Autism Awareness Blog Hop

Hello, and welcome to my stop on this awesome route to shining a light on Autism Awareness. To start at the beginning and not miss a thing, you’ll want to head HERE to Veronica Zalis’s Blog. You can find out all the details about the hop, making a card, the sponsors, prizes, etc. there. Veronica has put together another awesome hop this year and I’m proud to be a part of it. Autism Awareness is especially close to Veronica’s heart and I’m glad I can do a small part in spreading the word and โค .

First, I’d like to share a link to Autism Speaks. This hop is a great opportunity for me to read/link to the latest on research and information there, and I thought I’d share it with you too. โค

Today, I’m sharing two cards. This first one uses Taylored Expressions Autism Awareness set called Look With Your Heart and 25% of the proceeds are being donated to the Autism Society. I’m happy TE reached out to let us obtain this set early and use it today. ๐Ÿ™‚ Taylored Expressions is also a sponsor on our hop today and offering a lovely prize. Be sure to read about that! ๐Ÿ™‚

I love Taylored Expressions felt! โค You should see the tiny little pieces I cut these flowers from. I use every last little smidgen of this stuff up. ๐Ÿ™‚ This flower die is Taylored Expressions lil bits die

Goodness, I just adore this sweet sentiment. โค

Here’s an image of the entire set: Look With Your Heart.

Next up, is this sweet card I made using a new favorite die from Technique Tuesday called Pieces of My Heart . Technique Tuesday is also sponsoring today’s hop and offering a great prize too. Be sure to check that out on the TT Blog HERE. ๐Ÿ™‚

For this, I blended on some Distress Oxide ink and scored the base panel to give it some texture. I then added the Heart and lovely awesome sentiment from the stamp set Being Unique.

I just โค this sentiment so. Gah! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Thank you to Veronica for all her hard work to get the hop organized and to the amazing sponsors for taking part! Again, be sure to head to Veronica’s Blog HERE to start from the beginning! ๐Ÿ™‚

Technique Tuesday: April Release Countdown

Happy Friday! Today we are showing Day One of the Technique Tuesday countdown to the new release! It’s another lovely release with a few laughs in the mix, of course. ๐Ÿ™‚

My card uses a super sweet new sentiment and some fantastically bold flowers!

I colored these flowers with Copic Markers. Yes, that is indeed purple. ๐Ÿ˜‰ Voluntary use of purple. I should maybe check my temperature again? ๐Ÿ™‚ Ha! For the background, I blended on some Distress Oxide Inks and added some splats. This one is already en route to my Grandmother. โค

These two new sets are called: Grandma Blessings Clear Stamps and Flowers For Her Clear Stamps. (Links available once the release goes live on April 1st.)

Be sure to check out the NEW products from Technique Tuesday HERE! (Again, these new products above will be available via those links on April 1st!)

Technique Tuesday March Sneaks!

Hello and welcome to my first sneak of Technique Tuesday’s March Release! Can I call it a sneak if I share the whole card? Well, I am. ๐Ÿ™‚ Haaaa!

This new TT release has a little bit for everyone! Lots of love sharing today, but there is more, I promise! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Oh goodness! How fun is this heart puzzle? This die is called: Pieces of My Heart and the stamp set I used is called Love You to Pieces. (These links will work once the products go live on March 1st, Release Day!)

I blended some Distress Oxide ink on cardstock and then die cut the heart three times over. I think they turned out great and I already gave this one to my Grandmother. ๐Ÿ™‚

Next up, I used the new Love Puzzle die! And again, the new stamp set, Love You to Pieces.

I kept this one pretty simple. I used score lines on the base panel to add a little texture. I think it would be fun to just use the letters on their own too! I’ll have to try that next. ๐Ÿ™‚

Be sure to check out the NEW products from Technique Tuesday HERE! These new products above will be available via those links on Thursday, March 1st! ๐Ÿ™‚

And follow the new release over at the Technique Tuesday Blog HERE! ๐Ÿ™‚ Good stuff!

I’ll catch you back here again tomorrow for another preview! Take care- Jill ๐Ÿ™‚
