight!

NEW Mini Slim Essentials from Taylored Expressions!

Taylored Expressions has a New Release today and it is of all things MINI SLIM!! It’s a fun new Mini Slim Essentials Release and it’s full of add-ons to really add some details to our Mini Slim cards!

First up, there is some new little stamps in town that I added onto this Mini Slim Tri-Fold Card. This is the new Tutti Frutti set and it is SO cute! I used the previously released Mini Slim Trifold Template + Dies – Circle with the Mini Slim Trifold card base from TE.

I mean really. These fruits just make me happy! And I added some googley eyes for extra fun. 🙂

To create the front of this tri-fold, I used the previously released Masking Stencil – Mini Slim Rectangle along with the new Mini Slim Stencil – Wonky Dots. I used Cilantro, Granny Smith, Lemon Meringue and Pineapple to blend.

I die cut the circles using both and then added the two sizes to create a uniform look from the front. I think it turned out kinda fun! 🙂

This is the second layer, if you will. I used the new Mini Slim Thin Frame Cutting Plate to create this fun little border stripe. I cannot wait to use these more and create lots of stripey goodness! The thinness of the frame is going to be great to use for many things.

For this layer, I used the Go with the Flow stencil and the same color combo to blend. The little hearts are from the Little Bits – Hearts die.

The inner most layer, I used the Mini Slim Stencil – Wonky Dots again, this time in Cupcake. And a Cilantro frame from the Mini Slim Thin Frame Cutting Plate. These trifold cards are always fun to make in the end and I imagine getting one would be thrice as nice! 🙂

Next up, I have a pink little number with a new friend from the Tickled Pink Stamp & Stencil Combo. The tropically delightful stencil is the new Mini Slim Stencil – Tropical Leaves. For this one I blended on Cookie Monster, Sprinkles, Granny Smith, Cilantro and Pineapple. I used the Mini Slim Trifold Template + Dies – Hexagon to create the window, but this time wonky.

I also used the Masking Stencils – Mini Slim Scalloped Rectangle again. I guess I like that clean edging look. Who knew? 🙂

The sentiment is from the same set and you open it up to find a rainbowtasticness surprise! This one is a Top Fold Mini Slim. Which, unless you have a lot of 12 x 12 heavy weight cardstock around, I’d definitely recommend ordering a pack from TE to use. I do not have 12 x 12, so I am so glad they started offering these. 🙂 AND the tri-fold pre-made cards: 💛!!

At first I was just going to rainbow the Flamingo, and then I thought–might as well go all in with the background too! So I lined up the stencil to match the front and did just that! 🙂

This one is definitely different, but I like it! I would either add a note to the back or just sign my name with a quick note somewhere inside here. 🙂

Also, you may have noticed the new Mini Slim Scalloped Envelope Liner! AHHHHHHH– love this die! The TE Creative team did such fun things with it that you definitely want to check it out. For some reason, I went very basic using some Toffee to line the envelope. But stencils and colors are all so fun to add a little more spunk!

Summer FUN from Taylored Expressions!

Taylored Expressions has a New Release today and it is full of SUMMER fun, Glittery Goodness, COOL things and cute little treats! 🙂 There are a rainbow of TE colors available in Loose Glitter (Lollipop, Cherry Pop, Candy Corn, Peapod, Cookie Monster, Jelly Donut, Pearl, Silver, Gold and Oreo) now and it all can be adhered and enjoyed with the new Glitter Grab!

First up, I used the new Sweet Scoops and Building Blocks-Cool Additions. These Sweet Scoops are so easy to use and quite frankly, make you want a scoop or two! 🙂

You can create any ice cream flavor your sweet tooth desires! I made Mint Chocolate Chip (Mint Julep and Mushroom) and Sorbet and one of my favorites was how the Vanilla turned out! I never thought I could stamp white ice cream and with Sea Salt and a touch of Mushroom for the shading–success! 🙂 To give a little extra fun and sparkle, I used the new Pearl Glitter from TE. Alllllllllllllll the colors are so dynamic, but somehow I used the most muted one in Pearl. Ha! It just gives a subtle kick, which is what I wanted on these yummy scoops.

I added everything to the Pierced Lattice Cutting Plate background that I trimmed out with the Petite Scallop Rectangle Stacklets, of course. And all the fun sentiment blocks are from the Building Blocks-Cool Additions.

Next up, I used the Anything is Popsicle Stencil and Stamp Combo along with the Sun’s Out dies to create this totally chill card. I think those popsicles were begging for shades, so I answered the call 😎. I glittered those cuties up with the new Oreo Glitter and let me tell you, in person, SUCH fun to see that little pop of sparkle!

This fun sentiment is from the new Mini Strips- Hello Summer. I just embossed that in White on Oreo Cardstock. The simple background I created using the Mini Simple Strips-Hello Summer . I used some Lemon Meringue ink in combination with Cookie Monster. I die cut the panel all out the Mini Slim Stitched Rectangle Stacklets. This one would be fun and easy to make several cards to mail out this summer!

Lastly, we gave out a few ice cream gift cards to our little friends here, so I created these little Gift Card holders using the Tag Pocket. For these, I used the larger Sweet Scoops Ice Cream cone and mixed up my flavors even more to create Rainbow Sherbet. TOO fun! I love all those little extra stamps for the ice cream cones and the shading on the scoops. They add soooo much so simply to the already stenciled parts. I’m a big fan of the stencils to create these fun shades of ice cream.

Hello Summer! This sentiment is from the Anything is Popsicle set.

I tried to keep these pretty simple because I was limited on time, but I think they would be super fun with the new TE Glitters and some googley eyes too!

I added a little bit of twine to each. Also, I embossed the Lots of Stars folder (that is retired–eek sorry!) but the Lots of Dots Embossing Folder is a great stand in. Gives it that little extra pizzazz fairly easily. 🙂

And now, I want some ice cream in a cone again! 🙂

Sending Summer Smiles!

Hope you are enjoying your summer! Today I’m here to share a sweet little rainbow using The Stamp Market’s Dotted Rainbow! I stitched this one up and have it ready to send 🙂 ! I have a “few” more to finish. 😉

I thought it would be fun to attempt to do this stitching pattern on the rainbow and it turned out! Fun to try something different and have it work! ❤

For mounting this to the card base, I used X-press It Foam Mounting Squares. Generally, I’m a foam tape person, but these are awesome to get in the nooks and crannies of a rainbow! 🙂 And I like them because the backing peels off easy! That’s a big deal to me to not fight with the backing paper. ha!

This uses the new Fredrick and Fiona stamp set from Technique Tuesday. I stamped, colored with Copics, and then masked these cuties to blend on some Distress Ink. They make such a sweet little card. ❤Of course, I had to balance the cute with some cool, right? Here they are in their sly fox glory! 🙂 These foxes, I masked again, and colored with my Zig pens. The sunglasses are from THIS Fresh Cut Studio Summer die set. Too fun! 🙂 Too sly. 😉
