It’s Back to School time and Back to Sports! This new release is called–School Days & Sports Plays! I always enjoy looking at all the school supplies in stores and thinking about all the new possibilities ahead. There is nothing like the smell of a new box of crayons–even though I don’t get to purchase those anymore. Be sure to check out all the new fun at Taylored Expressions today!!

First up, the Treat Your Shelf, which was formally an exclusive kit, now has products available and new additions! For my card below, I used the new Treat Your Shelf – Back to School Stencil, Die & Clear, along with the Treat Your Shelf- Layering Stencil (formally exclusive with the kit).

This new background called Classroom Canvas and I had to make that into a chalkboard–I’m always a sucker for chalkboard. 🙂 How fun are the stamps that you can stamp on the book stacks? Eeep! Plus, I just love the icons of the pencil cup, plant, globe and apple. Too cute! (I did resist putting googley eyes on the apple though–haha! 😁)

Teachers and all the school staff definitely need a little boost to get the year going–I can’t wait to make these for many! 🙂

Sports! Lots of sports are getting going now too! There are lots of new additions to the Little Bits collection. (and I’d guess more will come along the way someday!)

This card is made with the new Little Bits-Tennis and the new Nothing But Net background stamp. Of course, I had to add googley eyes to the tennis ball–LOL! But I did take a photo without them too, so you can have a more streamlined card or a funny one. 🙂

I used the Tall Tales Alpha Dies for this card–They are SUPER FUN! I really enjoy those tall slim letters–so easy to use and incorporate on cards. Way easy to line up too–which is always the trickiest part to get just right.

Today, Taylored Expressions is releasing the first card kit of 2025 today– Treat Your Shelf! This is a fun one and if you have a love of reading, a love of books or know someone who does–don’t miss this kit from Taylored Expressions! Eeeeep!

How cute are these well read (😉😉) products you can use to design cards and bookmarks?

I love the stack of books! I decided the cat needed to be on top and the Notepaper Background was perfection for the whole thing!

I used the Foil It – Treat Your Shelf for my projects because I liked the extra detail and shine it gave them. 🙂

Sleep is good, books are better! -Me, last night. *Yawn*!

For my second card, I added the little penguin from the Fluffy Friends – Holiday set, as I decided he was a reader! 🙂

I also wanted to use the Bookmark Builder Die Set that you can purchase outside the kit. I sent my bookmark to TE in Iowa, but I think this would make a great gift–especially if you give someone a book! Eeeep! I need to make another and gift it next month for sure. 🙂

You are Literally the Best! So punny! I kept this very flat since it is a bookmark. It’s hard to not add foam adhesive or any bits that might chunk it up. 😄
