I’m sharing a couple more cards here today to celebrate!!

For this card, I used the Spiro Doily dies, Best Die, and Simply the Best Stamp Set. I used pastel colors, which I do not do often. But in person, they look so soft and sweet. Tricky to photo! πŸ™‚

I loved inlaying this die! Think of all the color combos you could whip up! πŸ˜‰ And I ❀ the Best Die. Perfect font, size and so many uses!

I thought I’d try to “man-up” this collection up a bit. Hence, I made this card:

This one uses the super sparkly Wanderlust Embossing Powder formulated just for this collection! SUPER sparkle!

The main images on this card are from the Medallion Mix-Up Stamp Set. The sentiment is again from the Simply the Best Stamp Set. I also used all Catherine Pooler boldΒ  inks. Those can be found HERE.

I used the inks: Grass Skirt, Lime Rickety, and Melon Ice! Not to mention my a fore mentioned favorite, Tutti Frutti!

I hope you have enjoyed seeing the fun made from this collection’s contents! I sure enjoyed making them! You could craft for days! πŸ™‚

Thank you again for stopping by today! Many thanks again to Catherine Pooler for having me along, and for the team’s help with all the details! It’s been a pleasure hanging with everyone this last month. Be sure to check out Catherine’s Blog HERE for more fun!

I look forward to seeing what everyone creates with this fantastic collection!!

Happy creating!

Cornucopia of projects! :)

Happy Wednesday!
I’m usually pretty good about posting all my projects on my blog, but this last month + has been a little crazier than normal. I always try to figure out if it’s just the new normal, or if it is just busier that usual. I’m hoping for the later this time! πŸ™‚
Anywho–here is a few cards/projects I have made recently that haven’t made it here yet. πŸ™‚
First up, this fun card using Paper Smooches Huge Hugs and dies AND Huge Hugs 2! This was for my son’s last day of school this year. πŸ™‚
I actually used my Scor-Tape as a stencil. It was sitting on my desk, so it worked out well! I just brushed some Distress Ink in there and then gave it a little water spritz for some texture. Fun!
The whale and fish are covered in Glossy Accents! Love that little addition. I think I may go through a whole bottle this month. LOL. πŸ™‚
Here are projects I created for teachers and staff at school this Spring:
Love how fun these are! I used Paper Smooches FruitasticΒ and the Thanks So Much Die. For the tags below, I used the Paper Smooches Pencil Dies and the Lovely Thoughts stamp set for the sentiment.
Here is a quick pick of some tags I stamped up for some crafty friends. Love this little bunny from Paper Smooches Pineapple Crush! (I didn’t think to take a more finessed photo, but I thought they are too cute not to share!)
These next cards use a combination of Paper Smooches Pineapple Crush stamps and Ellen Hutson’s Wonky Backdrops. Such fun!! πŸ™‚ (I also used the retired a Paper Smooches set for the sentiment, but this one is an excellent sub in, Many Thanks.)
This next card uses Winnie and Walter’sΒ  Framed and Our Town. Love how this turned out. I made it at a crafty retreat and I used someone’s stencil for the background too. But I didn’t write down the name of it. πŸ™‚
Next up, is this card I made using WPlus9 Feathers and Florals and Avery Elle’s Many Thanks. This floral set was sent to me from some crafty friends, and I’m so glad to have inked it up!! πŸ™‚ I’ve been using a lot of flowers lately!? Must be the season πŸ˜‰ .
And last but not least, here are some teacher cards I made last fall. These great teacher stamps are all from Lil’ Inker Designs. LOVE these so very much! πŸ™‚ Again, I borrowed these great products from some crafty friends. I only wished they all lived closer to create together more often. ❀
Alrighty! I hope you have enjoyed this mixed bag of projects I had yet to blog! I like to keep my blog up to date. It’s a great way to track my projects if I ever want to look back . πŸ™‚
Thank you for stopping by again today! πŸ™‚
Take care- Jill πŸ™‚

Stamp of Approval Blog Hop!

