Taylored Expressions-New Colors!!

Today is the NEW COLOR release over at Taylored Expressions!! I don’t know about you, but I always love new colors and this release is no exception! 🙂 Don’t even ask me to pick a favorite, because I have found them all useful in some combo and I can’t wait to use them all the time now!

The four new colors are:

  • Brussels Sprout
  • Green Tea
  • Blue Cheese
  • Oat Milk

I used them all here with the Spring Fling Layered Stencil, Garden Variety 2, Rustic Watering Can and the A2 Postage Stamp Stacklets.

This turned out sooo lovely and pretty! The sentiment is from On Occasion. I added a few extra colors to give the stencil blending some more pop, so I needed a bigger TE True Colors Inkspiration Card! 🙂

This seems like a very cheerful card to pop into the mail for someone! 🙂

Next up, I couldn’t resist the 60’s/70’s color kitchen vibes! I couldn’t decided with scheme to go with, so I might have gone a little overboard adding all the colors, but hey, it’s creating 🙂

So therefore, I used all the new colors Brussels Sprout. Green Tea, Blue Cheese, and Oat Milk and a splattering of “old” colors: Sweet Potato and Dijon!

I had to use the toast, so then I had to put googley eyes on him! ha!! 🙂 If you give a Mouse a Cookie…

While this one is a bit busy, I still think it turned out pretty retro and fun! 🙂 The What’s Cookin’ set makes me what to get out all the vintage Pyrex and Corningware for sure! 🙂

Ok–Here’s the scoop from Taylored Expressions for today’s color release:

Now for a limited time, we’ve got a Full Set Syndrome Bundle for $106 that includes: 60 sheets of cardstock (15 of each color), 40 A2 envelopes (10 of each color), 4 full size ink pads, 4 mini ink pads, 4 ink refills, True Colors – Shades of Spring stamp set, and True Colors – Shades of Spring labels. Love Grows Here Kit from Taylored Expressions

It’s that time of the month and it’s May! So….  a NEW TE Card Kit and it’s called: Love Grows Here!  Taylored Expressions has this available today, along with lots of little extras, if you’d like. 🙂

Let’s get this Plant Party started, because I have no shelf control 😂😂

So fun–I love a good pun, and this one made me laugh. Of course, to really bring home the message, plants with googley eyes– I couldn’t resist! I used these combos for inks on the pots–lots of new colors! Mango and Candy Corn  & Snow Cone and  Cotton Candy.

I foiled one of these new panels from the Foil It – Essential Patterns with Champagne foil to create a “wallpapered” background, if you will.

Oh and I cut it out with the Stitched Rectangle Stacklets before stitching it on. 🙂

Next up, I wanted to create a wall of plants. I was originally thinking I’d do that organic wall of plantings only, but then I missed the pots… so I added them in. 🙂

I created a subtle background white heat embossing the new Knock on Wood Background and the Big Circle Cutting Plate.

I also love this sentiment–because some days are really like this, aren’t they? 🤣 I also used the Shelf Control Coordinating Dies (purchased separately) to cut out the sentiments on my cards.

So fun–this kit is super easy to create fun little cards with and I am looking forward to planting more myself. These need zero water to enjoy endlessly! Don’t forget the cutie Love Grows Here envelope seals too!

I forgot to take a photo of the inside of my card and I mailed it to Iowa—I might have to ask someone there to do it–oops!

PSA Reminder: TE kits tend to sell out and sometimes quite rapidly. If you are interested in this kit, be sure you order it ASAP so you don’t miss out. Sometimes it’s only hours before they sell out. Just a little memo.

Here Comes the Sun Card Kit from Taylored Expressions

It’s a super sunny day over at TE! There is a new Card Kit and it’s called: Here Comes the Sun Card Kit!  Taylored Expressions is releasing this today and there are lots of fun extras, in addition to the kit. Details on those extras at the end of my post here.

First, let me say that this kit has my name written all over it. It has sunshine and cute little smiley faces, so really, I was immediately ALL in. 🙂

First up, I used one of the cute and super fun additions to the kit: Radiant Cutting Plate. I was planning on using this vertically til I finished putting all the rays in and realizing… OH, this needs googley eyes!! 🙂

I can’t even stand it! 🙂 Plus I can make five more of these pretty quickly because I have all the pieces die cut out already. 😉

I added the smiley from the kit —Clearly Crafty Here Comes the Sun stamp set and some stitching and called it good! I always say simple cardmaking is actually tricky, but when you’re done, you’re done.  🙂

The little sentiment is from the Clearly Crafty Here Comes the Sun stamp set too.

Next up, I have this cutie pie using the , the Here Comes the Sun die collection, Rotating Cloud Stencil and the sentiment from Shine So Bright stamp set along with the Shine So Bright die collection (sold seperately).

Naturally, I had to add googley eyes here too. I mean, I’m pretty sure this kit just screams googley eyes! 🙂 I used three colors on the stencil to ultimately create the rainbow colors. I thought this turned out fun.

I used the following inks: Lollipop, Pineapple, and Cookie Monster. I also used the Petite Scallop Square Stacklets in two sizes. So fun! Oh and I used the previously released Rainbow Cloud Duo

Lastly, I just wanted to use the foil panels and I thought this one turned out fun–again… Googley. Eyes. I told you–ha!

I used the Shatter Glass Silver foil and then used the Shine On Layering Stencil set. The sentiment again comes from the Shine So Bright stamp set, which I white heat embossed. The smiley comes from the Clearly Crafty Here Comes the Sun set. Gah So cute!!

Again, I added some stitching and a those little pink cheeks before cutting the panel with the Stitched Rectangle Stacklets and layering it on the Petite Scallop Rectangle Stacklets.

