Good Morning! If you are looking for my Technique Tuesday June Release Preview post, please head over **HERE**!
Today is my final post as a Guest Designer over at Freshly Made Sketches! You can check out their great challenge blog HERE. HUGE thanks to the FMS Team for having me along this past month and being so kind and generous!
And here is this week’s sketch #339:
And here is my card for today! I used a soon to be released die from Technique Tuesday, called Strawberries on the Border die. (<–This link will work on June 1st, when this die is available 🙂 )
These strawberries look good enough to eat! 🙂 I die cut everything from different colored cardstocks. Then after drawing diagonal lines with a fine black pen and stamping the sentiment, I adhered down the negative die cut and inlaid everything. I finished off the card with a little stitching and twine, and done! 🙂
The sentiment is from Technique Tuesday as well. It is from THIS fun set (Sassy Love Your Guts) HERE! 🙂
Thank you again to the FMS crew! I really enjoyed my time with you ladies and appreciate all your kindness! 🙂 I hope to be sketchy again with you someday!
Take care– Jill 🙂
Today we are showing Day One of the Technique Tuesday countdown to the new JUNE release! It’s SUMMERTASTIC!!
For this card, I used the soon to be released, Sweet Summertime Clear Stamps, and the coordinating dies HERE. (Link will work on June 1st when products are released.) How fun is this watermelon and sentiment together? I’m actually mailing this today! 🙂
For this card, i colored the watermelon slices with Copic Markers. For the card panel, I just masked off some stripes and worked my way across, blending on some colors. I love that watermelon panel alone–so summery!
Be sure to check out the NEW products from Technique Tuesday HERE! (Again, these new products above will be available via their links on June 1st!)
And follow the new release over at the Technique Tuesday Blog HERE! Once there, you can find all the Design Team’s work to link to. 🙂
**I’ll catch you back here again tomorrow for another preview!**
Thanks for stopping by!
I’m popping in to share a fun Technique Tuesday card with the manly May release!
I always love good puns, and this stamp set, What a Guy, fits the bill! I white heat embossed all my stamping and put this card together. 🙂
For this next card, I just did some tone on tone stamping to the panel before adding all the stitching. I put the whole thing on top of some cork for texture, but if I had to do it again, I’d use the cork a little more predominately, I think. 🙂
Another great man card, Love Beyond Measure. So fun!
(There are coordinating dies for this TT What A Guy stamp set too–you can find those HERE.)
Be sure to check out the NEW products from Technique Tuesday HERE! We’ll also be sharing some sneaks to the June release this coming week! Get ready!

Hooray for a Holiday weekend here in the US! I hope you have some fantastic plans for the long weekend! ❤
I’m popping in to share this Paper Smooches card today. I thought this would be fitting to send this weekend, with its patriotic color scheme! I sooooo enjoyed making this card. I completely enjoy inlaying all those pieces, and then making it all work, like a puzzle.
I die cut everything and then had to die cut the die cut for the Postage frame…. put it all together, added some stitching and scoring and finished! 🙂
For this card, I used some awesome Paper Smooches goodies: Postage Stamp, Love Word die, Triangle Dies.
Hop over and check out the Paper Smooches Blog
for lots of inspiration and the current challenge!! It’s always fun to join in that and there is a fabulous PRIZE! Big fun! 🙂
Happy weekend to all– never-ending gratitude to the men and women that served our country ❤ .
Happy Wednesday to you! Once again, I’m over contributing with the Freshly Made Sketches crew! this week on a brand new sketch! Be sure to check out their great challenge blog HERE for lots of inspiration!
And here is this week’s sketch:
And here’s my card–perfect for a teacher! 🙂
I die cut all the bits from different colored cardstocks and also from cork paper. Love that texture it gives to the pencil tip. 🙂 I added some reverse scoring to the panel and finished it all off with some stitching. ❤
This pencil is a super favorite of mine from PaperSmooches, appropriately called Pencil Dies. The sentiment is from a retired stamp set (Bosom Buddy), but I think this Many Thanks set can be used as substitute very smoothly, with lots of choices!
Crafty hugs to the FMS team, who has been so kind to me this month! Thank you, Ladies! 🙂
Thanks so much for stopping by!!
Take care– Jill 🙂
Happy Monday! Hope your week is going well, thus far! Just popping in with a fun little card to send and welcome a new little pup!
awwwww! Love this stamp from Avery Elle Happy Howl-idays, and the letters I arranged using Lawn Fawn’s Harold’s ABC’s. I watercolored this little Frenchie with Clean Color Zig Markers and added some Pretty Pink Posh confetti sequins.
I hope Chewie enjoyed his card. ❤
Well, that is all for now! See you back here later this week! 🙂
Take care– Jill 🙂
Good Morning and Happy Weekend!! Today, we are having a fun blog hop between the My Sweet Petunia and Technique Tuesday! Whooohoooo! A perfect pairing of two of my most used companies. 🙂 Buckle up, there are prizes!!
On with my card, yes?
For this card, I used Technique Tuesday’s Happy Happy Happy Stamp set and Man Day stamps for the Birthday sentiment stamp. I stamped and heat embossed them in white, easily spacing them straight with MISTI. After that, I used my Kuretake pearl palette of sparkly watercolors from Kuretake. (This set HERE is a larger solid color set.)
Anywho, I polished off this card with a few Pretty Pink Posh confetti sequins and and some stitching.
Now, let’s chat about the Most Incredible Stamping Tool Invented from My Sweet Petunia! I gave my standard MISTI a little tune up and I am really loving it! First, you should know that I use my MISTIs “backwards”. So, when I saw that you can replace your ruler strips with not only other colors, but that I could also have my numbers in the correct direction, I was all over it. You can check those options out HERE. (There are also turquoise replacement rulers.) Now I just need to retrofit my Mini MISTI!
Then I decided to add the Mouse Pad to my MISTI. I recommend this for quick clean up and ease. I’ll still use my grid papers (those are HERE), but this has made everything look cleaner overall. Highly enjoyable! 🙂
Ok, I mentioned prizes! Here’s the details: Two lucky commenters will be chosen from the hop to win one of two prizes: a $50 shopping spree at www.mysweetpetunia.com and a $50 shopping spree at www.techniquetuesday.com – You must leave your comments no later than Monday, May 28th, at 11:59 PM Central time and winners will be announced on Tuesday May 29th, on the Technique Tuesday and My Sweet Petunia blogs.
Next on the hop, you’re going to head over to Susan Wymer
‘s blog and see what she has in store! It is surely worth the hop over! 🙂
Here’s the list of all the fun stops today! Be sure to hop along and leave comments for your chances at the prizes above! 🙂
Good luck and have a wonderful weekend! Hope it includes some stamping! 🙂
