Hex Effects Kit from Taylored Expressions!

It’s the last Tuesday of the month from Taylored Expressions today! That means there is a new kit and it is another stellar one you don’t want to miss– Hex Effects! Head over to the TE Website and check it all out!

I love all the geometric kits Taylored Expressions  has whipped up (yay for Heather Nichols!) and this one is no exception! Such fun to create geometric patterns and random patterns –and all the things!

For this card, I wanted to use the Hexagon Piercing Plate Die and the hexagon die included in the kit. I thought it turned out so fun!

Next up, I thought it would be punny to make this card: Hex Yeah! 🤭

Adding the Tall Tales Alpha worked perfectly on a Mini Slim design–Hex Yeah!!

I thought this color combo was a fun one to use–I used theHexagon Layering Stencil that is sold in addtion to the kit–so be sure and grab this too, if you want the stencil look!.

Lastly, I used some creative masking to create this little number below–I had to go RAINBOW! 🙂

Such fun–the sentiment is from the Simple Strips Friendship 2. The background is created with the kit’s Hex Effects Cutting Plate Die and theHexagon Layering Stencil.   (sold outside the kit)

A fun kit for sure–I could spent days just piecing patterns. You can also simplify that using the TE Maps- Hex Effects in the kit! Good thing to do while watching a TV show. 😊

Here’s the scoop from TE:

Plum Tart from Taylored Expressions!

It’s another fun release from Taylored Expressions today! The newest color has finally joined the family full throttle- Plum Tart! You’ll also want to head over to the TE Website today because there are a lot of fun things to help you organize all your TE colors! And organizing is half the fun right? 😁

For this card, I used the Stitched Easy Strips in Plum Tart, Pear, Cake Pop and Royal Icing. It’s a fun and different color combo for sure–sort of something I’d think of for a retro candy shop look–must be the stripes 🙂

I love all the texture the Stitched Easy Strips give. I used the newer Mega Messages- Friend die along with a Simple Strip to complete this card.

Turned out so festive and sweet–like candy. 🙂
Be sure to check everything out in this release. There is a fun new binder in the mix too! Eeep! I do love organizing!

Such a sweet little greeting to send! 🙂

Next up is the Mini Mail fitted with Teeny Cards using the 2023 gifts–Little Bits – Heart Coin, etc. (see supply list below)

There are too fun to make and I love tucking them in little gifts. They are fun to make ahead and have ready for those occations.

I think this is a fun gift to give someone!

Speaking of gifts, how about gifting some candy or something else small and delightful! 🙂 This is the Treat Tub along with the fun little sentiments in Snack Attack.

These treat tubs are perfect and I decided to oomph them up with some valentine’s hearts. 🙂

And last, but not least, Winter Wonder! these work perfectly for TE calendars, but don’t they make cute cards too! I couldn’t resist all the foils. I even used Jelly Donut!

Adding the TE Fun Foil – Iridescent Kaleidoscope over the top of everything adds such a fun flair in person!

All the arches!

Timeless Blooms from Taylored Expressions

I believe this is a day many have waited for over at Taylored Expressions –Timeless Blooms is now available widely!

These were fun to make and I look forward to sharing them today. Be sure to check out everything over at the TE Website.

The Timeless Blooms Create-in-Quad is lovely to create with for SO many occasions. The colorway I used last year with this set was one of my favorites, but goodness, these turned out beautiful too! And I was able to use the new Quilted Cutting Plate Die–which is a super duper fast fave for sure!

This is a combo of colors–using a VERY light hand. Which is challenging for me to do 🤭. I like to get in there and BLEND! ha! 🙂

The colors I used for these flowers are: Royal Icing, Cake Pop, Bleu Cheese, Pear, Green Tea and Brussels Sprout.

If you want to duplicate these colors, I’d say just play around and see what you come up with–it could be even better! The key is to use a light hand for sure.

They are lovely flowers!

The sentiments are from the previously released Sundry Sentiments – Fall Stamp Set (and coordinating die, sold separately).

So sweet!  And I used a technique to highlight the individual blooms on this card below. 🤍

Eeeeep these are fun! This color combo I went with turned out lovely. 😍

Here are the cards from the previous release of Timeless Blooms. You can read that previous post HERE.

Again, you can read that post HERE. (These blooms were previously in a card kit 😉)