Oh and the  Cloud Stacklets die collection is available–I never got it and I am excited to get it now!

Needless to say, I am a HUGE fan of this kit! To be fair, I haven’t met a kit I didn’t like yet 😊. Just a heads up, there are super cutie little envelope seals available for this one too. I do not need any more envelope seals but you betcha I’m ordering a couple packs. 😂

PSA: TE kits tend to sell out and sometimes quite rapidly. If you are interested in this kit, be sure you order it ASAP so you don’t miss out. Sometimes it’s only hours before they sell out. Just a little memo from what I have seen happen! 🙂

With All My Art Card Kit from Taylored Expressions

Today, there is a new kit –it’s so fun and it’s called: With All My Art Card Kit!  Taylored Expressions has this  new release today and there are a few extras not to miss, in addition to the kit. Be sure to read all the way to the bottom for all the details.

I made a handful of cards… a few super simple cards that can be easily made in bunches–which of course, I realize I should have done after the fact. 🙂

Let’s start with this fun little number… how cute are these little paint brushes?! I cut them each out of Toffee cardstock and then cut the little “metal” parts from a scrap of foiled cardstock I had on my desk. I always keep those scraps to use later. 🙂

I used Tropical Punch, Pineapple and Strawberry Milkshake inks along with the Stencil in the kit. I love how layering them gave this transparent look!

I used the Stitched Frame Stacklets 3 after I did the stenciling–love this fun little punch!

The dies to cut out the sentiments are sold separately from the kit, so if you like added option, but sure to grab those too.

Next up, I have this sweet little number in all the pinks! For this one, I wanted to give it that super clean paint look… is there such a thing? Ha! I was thinking of how painters and drop clothes and everything is always WHITE in painting. 🙂

I created this Sugar Cube panel using the Diagonal Stitched Square Stacklets to frame my design. I used Lollipop, Strawberry Milkshake and Cupcake. It’s fun because the brushes are one die and there are separate dies to also just cut the bristles and another to cut the paint for the end. I love this feature! This card uses the larger paintbrush and my first card uses the smaller paint brush.

I used the sentiment, Hey Crafty Friend from the sentiment set included.

Lastly, I created these three cards quite simply and quickly using the following inks: Lollipop, Candy Corn, Lemon, Granny Smith and Cookie Monster. Of course, I had to add googley eyes to one. 😉

For each of these, I also used Petite Scallop Rectangle Stacklets, Stitched Rectangle Stacklets and Little Bits – Hearts. They stacklets layer perfectly using the largest die in each set.

Here’s the scoop from Taylored Expressions:

The With All My ‘Art’ Cardmaking Kit retails for $60, is packaged in a zippered pouch with a custom sticker, and includes:
  • With All My Art stamp set
  • Bold Brushes Layering Stencil set
  • Splash of Color stamp set
  • Paint the Town die collection
  • The Insiders – With All My Art panels
Most kit items are not available to purchase individually.
Additional products available to purchase outside of the kit: With All my Art die collection, With All My Art Envelope Seals (set of 10), and The Insiders – With All My Art panels

In the Abstract 2 Card Kit from Taylored Expressions

Today, there is a new kit in town and it’s called: In the Abstract Kit 2!  Taylored Expressions has this  new release today and there are a few extras not to miss, in addition to the kit. Be sure to read all the way to the bottom for all the details.

Let’s get to it, shall we? It’s a fun one, with a boatload of possibilities.

I thought I’d mix it up and also revisit a previous color combo–pretty sure I used this one before, but it seemed fitting for this kit. Rose Water, Sweet Potato, Dijon and Poblano Pepper. For the accent greens, I used…. wait for it… OLIVE! Rare. But delightful!

First, I foiled the Foil It – Abstract panels (that are sold separately from the kit). I used Plum Foil on the one above and Champagne Foil on the one below.

I stamped the Simple Silhouettes stamp set in Olive on each of the panels.

I cut all the panels out with the Stitched Rectangle Stacklets before adding some stitching. I used Dijon & Poblano Pepper card bases for these.

This is one of those kits that you could easily spend a day creating with. There are so many possibilities. I look forward to having some more time ahead to create more cards. 🙂

Here’s the scoop from Taylored Expressions:

The In the Abstract 2 Cardmaking Kit retails for $65, is packaged in a zippered pouch with a custom sticker, and includes:
  • Create-in-Quads Abstract Layering Stencil set
  • Simple Silhouettes stamp set
  • Boho Bowls die collection
  • The Insiders – Abstract panels
Most kit items are not available to purchase individually.
Additional products available to purchase outside of the kit: Foil It – Abstract panels, Abstract Envelope Seals (package of 10), Clearly Crafty More Signature Sentiments stamp set, More Signature Sentiments die collection, and The Insiders – Abstract panels.

By Us As Us

Hola! I thought I’d pop in with a quick post sharing a cutie lil’ Taylored Expressions card!

I just get such a kick out of so many TE sentiments and I want to use THEM ALL at once! Ha!! 🙂

Too funny right? I know I have some friends like this, and we can carry on and laugh hysterically to ourselves about nonsense. ❤

Sarcasti-chick is a hoot! And I super love these little Punny Notes Valentine critters! I stamped these with Oreo ink and colored them in with Copic Markers, and die cut them out. After I stenciled the die cut card panel, I added some stitching, popped the little critters on the card and added their frames. In the final second, I threw a little tiny felt heart on there at the bottom to button it all up. Too cute! 🙂

You can find all my supplies and links to the Taylored Expressions Shop below:

Also, be sure to check out the TE Blog! Have a great night! 🙂
