Wish Big

Hooray for Friday!

Today I’m sharing a card I made with the new Magical Sampler stamp set from Paper Smooches! When I finished this card, I did a little happy squeak! I just think it turned out so fun! πŸ™‚

These little lights are from the new Wavy Wishes set and coordinating icon dies HERE. I colored them with Copic Markers, added Glossy Accents, and adhered with silver thread and foam adhesive.

One of my favorite images for the holidays are these types of Christmas lights. But aren’t they fun to repurpose for the rest of the year? ❀

This awesome frame is the Rose Frame die. I use it ALL THE TIME! πŸ™‚ I finished this card off with some simple stitching. πŸ™‚ A lovely little birthday card!

Have a great weekend!

Happy Thanks

Happy Tuesday, crafty peeps! Today I am popping in with a Teacher card! I can never make enough of these! This one is happy and FUN! It could easily be used for anyone though, and you can use the other Paper Smooches Fruit People to make a set! Hmmmm… thinking ahead there! πŸ™‚

I also used Paper Smooches’ Thanks So Much die and the Cross Stitch Die! I’ll have some actual cross stitch projects all together to share someday. πŸ™‚

Eeeeeeeep! So stinkin cute! I just die cut and dry embossed these elements, glued them down and added some stitching! Super easy. You could add some more detail by shading the fruit elements, but I kept it simple. πŸ™‚

You can check out all of the NEWΒ Paper SmoochesΒ AUGUST 2017 release HERE.

Have a great week! Thanks for stopping by!

Fun Wavy Patterns!

Happy Friday! Today I’m sharing a couple fun cards I made with the freshly released Paper Smooches Wavy Patterns die and the versatile coordinating Wavy Wishes stamp set. These stamps fit right into the pattern the die creates, and you can mix up the sentiments. ❀️! I have yet to crack the surface with possibilities!
Love the movement! And these cutie birds that I colored  with Copics.

This next card, I added an ombrΓ© happy whale from the Huge Hugs set. (I also used the coordinating dies for him.)
I really ❀️ the sentiment Happy Thoughts and am already planning to use it often.

I made these cards weeks apart, and yet I used Distress Oxide Inks to blend on both backgrounds. Funny! The first one is Cracked Pistachio and the blue is Faded Jeans. They are fun to use! I’m pretty excited about the new, bright colors out, but am trying to wait on acquiring them. TRYING. Haaaa! πŸ™‚

I finished both cards off with a little stitching and a couple of bits. πŸ™‚

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you check out the new release from Paper Smooches!

Wishing you a happy day!

Happy Friday! If you are hopping along for the August Paper Smooches Pep Rally, please find my post for that HERE! πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

Today, I’m sharing a card I created using Paper Smooches Religious Words 2 Dies. I paired it with the Silhouette Flower DiesΒ  and the Rose Frame Die. These flowers are sooooo up my alley! Silhouette flowers can be used in MANY ways and make things pretty so simply. Love that! πŸ™‚

Yup, the Rose Frame Die is used often around here! ❀

When I was making this, I kept taking away flowers and adding flowers and taking them away. In the end, I like how this moderately heavy mix worked together. πŸ™‚ I die cut the word “hope” from white a few times, and then once from navy to pop it on top.

Just a quick reminder: If you haven’t checked out the Paper Smooches August Pep Rally, be sure to start at the beginning HERE. You can comment along the way for chances to win! πŸ™‚ Who doesn’t love a Paper Smooches Gift Card?!

Here’s my fun projects to share today!
Eeeeeep! How awesome are these new Flower Frames Dies?! I made these cards before I trimmed the dies apart, and look at the bonus coolness you get!
I have since trimmed them apart, and therefore now have three fun little frames and this adorable heart! I love this heart. (I’m kinda picky about hearts and I definitely ❀ this ❀ !) ha!
The fantastic part about these cards is, when you die cut the Flower Frame Dies like this from several different cardstocks, you can piece them together for quick cards! I’ll probably have about four-five cards from this one die cut lot. Love that! πŸ™‚
These sentiments are both from Paper Smooches’ Kindness Sampler. Fantastic set full of πŸ™‚ sentiments!
Next hop stop:  Karin Akesdotter! πŸ™‚ Karin always has amazing things to see!

Thanks for stopping by today! Be sure to hop on and leave comments for chances at the prizes! And save your pennies for Monday, when you can purchase all the fun new products!

A lil’ cuteness…

Happy Wednesday! I thought I’d pop in super quick and share a few recent Paper Smooches cards I made. I am ALWAYS excited about new products, but I love using my older products as well. After all, I have them for a reason!Β  πŸ™‚

First up, are these cuties I recently made with my son. Normally, when we make cards together, I personally never get anything made. That’s because I’m always helping him set up the MISTI or get this supply or that, etc. But this session, I did get these cuties made! I was amazed. Nothing fancy, but worth sharing because I loved making them with him. ❀

These cards are all made with Paper Smooches Cuteasaurus set! ❀ I colored the first card with Prismacolor colored pencils, and the one below with Copic Markers. That was super tricky, because I stamped these on basic white cardstock. Well, I am blender and bleeder when it comes to Copics, so I was surprised that these did not turn out completely awful! πŸ™‚ (I normally use Copic blending card.)

For this card, because the Dinosaur needs to face the other way too, you need the mirror image. For this, you can use Paper Smooches’ Mirror Blocks. I was a little distracted, so I didn’t get a super clean image when I stamped it in reverse. No biggie though, because you can go back and fill in with a fine tip black pen! Yay! πŸ™‚

This sentiment is from the July set Body Language. πŸ™‚ Perfect with the googley eyes, of course. πŸ™‚

Here is a photo that includes the ones my son made. He does all his own stamping, and that includes trying to get ALL THE STAMPS on one card! Haaaaa! ❀ It is seriously the cutest thing to this 100% biased Mom. He then uses my Copics & Zig Clean Color markers. Because why would he use any of his dozen coloring implements? LOL!!

I love that he made the dinosaurs and drew in his own heart! πŸ™‚ He also thought the little Kidneys were potatoes, so he ran with that. I was cracking up!! They can definitely be potatoes, right? ❀

He spent a lot of time coloring these and then gave it to Dad. (I hope i get the Dinos….shhhh! πŸ™‚ ) I adore how they turned out.

For this next card, I used Paper Smooches Falling for You set, and coordinating Falling for You Dies. I also used the Cardbooking dies for the speech bubble fun!

I made this background a long while back, and it was sitting on my desk. But I’m fairly certain I used Orange and Yellow Distress Inks and blended those on. πŸ™‚ I colored the bat with Copics.

Thanks for stopping in! I’ll see you tomorrow for Paper Smooches Pep Rally week–sneak peeks for the new release!! eeeeeeee! πŸ™‚