Happy Monday!! Today I have the fun opportunity to participate along with The Stamp of Approval Naturally Inspired Collection Blog Hop! What fun I’ve had working with this party in a box, delivered to my door! The Stamp of Approval Collection is an exclusive collection. These individual products were designed just for this collection box. Each product is a brand new design, and will not be available again from Catherine Pooler Designs for many months. Make sure you subscribe to the wait list to get first notice of the sales link…these collections sell out quickly! You can get on the waitlist here: WWW.CPSTAMPOFAPPROVAL.COM

The question for this hop is: What keeps you naturally inspired? My answer is pretty simple: COLOR! I love to mix up different and random color combinations. I find combinations of color randomly in catalogs, stores, advertisements, fashion, home decor, paper goods, in my scrap discard pile (most used source), etc. IΒ  find that the most unexpected color combinations are often the ones I like best. Of course, I also always trust a good rainbow color combo too, as I did below today! πŸ™‚ The rainbow will never fail us! πŸ™‚

On with the party! I mean, cards! πŸ˜‰

For these cards, I used the following from this collection: Wild Garden Stamp Set, Simply the Best Stamp Set, and the Best die. I also used all Catherine Pooler bold color inks. Those can be found HERE.

How festive is this Wild Garden stamp set?! It has Spring and Summer written all over it! I shocked and amazed myself that I had the forethought to create two of these cards (altering the sentiment) at the same time! I think that is a huge perk of this collection: The sentiments can be changed up so easily to make dozens of sayings! πŸ™‚

You’re the Best! I really ❀ the font style of this *best* die. It’s pretty awesome.

I die cut the word a few times and layered them up for pow! I then adhered the other heat embossed sentiments with foam adhesive.

I love all these ink colors together! ❀  The Catherine Pooler inks are all juicy and stamp well, with very little little effort. A huge win in my book. My favorite color is Tutti Frutti. It’s an awesome orange-red and it’s called Tutti Frutti for cryin’ out. πŸ™‚

I thought I’d share another rainbow inspired card, this time with more of a graphic take:

These sentiment stamps ROCK! Sending You Laughter! Perfect! πŸ™‚ And I know exactly who I am sending this one too! I used the same Catherine Pooler bold ink colors.

For this card, I again used the Simply the Best Stamp Set as well as the Birds of a Feather Stamp Set. This crosshatch stamp is great for stamp kissing techniques too!

Be sure to leave comments along the way for the BLOG HOP PRIZE!

One winner will be chosen at random from each day’s comments and announced on June 9 on Catherine Pooler’s blog. The winners will win their box and if they already bought it, they will be issued a Gift Certificate worth $100 towards a future purchase.

June Fun from Technique Tuesday!

I looked at the calendar today. June 3! What?! Already?! The good news is, that means new stamps and dies from Technique Tuesday ! They can be found HERE!

I thought I’d share a few cards with the new goodies! Here we go!

These little fun guys are part of the new set, Small Fries. And there are dies HERE! How cute is that name?! I thought I’d make it a party scene using the Planner Celebrate Stamp Set! Also a fun way to get more use of your planner stamps. I was SUPER excited to see THIS fishbowl die called, Fish Bowl. Ha! Perfect!

Gah, so fun! I used Distress Oxide inks for the water. It turned out better than I thought it would!

Next up, I’m sharing the new owl, Party Time Owl. He’s ready to PARTY! This guy the new edition to all the little owl sets that can be found HERE.

These little paper strips on my owl card, are actually trimmings from the cards I made below. Love how that worked out! I scored/embossed the rest of the card to add additional texture and carry the lines through. This Party card above also uses my go-to die, Photo Frame.

The cards below are made with the new Greenhouse Society Marigold set. There is also a matching die for this flower!

For this, I used the word dies Celebrate and Thank You. I masked off these different blocks and blended on some ink. I really enjoy how they turned out! I’d use this technique for making more of these cards, and giving card set gifts. The Marigold stamp was perfect for this! yay!

I used Worn Lipstick, Fossilized Amber, and Spiced Marmalade. (I would be awesome if the ink was Dried Marigold, right? Ha!)

Lots of fun new products for everyone’s style. Be sure to check out the new stuff from Technique Tuesday HERE!Β  πŸ™‚

Have a GREAT weekend! Thanks for stopping by!

Take care- Jill πŸ™‚

Paper Smooches Fun!

