Hooray for the weekend! I was trying to do nothing last night, but apparently I cannot do that because I ended up making this card. 🙂
Let me just say: I used more purple on this card than I’ve used all year? Haaaaaa!
For this, I used Essentials by Ellen stamps set, Wonky Backdrops and Avery Elle’s Punny Pantry stamps. I completely enjoy this Avery Elle set because PUNS! 🙂 I was fortunate (and super excited!) to be gifted this at a crafty retreat. Thank you, Avery Elle! ❤
I colored this radish with Copic markers and fussy cut it out. I stamped the Wonky Backdrop with a Hero Arts ombre ink pad. Love how that turned out! 🙂 I stitched on some patterned paper and cardstock strips before I added the lot with foam adhesive. Such a fun card!
I’m adding this for the Mix-It Up Challenge with Avery Elle over at Ellen Hutson right now. Plenty of time to join in, so hoping to make another one day. Wishful thinking anyway ;)! Check it out and join in! 🙂
Thanks for stopping by!
Happy Friday! Today I’m sharing a couple fun cards I made with the freshly released Paper Smooches Wavy Patterns die and the versatile coordinating Wavy Wishes stamp set. These stamps fit right into the pattern the die creates, and you can mix up the sentiments. ❤️! I have yet to crack the surface with possibilities!
Love the movement! And these cutie birds that I colored with Copics.
This next card, I added an ombré happy whale from the Huge Hugs set. (I also used the coordinating dies for him.)
I really ❤️ the sentiment Happy Thoughts and am already planning to use it often.
I made these cards weeks apart, and yet I used Distress Oxide Inks to blend on both backgrounds. Funny! The first one is Cracked Pistachio and the blue is Faded Jeans. They are fun to use! I’m pretty excited about the new, bright colors out, but am trying to wait on acquiring them. TRYING. Haaaa! 🙂
I finished both cards off with a little stitching and a couple of bits. 🙂
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you check out the new release from Paper Smooches!
Wishing you a happy day!
Hooray for summer! (But it’s going TOO fast!)
Today I am sharing a card I made for my son. I’m trying to *slowly but surely* build up my lunchbox/backpack stash for the school year. I am also a fan of the post-it and a sharpie, so don’t think I send these daily or anything. Haaaaa! 🙂
My red layering detail kept getting absorbed into the Lawn Fawn Lobster ( ❤ ), so you can barely make out those little lines there. Googley eyes to polish them off, of course! 🙂
For this card, I used Lawn Fawn’s Rooting for You stamp set. 😉 Always such fun to use these cutie veggies and their puntastic sentiments! This patterned paper is from Lawn Fawn, as well as the Lobster and Carrot color inks.
Here are a couple other cards I made with these little guys…. HERE and HERE. ❤ These crack me up!
I am playing along with the current Lawn Fawnatics Challenge color combo inspiration board! It’s pretty summertastic, if you ask me! 🙂 There is still time to enter too!! Join in!
Hooray for summer!
Have a great rest of the week!! 😉

Happy Tuesday, all! I’m super excited to be over at the Right at Home blog today, celebrating their NEW release available now! Everything new can be found HERE! 😉 It’s full of flowery goodness! 🙂
I used the lovely new Anemone
set for both these cards.
Lovely flowers, right? Eeeep! 🙂 (I used Kuretake Gansai Tambi Pearl paints)
Next up, is a card I made using the layering parts of the Anemone set. I made several more of these cards, and I will be sure to share them in a couple of weeks! Yay!
These look fantastic with the dye and pigment ink mix on kraft!
For both of these cards, I used sentiments from RAH’s previously released set, Make Something Beautiful. You can check out another card I made a little while back HERE.
I hope you have a chance to check out all of the new Right at Home release! Thank you so very much to Nicole, for having me along to celebrate the fun! I really enjoyed working with this new set!
Have a great Tuesday!
Happy August! Great news, the NEW Paper Smooches AUGUST 2017 release is available HERE!
I thought I’d pop in a share a card that made me laugh! I’m still waiting on my miracle to kick in this morning! 😉 Haaaaa! No seriously, I am! 😉 🙂
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you check out the new release from Paper Smooches! It includes a UNICORN!! Hello! 🙂
Off to make more coffee…
Popping in today with this card I made for the Essentials by Ellen Pin-Sights Challenge fun! When I saw this color combo inspiration, I was sold! I do love color!
The pinned inspiration photo for this month makes me so happy! ❤ ! I die cut the rays from all the different colored cardstocks, trimmed apart, and inlaid them on this panel. I clear embossed the sentiment and stitched it on. My sewing machine had some issues recently, and I ended up using the wrong stitch (wanted a straight stitch). But once that needle went through, I was committed! Not tragic, but a bit busier than I’d have liked. 😉
For this card, I used the Essentials by Ellen Designer Dies, Silver Linings by Julie Ebersole. I also used the recently released, Crafty Ladies Say by Brandi Kincaid. Awesome!! 🙂
So glad I am squeaking this card in for the challenge! Whoooooohooo! Love these challenges at EH!
ETA 8-01-17: Last night, I sat down at my desk and all these bits were still there. Hence, I made four more cards! Love when you get a 5 for 1! 🙂
For these sentiments I used the same Crafty Ladies Say…and also: Warm Fuzzies, Mermaid’s Tail, and All Inside. Goodness, I ❤ the way these colorful rays look! 🙂 And I also was sure to check my stitch setting before starting this time. Double yay! 🙂
Thank you for stopping by today! Have a great week!
Happy Friday! If you are hopping along for the August Paper Smooches Pep Rally, please find my post for that HERE! 🙂 🙂
Today, I’m sharing a card I created using Paper Smooches Religious Words 2 Dies. I paired it with the Silhouette Flower Dies and the Rose Frame Die. These flowers are sooooo up my alley! Silhouette flowers can be used in MANY ways and make things pretty so simply. Love that! 🙂
Yup, the Rose Frame Die is used often around here! ❤
When I was making this, I kept taking away flowers and adding flowers and taking them away. In the end, I like how this moderately heavy mix worked together. 🙂 I die cut the word “hope” from white a few times, and then once from navy to pop it on top.
Just a quick reminder: If you haven’t checked out the Paper Smooches August Pep Rally, be sure to start at the beginning HERE. You can comment along the way for chances to win! 🙂 Who doesn’t love a Paper Smooches Gift Card?!
You can check out the Paper Smooches JULY 2017 release, and the August release will be available Soooooooon! 🙂
Thanks for stopping by today! Have a great weekend!
