Taylored Expressions February Release: Day 2

Welcome back to Day Two of Taylored Expressions February Release Week! If you missed my post yesterday sharing day one, I’ll link you up down below. ๐Ÿ™‚

This first card features a new stamp: In the Meadow. This lovely floral stamp can be used for so many occasions and so many different ways. I can think of so many ways to stamp it already! I paired it with the Handlettered Sympathy sentiments. These stamped sentiments make these difficult cards say the heartfelt things we feel. (There is also a coordinating die to die cut these Handlettered Sympathy sentiments out.)

I stamped this with Blue Corn ink to create the silhouette flower part and sentiment and then blended on lots of TE inks with the TE Blender Brushes. It’s so lovely how they always blend out so quickly and smoothly! ๐Ÿ™‚

Next up, I have another card using Handlettered Sympathy and the new Botanical Beauty Background. Another floral stamp that is so easy to use for so many occasions and quickly or you can color it all in. The TE Creative Team made AMAZING cards coloring this lovely stamp in. You must check them out over at Taylored Expressions–jaw dropping gorgeous work! I’m telling you!

Because my Copic coloring skills are not as amazing ๐Ÿ˜‰ , I thought to try this one embossed with some TE Watercolor. I love how it turned out and these colors blended beautifully together in watercolor as well. ๐Ÿ™‚

Taylored Expressions January Release: Day 2

Welcome back to Day Two of Taylored Expressions January Release Week! If you missed my post yesterday sharing day one, I’ll link you up down below. ๐Ÿ™‚

This first card features a new stamp and die: Big Grumpy Cat. Ok–this sentiment is absolutely HILARIOUS to me!!! Bwaaahaaaaha!!! Just when Big Grumpy Cat cannot be funnier, he so is! ๐Ÿ™‚

I colored him with Copic markers and heat embossed the Shiplap Background before creating a little window behind him that I scored for some more texture back there. I also added these new bits from TE! ๐Ÿ™‚

Next up, I have another little laugh!! If you can’t tell, I love making and sending funny cards. Laughter is so good for you! ๐Ÿ™‚ This is the new Sarcasti-CHUCK!!! And check out his clothes–those are Sarcasti-CHUCK’s Wardrobe! Haaaa! What a dresser he is, don’t you think?

I colored everything with Copics before adhering all together and to the card front with foam adhesive. That sentiment is just so funny and I am so using that on my husband’s Valentine this year! ๐Ÿ™‚

You can find all my supplies and links to the Taylored Expressions Shop below.

*Right at Home with MISTI!*

Good Morning, All! You should have arrived to my blog here via Ceal Pritchett‘s blog! ๐Ÿ™‚

Today, we are having a fun blog hop between the My Sweet Petunia and the Right at Home design teams! And oh, how FUN is THAT?! DE-lightful. ๐Ÿ™‚

Buckle up, there are prizes!!

There will be a drawing for two winners from all the comments on the hop, so please leave a comment on every blog to be eligible to win one of two prizes: Winner’s choice of an original or mini MISTI, and a prize package from Right at Home (Sunflower stamp set, Harvest Blessings stamp set (new release) and two Distress Oxide Inks – in Cracked Pistachio and Peeled Paint).

Deadline for comments is September 8th at noon Central, and winners will be posted on the My Sweet Petunia and Right at Home blogs on Tuesday September 12th.

I’m excited to be sharing two cards today that I made with Right at Home stamps and the Most Incredible Stamping Tool from My Sweet Petunia!

My cards were all made with Right at Home’s super easy to use Anemone set! It’s an awesome set that can be used in quite a variety of ways.

For this card, I used an ombre ink pad. This solid fade is quite lovely with these flowers! I think I would have a hot mess if I had to stamp this repeatedly with an acrylic block vs. MISTI. I have never been good at lining things up. (If I made this one again, I might add a few white pen details. ๐Ÿ™‚ #hindsightย  What do you think?)

This sentiment is from RAH’s set, Make Something Beautiful.

Apparently, I was on a pink kick when I made these. โค ! But they look lovely in pink, right? I also learned how many pink ink pads I have. #completelynecessaryย  Haaaaa!
The MISTI makes using this RAH layering set flawless to line up or offset consistently. This is a must for me–I often need to fix spots I missed or need better ink coverage. ๐Ÿ™‚
ย For the first card above, I also used Right at Home’s Color in Sentiments and Grid Background Stamp. Love this wonky grid!
Such fun! I often don’t know what I did before MISTI?! Too funny! I do however use my MISTI backwards. Does anyone else do this? I know it’s “backwards” because whenever I see anyone else use it, they do it the reverse way. Also, as you can see in my photos above, my numbers are upside down. Another indication I use it backwards. But it works awesome any which way, so there you go! ๐Ÿ™‚ LOL!
Here’s the list of all the fun stops today! Be sure to hop along and leave comments for your chances at the prizes spelled out above! ๐Ÿ™‚

I hope you have a chance to hop through all these sure to be amazing stops!ย  Also, be sure to check out the latest Right at Home release and if you don’t have a MISTI, add it to the top of your Holiday Wish List. It is a complete game changer in the stamping world. ๐Ÿ™‚

Head on over to Maria Sabina‘s blog stop next! ๐Ÿ™‚

Wishing you all a wonderful week!

Right at Home’s New Release!

Happy Tuesday, all! I’m super excited to be over at the Right at Home blog today, celebrating their NEW release available now! Everything new can be found HERE! ๐Ÿ˜‰ It’s full ofย  flowery goodness! ๐Ÿ™‚

(Be sure to head over to the RAH Blog to read more about both these cards! <3)
I used the lovely new Anemone set for both these cards.
Lovely flowers, right? Eeeep! ๐Ÿ™‚ย  (I used Kuretake Gansai Tambi Pearl paints)
Next up, is a card I made using the layering parts of the Anemone set. I made several more of these cards, and I will be sure to share them in a couple of weeks! Yay!
These look fantastic with the dye and pigment ink mix on kraft!

For both of these cards, I used sentiments from RAH’s previously released set, Make Something Beautiful. You can check out another card I made a little while back HERE.

I hope you have a chance to check out all of the new Right at Home release! Thank you so very much to Nicole, for having me along to celebrate the fun! I really enjoyed working with this new set!

Have a great Tuesday!