I’m poppin’ in because the new Paper Smooches June release is available HERE! I was going to share my favorites from this release, but then the list just included everything, for one reason or another! Haaaa! So be sure to check it all out! πŸ™‚

I thought I’d share this fun card I made with the new Garden Greetings stamp set and dies. This set combines the sentiment and images, all in one! Super quick and easy for cards! πŸ™‚

I colored this “hi” with Copic makers and added some Glossy accents. I added it to the Tag Stitched Die that I die cut from patterned paper! (Yay me, using PP!)

I then busted out some old school corrugated paper and added the tags to a card. Kinda fun. Kinda retro, right? Haaa! πŸ™‚

While I’m here, thought I’d share these cards I made for my son’s teachers, as end of the year cards. I’m sure they need a summer break too, BIG time! So I ran with that theme. I’ll be sending these along with some summer goodies as a HUGE thank you for an awesome first year in Elementary School. Phew. I can’t believe it’s almost wrapped up! I will not cry. I will not cry. I’ll totally cry.Β  πŸ™‚

I used some Frosted Lace stickles to create an “icey” look. Kinda fun, but photographs like muck. haaaa! Better in person, thank goodness! πŸ˜‰

The little smiley is from the previously released Pineapple Crush set. ❀

I rubbed on some Persimmon Distress Ink to give the Popsicles a little touch, but it pretty much all soaked in to the paper. I have a knack for that too. πŸ˜‰

And of course, googley eyes! πŸ™‚

For this I used the Cool Treats dies. These are a staple! So so so fun! I also used the sparky Summer Sampler set! I just partially inked the sentiment stamps and stacked the words that way. It is probably MUCH easier to cut the stamp, but, I have issues. LOL!!

Getting in the summer grove!! Yay!

Thanks for stopping by! Hope you Relax and Chill!Β  πŸ™‚

You Make My Heart Smile

Happy Weekend! I thought I’d pop in to share a couple more cards with Technique Tuesday stamps and dies today! They can be found HERE!

For this card, I used the new Hi Bouquet stamp set! πŸ™‚ Also, I used one of my favorite sets of sentiments, Find Beauty. I love this sentiment!

If you like detailed flower stamps, be sure to check out Technique Tuesday’s Greenhouse Society stamps HERE. There are so many lovely ones! You’ll find some amazing colored card samples there too!

I kept this one simpler with some navy blue ink. This would be a great card for making a stack of cards to send! πŸ™‚Next up, I used this month’s release of Animal House, Leonardo the Lion! This cutie went into my son’s lunchbox a couple of weeks back. ❀

I created my own background card base using a couple of the smaller images in the set, and stamping repeatedly with red ink. I colored Leonardo with Copic markers, added a little Wink of Stella sparkle, and some Glossy Accents. (Bonus: HERE are the coordinating dies for this set!)

The Animal House critters all have little background stories, which are quite fun to read. πŸ˜‰

And last, but not least, I made these little list cards with the new Bucket List stamp set. This is fantastic for scrapbookers, but also awesome for us list makers out there! I really enjoy crossing things off a list! I just tuck these in my planner, and use as needed. πŸ™‚

You can find all Technique Tuesday’s May Release HERE!Β  πŸ™‚ The June release will be swimming in next week!! Just sayin’! Wink wink πŸ˜‰

Thanks for stopping by–have a FANTASTIC weekend!

Congrats! ’17

Happy Friday! Hope you’re off to start a wonderful weekend! If you are looking for my Paper Smooches DT June Hop post, please click —> HERE. Prizes to win! Such fun to see the new goodies! πŸ™‚

Today’s card is made with the May released Grad Cap Card Die fromΒ  Paper Smooches. I also used the New Beginnings 2 stamp set. It’s packed with great sentiments!

I ❀ that sentiment, “Bask in Your Awesomeness”!! Perfect! πŸ™‚ This die set makes this fun tassel, which I think can be used in a variety of ways, outside of tassel making!

These fun sunglasses are from the Pineapple 2 die set. Love. Them.

I thought this was a fun nod to how graduates put tape on their caps to say “Hi Mom” etc. Do they still do this? Ha! I don’t think I ever did because I feel like we received our attire late in the game? Hmmmm… You’d think I’d remember my graduations. Nope. Ha! I think I was exhausted πŸ™‚

Check out the Paper Smooches blog for more fun, and stay in the loop on the upcoming release and current challenge! I love the PS Challenges! Always have. πŸ™‚

Have a great weekend!
