Taylored Expressions: Throwback Thursday! Scattered Blooms

It’s the second Throwback Thursday over at Taylored Expressions today! Be sure to head over and check out all the fun there!

Here are my cards for this release, using the previously released limited edition Scattered Blooms kit and all the new add ons!

Eeeep I love these flowers! The Scattered Blooms layering stencils make it so easy and the Scattered Blooms cutting plate used with an TE Embossing Pads creates a whole different look. I super love all the etched lines it adds!

And of course the new Mega Hey There is a super fast fave!!

I can’t wait to use all these new Mega dies alllllllllllll the time! 🙂

This color combo turned out delightfully too. So Springtastic!

Here is another card using the Mega Oh Happy Day with a the Masking Rectangle Stencil. I die cut the flowers out of Sugar Cube and then added color to them individually with the Bitty and Detailed Blender Brushes.

I did a simple embossing on Sugar Cube with the Scattered Blooms die for the background.

I am ready for all the things to bloom and turn green! Not so much for the hot temps, but so it goes, right? 😉

Throwback Thursday over at Taylored Expressions Today!

It’s Throwback Thursday today, over at Taylored Expressions! That means more Second Chance releases, with several extras now available to also add on! Eeeps! And the Petal Pop is one of my faves!

Let’s get poppin’!

First up, I have this fun little number using the fabulous new Shaker Bubbles! Goodness I do enjoy these–they remind me of the Trouble bubble! We played a lot of Trouble in our house and that plunk pop will always be in my head 😂. (But don’t push this bubble! 😉)

I paired the Shaker Bubble with the previously released Gumball Machine and it fits perfectly! I used the one pierced ring from the Petal Pop set to make the Shaker Bubble a snugger fit bc I liked that look, but I think you ca do without it too?

My son and I went shopping for candy before I made this card (phew!) and Good & Plenty was the only thing available that day. (Don’t get me wrong, I love Good & Plenty!). But I was hoping to get a box of Rainbow Nerds or Mini M & M’s. In the end, these worked out great because they aren’t sticky, probably take a lot of heat to melt and drove the color scheme. 🙂

The Mini Strips are from the I’d Chews You set. The background is stamped and clear heat embossed using the striped part of the Americana set. I finished it off with some Little Bits-Hearts (out of Black Glossy Cardstock) and some Black Drip Drops.

Here’s a look at the inside!

The true celebration is that I remembered to take photos of the inside! I used the new Pull To Open die that created a perforated line for your recipient to pull open and grab whatever is in the bubble. I put mine on the inside and added some fun with The Insiders-Thank You stamp set and the I’m Interactive set.

This created a fun and unexpected card! And while you would need to pack it a little gingerly and add some extra postage, it does mail! Mine is now at TE and I believe it arrived safely! 🙂

Next up, this fun Shaker Bubble with the Petal Pop set–a fave! Love this bold and whimsy flower!

Not to mention those cute bees! I gave the Flower a little Pop with MINI SLIM STENCIL – ON THE DOT.

And the sentiment is from the Pop Sentiments–Those are also a fave! I love the sweet font!

Edited to ADD THIS CARD! I can’t believe I forgot it today–because I’m SUPER excited that the Fanfare Cutting Plate is out for all now and this Fanfare Layering Stencil set is 🤩🤩🤩! If you use it yourself, you will understand my glee too! 🙂

And the Mythical Grumpling Unicorn with the Snarky Simple Strip. This is my kind of card. 😂🤣

In case you missed the previous cards I created when the the Petal Pop was the monthly exclusive gift, here those are too–that bee really makes it, doesn’t s/he?! 😊

Such Fun! I want to use these all the time to send some happy mail! 🙂

Lastly, because I don’t think I have shared the July Exclusive Gift here yet, these are those cards using the Summer Nights Layering Stencil. Makes me what to get a jar and collect bugs to glow for a few minutes, doesn’t it?

TE–Throwback Thursday!

Today, over at Taylored Expressions, we on our second Throwback Thursday for this month! That means more Second Chance releases, with several extras now available! SO Enjoyable! 🙂

First up, we have Label Stacklets 13! One of my favorite bins I reach for on the reg, is my TE Stacklets! So I always love when we get a new addition to the the Stacklet Team! 😁

I thought it would be fun to use the smallest Label Stacklets 13 and create a bold and graphic card! Grab your scraps, hit play on a movie and bam–you’ll have a pile of puzzle pieces to combine and put together to create your own unique combos!
I cut out the whole panel afterward with the Additional A2 Layer Stacklets. CLUTCH for creating this kind of design–so so easy to trip it up that way vs. how I used to do with my trimmer. (which you can still do, of course! I just inevitably would catch the blade and mess the whole thing up–ugh! 😑 ) I also wanted to round it out with the Wavy Stitch Stacklets. I sort of have to resist using that set on most every card. 😋

Next up, there is a new All Planned Out 2 set that has a plethora of dies to grab and mix & match to create different layouts and designs on your card. I’m just going to say it now: I will be using the biggest die in the set possibly too often? Is that possible? I 😍 IT! 🙂

I used the Conversation Candy Stamp & Stencil Combo on this card, just without the stamp–to send a little love!

The Hello is in the All Planned Out 2 and the Mini Strip Sentiment is from the Mini Strips Hey Lady set! The frame is from the A2 Thin Frame Cutting Plate. I was going to use one of my favorite flower layering stencils for this, but thought–let’s send some love!

Lastly, one more quick share using the new Label Stacklets 14. I wanted to create a terrarium for the Framed Flowers (now with dies!) could set inside…. and then, why not make that a shaker? Love it!

I probably could have used just one flower for this card, but I wanted to sneak them all in there 🙂

Welcome back, Throwback Thursday! from TE!

Today, over at Taylored Expressions, we are welcoming back Throwback Thursday! The big bonus of these are that they are also Second Chance releases, with PERKS, as I like to say. Here are a couple cards to get you thinking…

First up, I love the To the Point sentiment set and now there are dies! This sentiment pairs swimmingly with the Dino mite T-Rex! 😂

I thought it would be fun to take the Star Stacklets out of a spin–so I die cut the blended ink panel (Mango, Spearmint & Poblano) and then popped that on the card base that I had also die cut the starts through. As I always do, I forgot to take a photo of the inside of this card, but it looks festive in there with the stars and the one window that goes all the way through. 🙂 Just something a bit different–jazzin’ it up😎! I thought this would be fun for kids or anyone. I’d sure love to receive it! 🙂

And I made this cutie card with the Hedgehugs! The little notes are from the Love Notes set. I love the Love Notes. 🙂

The colors I used for this card are: Toffee, Green Tea/Brussels Sprout, Strawberry/Bubblegum, Oatmilk and Cinnamon. The sentiment is from the To The Point + Coordinating Dies.

I also used the Wonky Grid Background and the Wavy Stitch Stacklets. Too cute! 🙂
